Hello, again Fran. I have worked in the culinary/food service industry for close to 40 years and since I am semi-retired now, I work in a Sprouts Farmers Market in their deli department, so I have been able to take home a clear salad dome top to cover my projects, which I am just now starting. For other people who are starting out in this crafting adventure, go to a drive-in place like Wendy's and order a salad. Keep the top for the covering of larger projects, they are perfect. Happy crafting everyone :)
Thanks for posting this fantastic idea! I tell people this quite often when they ask if they can buy a cover from me - there are SOOOO many we come across in our daily lives, but it's sometimes hard to think about that deli tray cover having a non-food use, so thanks again, keep creating!
