One of the advantages of being our age. October 19, 1982....The Beast on the Road. Judas Priest (World Vengeance Tour) opened for Iron Maiden (or maybe Rob wanted to play first). Saw two of the best Heavy Metal vocalists on the same night. It was so loud, structural repairs had to be done to the Civic Center where the vibrations caused cracks to form in the concrete. My ears rang for a week!

My absolute favorite thing about iron maiden is how they tell a story in every song. They don't just repeat versus and choruses over and over and I love it. No song is just "filler" on an album
