- One week trip to spectate The Toughest Rally in the World - Dakar Rally!
Dunes, desert, remote areas together with fastest Cars, Motorcycles, Buggys and Trucks. While some pass at maximum speed, others do mistakes, get lost or even crash...
This is My experience of following Dakar rally and trying to find best spots to spectate and feel what it is really like this Toughest Rally. I have covered around 5000KM in Toyota Fortuner just to be lucky to see fastest guys at least once a day. Doing lots of KM on the straight roads, driving dirt paths or even climbing dunes myself.
Was fortunate enough to have access to do a tour of Dakar Bivouac - seeing Dakar Classic cars there too! Made camp and slept in the tent in the Desert. Got in the way for fastest Cars before knowing it was a track and nearly crashed... One week of total DAKAR experience for Me!

Me too! And it happened in empty quarter - 1000KM from capital where the rental company is, so I would have been in deep and long problem

I appreciate this video, this is my first time paying attention to the Dakar rally,and I was wondering how you can see the racers
1:31:15 Those aren't delivery trucks, those are Support trucks. They also run the same race tracks but not part of the race itself that way they are not too far behind from the race vehicles that might need assistance.
Thanks! I might be wrong in some places, but this truck no. 648 was driving in race truck category, in the end of the video is also some shots of it while struggling through the dunes :) Sadly or on purpose they withdrawn from the race in stage 12.
@@Ringfreaks sucks the;y dropped at the last stage. It's amazing seeing those trucks go thru the racing tracks. I usually see the Boucou assistance trucks, but i guess not this year.
My friend found your car key we asked but you were not around so we pressed the open button when your car unlocked we left the key on the seat

Dakar is very boring, compared to endurance racing, if you would upload generally about racing in Germany, cars, tracks, it would be nice, especially GT3 cars and a vlog about N24H event would be perfect.
But I understand there is many other viewers who might like different content and it's nothing bad about it, just my two cents.
It's winter, GT3 cars are hybernating now 🙂
@@ballekeI know right, I am not talking about this time just in general, there is many much content to show in Germany, even in winter time 😉
