    This is 100%accurate
    Earlier last year I decide to sheds some weight and I just decided to set some rules for myself
    1Water .Am not a water person before but now , I trained my body to love water by force lols ,I have to start my day with four glasses of warm water and some drops of lemon (optional)If I didn't drink water for 20min my body would stat screaming for water. Some time I do scared that am drinking More than enough 😂😂 😂
    2. switching from white bread to wheat bread. Its really help and makes me feel full for long.
    3. Strictly no sugar I would rather had raw honey for alternative
    4. Fizzy drinks are big No ,Thou am a big fan of cola before but I can proudly say now that I haven't had more than four bottles for more than a 1year now.
    5. oil. 90% of my cooking based on Extra virgin olive oil
    With all this I feel much healthier and more beautiful
    Am loving the new Me 😍😍 😍

    Yes, you can use honey, agave, xylitol or if you need something that looks like sugar, use stevia, it's plant base for your pancakes or baked products. Substitute a tbsp sugar for a tsp stevia

    This is so true. Its better to avoid all this stuff to be Healthy. Eating healthy also help your Skin to glow because your Skin is the evidence of what is happening inside your Body. Thanks for sharing.

    Am 31 years old and my body started rejecting sugar when I was a kid,everyone thought I was weird being that I throw up every time I eat anything sweet,I try to put a little sugar in my body so that my blood sugar levels will be balanced

    Dairy free milk is also a good alternative to full cream milk. Also some tips to enjoy your water, throw some fruit slices in your glass like lemon orange as well as some veggies like cucumber.

    I use an air fryer for the goodies that I like. Works just as well, with spray olive oil.

    I ditched Milo for Pure cocoa or coffee,full cream for skimmed, garri for wheat,bread for Kemp's crackers and still scouting for more alternatives for some other food like oil that without breaking the banks

    I use Ezekiel 4:9 bread, Egg Beaters Liquid wholw eggs with nisin in it. Almond milk,protein smoothie with Apple's/ blackberry cinnamon. Brown rice low sugar fruits. Lean chicken breast, lean turkey breast, Fish. Greek yogurt triple- zero. My Fats nuts almonds, cashews, sunflower, pumpkin seeds. Vegetable protien bar's. I eat my carbs, proteins a certain time of day according to my screening at my nutritionist. Low sugar fruits all day and vegetables. Water no juice. Plus excercise walking. 3wks now on this menu .

    I gave up fizzy drinks in 2008- fruit juice is also full of sugar so I do not drink or make it, I stick with eating fruit raw. I drink 2l of water daily.
    I gave up white bread too for brown bread but I don't even eat bread or toast anyway.
    I cannot give up oils o e go hard die. I only use oil for plantain and stew.
    I don't put sugar in anything i make that needs sugar. Honey is an amazing replacement.
    I only drink almond milk with my tea and to make anything that requires milk.

      Ifemi Fred in the refrigerator. Depending on the fruit, fresh fruit juice can stay fresh for upto 5 days in the fridge.

    I reduce my carbohydrate intake no more full plate of rice instead half portion rice + vegetable/salad. I eat food like lentils, whole grain, brown rice, oat and lean. meat. Home made Zobo drinks instead of soft drinks etc.

    let me point something out, as a biochem student i have to tell you that both honey and sugar are carbs, theres none healthier. its a myth. like in everything quantity is key. you just have to know to keep it to a minimum. so dont think replacing sugar with excess honey is going to do anything for you cause its not. they are both sugars , one is plant and one is animal its still processed and honestly too much of anything is harmful to you even some fruits have lots of sugars in them basically anthing that you take that is sweet is sugar. which is eventually converted or stored. dont over do it

      Exactly honey and sugar is the same because when it's comes to insulin level they are all sugar weather brown sugar, white sugar and honey they all spike blood sugar

    I appreciate your videos they’re very encouraging and informative I learned a lot. Now I wanted to share a few things as a newly graduated naturopathic professional/ practitioner. White and wheat bread are both the same type of bread wheat just have a bit more fiber but not much. However, if you really enjoy your breads you can opt for the flourless breads that are sprouted and Ezekiel bread. Breads have been stripped of their nutritional value and grains. Ezekiel bread or other sprouted breads are not perfect but with these the consumers try to keep the natural nutritional value. And with oils stick with any oils that comes from plants such as you stated, olive. And there’s other healthy oils as well such as sunflower, coconut, etc. but thanks again for all your fine videos.

