I loved this video, not talking nonsense like many others videos. You go straight to the point, good job, well executed and self explanatory 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you 🙏
Hi..! I wanted to say something.. first thank you so much for your patience in replying to every comment and every doubt asked. It's because of you many of us are inspired to start their own resin works. I started doing this from past one week. But I feel like am failing. Every thing I tried came out as not expected. I couldn't even say whether it turned out good or bad. But when I see videos out here in RUclips everything seems so perfect and evryone is working with grace. Every morning am waking up to feel disappointed. It's very saddening. Does everyone failed in their initial attempts or is it just me..?! I was so confident in the beginning that I could do those beauties easily that I wanted to take it as a career. But now I don't know if I could even take it as a hobby...!
Hi. I'm so sorry to hear that. First, I'd like to say that rhe brand of resin really affects the outcome of your project. Please use the best quality of resin. The brand that am using doesn't ship to other countries tho. But you can try using ART RESIN brand, or PADUO. Second, yes. Everyone makes mistakes. Even I. Before I can even film all my projects, I already experimented with them. So, I always tell in my every video what you should and shouldn't do. My next upload will be my failed resin projects so ya'll could see that I also make mistakes before I can finally have a decent outcome. 😅 It's part of the learning process. Please don't get disappointed. You'll learn this soon.
I am a crafter in Taiwan. Crafting is not my business but I love hand making at home. I have done resin epoxy and uv glue crafts for years. But I totally understand your feeling. It’s not easy to make perfect ones like experts showed on RUclips, it’s so true. And cruel. (Hug) I told my self when I’m disappointed like you are that a good piece only comes out after hundreds of failure works. (Hug hug)
I've been using epoxy resin for the last 6 months. I've learned a lot from watching videos often. I agree that you need a good resin. I use the plastic throw away cups that has the measurements on them. I recently figured out that if I let the mixture rest for a few moments, that it comes out more clear. I put my mixture, still in the mixing cup; into a larger more sturdy plastic cup filled 1/3 with hot to warm water. This has been a game changer for me. instead of rushing, I am slowing down my process, and it really has a made a tremendous difference. after 5-10 minutes, I then pull the cup out of the water, mix it for 20 seconds, and it is clear as day. then I pour it into my molds...I hope this helps.
@@EjoysArtSpace29Hola amiga gracias por compartir disculpa como se llama la lona de imagen que usas en las letras ? Y solo se transfiere la imagen con la resina UV o con resina epoxi se puede
Thanks for sharing! So simple, but so pretty. I used to put leftover resin in small moulds, too, but eventually I had boxes full of excess small parts, I barely used any, and it got annoying. So I started to measure the fill quantity of each mold I used and wrote it down on a piece of paper that hangs on the wall by my workstation. That way I was able to dramatically reduce the amount of leftover resin. :) I just fill the mould with water, g = ml. By the way, small amounts of clear resin can just be poured onto a silicone mat. Once cured, I chop it up and use it as an invisible filler in resin projects. It's not noticeable that I'm stingy, is it? :D
Wow those are awesome!! You have amazing talent. Im new to all of this resin work, ive made 1 thing a mermaid tail lol. You make it look so easy, thank you for the tutorial i cant wait to try it!!
Your work is gorgeous and inspiring!! How long do you wait before putting it under iv light and how long do you keep it under the light. Also, does it have to dry after the iv light and before doming? Thank you Deb
After putting the foil, you can cure it under UV Light already for like 30 seconds. Try to slowly peel off the foil, if some parts didn't stick to your letter, put uv resin again then pressed the foil again and cure again for 30 seconds. Repeat this process if the whole foil didn't stick to your letter. Before doming, the foil must be dried completely. It will. After curing several times. So ready for doming.
Hey there! Soooooo omg I’m obsessed with your work. I subscribed and I have a 3 questions… you mixed your epoxy resin 3:1. Was this a special epoxy/resin? Why 3:1 and how long did it take to cast? I’m a beginner and this totally. Lee my mind. OH! What are the decal papers called that you used? Well I can watch the video again for the name. You’re wonderful.
Thank you so much for supporting me 😊 For your questions: 1. I mixed 3:1 because that's the ratio of the resin I'm using. Some resin are 1:1 or 2:1, always follow what's written on the label of yours. 2. I like 3:1 because it seems to cure really well and I never failed any projects. It takes 6 hours to cure that you can already demoed but you can wait for 12 hours to finally cure. 3. Name is Nail Transfer Foils
Amazing! I’m only looking at your video because I don’t want to get confused by other people. I would love to start doing this. I want to start off with keychains and then work my way up. I just have to look for ur tutorial for beginners
I have been using this film for a few months now but the lot I bought never came with instructions so I have been cutting pieces to fit! This will make it SO much easier!!!
I did this one without watching your video and messed up. Result was not good. Thanks for sharing this video and now I am going to try it and hope it works out for me. I am planning to give keychain to my friends as a Christmas gift
Your work is gorgeous!! How long do you leave it under the uv light and how long do you wait before removing the foil? Do you wait before putting it under the light?

How many watts is your uv lamp? Do you have a recommendation for which uv Kano?
Congratulation nice idea

Amazing work ,wanted to know what you did after covering the nail foil ....how you dried it
Just leave it with cover to avoid dust or insects get into it.
You can also cure it outside, under the sun.
Thanks for asking the question I was wondering about!
So simple and beautiful

👍Great idea, looks great. Never thought to use nail foils in this way. What brand of nail foils do you use?
Thank you 😊 it doesn't have a brand. They are the cheap ones from online shops.
They are foils???
