If anyone is debating on letting yourself fall into an affair even if youre not the one bound by a ring and legal documents, I strongly... strongly advise you to not do it at all costs. hands down the most emotionally draining experience of my life. if you love your AP, your basically being cheated on yourself as well. do not put yourself through it. If they aren't willing to get a divorce and do things the right way, dont even entertain it. It spirals quickly.
You get what you deserve. Remember that. You cheating and hiding on your S.O. may seem like a game to you. You may giggle and think theyre stupid because they did not think you were this sneaky untrustworthy to them. But in the end you're not playing them, but yourself.
Infidelity is a choice....you can say no...but of course we say we can end it when we want but it doesn't work so because emotions are involved ...so the thing is to find out more about the person etc. before going into a relationship.
Yes. Affair partners are humans too. How come no one ever talks about them with pastoral care and respect? You cannot decided whom you'd fall in love with suddenly. It's never calculated or a choice. Falling in love can be impulsive and sudden. However, as a man myself and a medical doctor I can definitely guarantee infidelity is a choice that's always made by the cheating spouse, especially if it were a man!
3% of affair partners end up together & of those 3% 98% end up in divorce. Still for the husband it stinks because even if the wife returns the husband is forever her 2nd choice.

I say don’t end it - I say have the hard conversation with your spouse. Offer a generous divorce settlement, including paying their legal fees and minimizing disruption to kids if you have them and then move forward with the affair partner “you are in love with” - right 🙄
Especially if the cheater is the wife. A wife cheats when she has lost desire for her husband & once that genuine desire is gone it's never coming back. Even if there are kids it is best to split up & move on.