    Great tips. I have started drinking fresh lemonade instead of fizzy drinks. I also love drinking warm water with lime and honey in the morning.

    Loved the video and the advice as well as your kitchen. I did want to mention though that fruit juices contain as much sugar as most sodas/soft drinks. The large quantities of sugar in pineapple juice, apple juice, grape juice etc will lead to diabetes if consumed regularly just as quickly as excessive soft drinks consumption.
    The culprit is the the sugar!

    Thanks so much Winnie. I always love to watch you. My favorite color is red and I always see that around u.
    I cut out all the foods u mentioned but for milk I use homemade tigernut milk. It's super. I dropped white rice for brown and red rice. Cut off garri for oats. Using tiger milk to make oats porridge u don't need any sweeter. Lovely.

    I replaced garri with oats swallow, rice with couscous or shredded cabbage and replaced artificial sweeteners with fruits like apples and bananas.

    It would have been nice to see your weight before now to compare or see the evidence of what you are sharing. Because some people are genetically thin it doesn't matter what they eat they don't gain weight while others eat a meal and look pregnant afterwards. The body also needs healthy fats like avocado and nuts so bottom line is eat greens daily, include healthy fat and avoid processed foods. Boil or oven baked. Use stevia or xylitol in baking or fruit for natural sweetener. Stay healthy. Get right facts. Try keto diet.

    Fruit juices are not great either. Don't drink your calories, get used to water instead. It can take some time, but worth it in the end.

    You always look so beautiful whn your hair is packed! I have reduced fizzy drinks and sugar an its really helping my system. I use a little olive oil , I am not a milk person so that's good. I dont see myself ditching bread😊😊😊 thanks dear!

    Fat is not bad, sugar ( bread, carbohydrates) is the killer. The effect you saw is coming from your little or no intake of carbohydrates. It is not about calories, but hormones.

    Brown sugar can replace white sugar which is better but both are sugar so...the honey around where I live, I think are sugar packed and not real/ pure honey. Olive oil is good and for the milk, well I love milk so much but like a 2% low fat milk is better or maybe coconut n almond milk can be another option. I love food- I’m not gonna lie but while we eat, we must watch what we’re taking in. Thanks beautiful sis

      Mercy Elatuyi brown sugar is actually worse than white sugar because it is just white sugar with a little bit of molasses.

    My dietitian advised me not to eliminate oil totally from my meal

      Don’t eliminate, just use healthier oil. Do research on natural foods rich in healthy oil.
      Avoid frying. Meats already have oil
      Just grill them

      Mojola Odufuwa none is better. Brown sugar is just white sugar with molasses which even make it worse. Stick with honey okay.

    Just discovered your channel and kudos to you 👍🏽. Health is really a major topic of concern especially with the rise in chronic ailments etc.
    The one area where most people fail is the ratio of carbohydrates to healthy fats.
    Consuming too much carbohydrates is the main culprit. Eating healthy fats is something we don’t do enough of. Healthy fats include extra virgin olive oil, avocados 🥑, coconut oil, oily fish like salmon, mackerel, sardines etc and then plenty of vegetables. Add intermittent fasting to the mix and you will not only lose weight but also reduce inflammation, diabetes and much more.

    Eliminating oil completely from your diet is not healthy. Whole grain is recommended over wheat. I am always open for discussion.

    I boil my chicken and beef then dry them in my microwave for 10-15 mins. it amazes me how much oil is drips out of my Turkey and chicken after it's done.

      @@chizzy_135 if you mean beef.put them in a microwaveable plate and microwave for 5mins first to see if its dry enough for you. If not keep adding more time till you see it golden brown and dry.
