I gave up fizzy drinks in 2008- fruit juice is also full of sugar so I do not drink or make it, I stick with eating fruit raw. I drink 2l of water daily. I gave up white bread too for brown bread but I don't even eat bread or toast anyway. I cannot give up oils o e go hard die. I only use oil for plantain and stew. I don't put sugar in anything i make that needs sugar. Honey is an amazing replacement. I only drink almond milk with my tea and to make anything that requires milk.

let me point something out, as a biochem student i have to tell you that both honey and sugar are carbs, theres none healthier. its a myth. like in everything quantity is key. you just have to know to keep it to a minimum. so dont think replacing sugar with excess honey is going to do anything for you cause its not. they are both sugars , one is plant and one is animal its still processed and honestly too much of anything is harmful to you even some fruits have lots of sugars in them basically anthing that you take that is sweet is sugar. which is eventually converted or stored. dont over do it

However, if you really enjoy your breads you can opt for the flourless breads that are sprouted and Ezekiel bread. Breads have been stripped of their nutritional value and grains. Ezekiel bread or other sprouted breads are not perfect but with these the consumers try to keep the natural nutritional value. And with oils stick with any oils that comes from plants such as you stated, olive. And there’s other healthy oils as well such as sunflower, coconut, etc. but thanks again for all your fine videos.
Loved the video and the advice as well as your kitchen. I did want to mention though that fruit juices contain as much sugar as most sodas/soft drinks. The large quantities of sugar in pineapple juice, apple juice, grape juice etc will lead to diabetes if consumed regularly just as quickly as excessive soft drinks consumption. The culprit is the the sugar!

I dropped white rice for brown and red rice. Cut off garri for oats. Using tiger milk to make oats porridge u don't need any sweeter. Lovely.
It would have been nice to see your weight before now to compare or see the evidence of what you are sharing. Because some people are genetically thin it doesn't matter what they eat they don't gain weight while others eat a meal and look pregnant afterwards. The body also needs healthy fats like avocado and nuts so bottom line is eat greens daily, include healthy fat and avoid processed foods. Boil or oven baked. Use stevia or xylitol in baking or fruit for natural sweetener. Stay healthy. Get right facts. Try keto diet.

Brown sugar can replace white sugar which is better but both are sugar so...the honey around where I live, I think are sugar packed and not real/ pure honey. Olive oil is good and for the milk, well I love milk so much but like a 2% low fat milk is better or maybe coconut n almond milk can be another option. Just discovered your channel and kudos to you 👍🏽. Health is really a major topic of concern especially with the rise in chronic ailments etc. The one area where most people fail is the ratio of carbohydrates to healthy fats. Consuming too much carbohydrates is the main culprit. Eating healthy fats is something we don’t do enough of. Healthy fats include extra virgin olive oil, avocados 🥑, coconut oil, oily fish like salmon, mackerel, sardines etc and then plenty of vegetables. Add intermittent fasting to the mix and you will not only lose weight but also reduce inflammation, diabetes and much more.
I boil my chicken and beef then dry them in my microwave for 10-15 mins. it amazes me how much oil is drips out of my Turkey and chicken after it's done.
@@chizzy_135 if you mean beef.put them in a microwaveable plate and microwave for 5mins first to see if its dry enough for you. If not keep adding more time till you see it golden brown and dry.

Great tips. I have started drinking fresh lemonade instead of fizzy drinks. I also love drinking warm water with lime and honey in the morning.

Eliminating oil completely from your diet is not healthy. Whole grain is recommended over wheat. I am always open for discussion.

I boil my chicken and beef then dry them in my microwave for 10-15 mins. it amazes me how much oil is drips out of my Turkey and chicken after it's done.

@@chizzy_135 if you mean beef.put them in a microwaveable plate and microwave for 5mins first to see if its dry enough for you. If not keep adding more time till you see it golden brown and dry.
How do you preserve your fruit juice?
Ifemi Fred in glass jars and in the refrigerator for upto 5 days.
