HiFran I’ve been watching you for a while now, I also subscribed a while ago. Not sure if I’ve commented on any videos but I’m loving your videos and your jewellery etc. I’ve ordered a few moulds and resin etc and waiting for it to be delivered. I have some here already but haven’t tried using it yet. I was going to make some resin items for gifts at Christmas but ended up very sick for about 8 weeks ands I just haven’t been back in my craft room since the start of December done err ended up making anything. After watching your videos and a couple of other resin users I’m so inspired and I’ve got my motivation back and can’t wait to get in my craft room and start using my resin, I’m so looking forward to it. Thank you for all I’ve learnt and am learning from you, I really appreciate it very much. You really make some very beautiful jewellery and I really love your bracelets in this video and I also love the necklace/hair tie, it’s awesome. Looking forward to many more of your videos Fran.
Wow, thank you Pamela! I sure appreciate the feedback, and I'm glad you're feeling up to creating again. Let me know how your projects turn out, and if you need any help along the way :) fran@little-windows.com
Once again Fran, you have out done yourself. I never would have thought to do it like this. I guess I will be buying another set of those handy dividers. I want to buy another Creation Station too. I already bought two Creation Stations, but I definitely think having three of those will help me keep organized. I loved this video and can't wait until I can get in my craft room again so I can play with all of my new stuff. Unfortunately, that will probably be next year making it about 2.5 years since I have been able to craft. :( Hopefully, we will start on my craft room remodel soon. We need to pack up the rest of my stuff and move everything out. Next will be to put in a new faux hardwood floor, and then build my new craft room. Meanwhile, I will look forward to watching all your videos and see what insanely "brilliant" tip you've come up with next. ;) YOU ARE THE BEST FRAN!!!

Hello! As long as you have good ventillation in your space, and you're not making lots of large projects at once (e.g.; tumblers), you shouldn't need a respirator. HOWEVER, if you have chemical sensitivities you shouldn't take risks with your health, wear a respirator that screens out organic vapors. Brilliant Resin is the safest epoxy you'll find, and I'm usually making batches that are about 1 TBSP, so the risk is very low. I hope you have lots of fun! fran@little-windows.com

HI Fran! Great video as always. Thank you for what you do! I have a question. What mm is your elastic cord for the hair ties? I checked your web site but didn't see it. TIA, Kris!
Hello @kirstenb1997! I got my cord at JoAnn Fabrics, it's a Dritz product called "Round Elastic Cord" item 9342B. It doesn't have any size info on the package, which seems weird, but from my measurement it's about 1.5mm. Online they say it's 1/16". They have another one called "Beading Cord Elastic", which is a little thinner and stretchier if you prefer that. Here's an Amazon link to the one I have: www.amazon.com/Dritz-9342B-Round-Elastic-5-Yard/dp/B002XNQOV6/ref=sr_1_2?crid=6YTYXCYGZD9N&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.tGUwyl74-TBU1BcDdLKNfrkDb4yx4MKuvKaSh5V6tOfQXCr4Th_NzgXx8WDi1guwtTnTYQoszNE9VB1USLaIpky9sxgYDyzOZEU-OmoV2AnxotYKfMWAK7_HJnw27woDNP5_UIo0IV7UyZeRNPr5OkHaLvgbMPYAEw8EU0dKLrCLShz2NRG99Y9hi_QK8cMONLpr3tP3AJm3OzMthStkzhPsqswu7QhIOWUy9JJkrugOKBr8aTgRU6apSExV2oEYQxNk5Iqgu59fYg7twZ0_sa8SgZQsVWF_vo-gGr4U8KM.NM1On3jkO8_5flEKLn7xOQ6tgrQEW6LIWsNzCUMBOBw&dib_tag=se&keywords=dritz%2Bround%2Bcord%2Belastic&qid=1710957092&sprefix=dritz%2Bround%2Bcord%2Belastic%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-2&th=1 That's a very long URL. Hello @mebobtheone, nope, its me and me! I learned it's more efficient to film the making, cut out the super boring parts (waiting for resin to set, etc), then record the voiceover to fit. I hope you're loving these videos for little-windows.com, I have more coming! Fran@little-windows.com
Hello @SylverZone! I appreciate your feedback, and you're right, especially if you've got sensitivities or feel you may end up touching any resin. I'm using Brilliant Resin, the safest epoxy you'll find, mixing in small batches, making small things, in a well ventilated space. I apologize if the safety information in the first half of this tutorial wasn't clear about that. I'll work on doing better in future.
