Just curious, do we really realize that in biblical times, men were not out looking for their wives, they were pre-arranged marriages like Saul gave David his daughter to marry or Abraham sent his servant to find Isaac a wife or Ishmael’s mama found him a wife or Laban gave Leah to Jacob to marry or etc.?
Aw no worries girl, I’ve been friendzoned in college too, many times, for the same reasons. Honestly that rejection was God’s protection. Focus on being and building you.
These comments are sad , stating it’s childish and should be an age requirement to write him. Yes, the email may seem childish but they are young and it’s their norm. That doesn’t mean she shouldn’t receive help from Tony. If women at 50+ can email Tony though they should of been learned these lessons the younger women should be able to as well. BEFORE they make the wrong decisions. Kudos to young ladies watching and learning early 🤎
I think people are just slight embarrassed for her. She wrote this letter like Tony was her girlfriend on the phone. Plus she 20 years old and the boy was 18, and she sounds so lost in the sauce. Even the pictures Tony described she seems a little confused. She all over the place with her looks trying to find out what works. Chris went and got him probably some plain jane Caucasian and that really set the writer off. But the writer needs to realize Chris just trying to have fun. The writer seems too serious and that is cool, but in college most young dudes are not looking for a wife at that moment.
@@nadia4999 so true about the College thing. I seem to recall Tony discussed this in his last video. There's almost this Rite of Passage to constantly Have Fun plus this FOMO. I briefly had a serious boyfriend in College, but he broke off with me saying it wasn't as much Fun as he thought being in a relationship should be. I wasn't too cut up, too much drama.
@@roxydee1452 what does FOMO mean. When i was in college I had the notion I would meet my husband there, but I was not pressed about it. College is about your education but you should have your eyes open, but I really could not take a man serious while in college. In college that was the first time a lot of people were away from their parents, and you could not just fall crazy in love over the first girl or boy who approached you. College is about learning who you are really, and on top of that what you want to do with your life career wise, at least my thoughts at the time. I was low key scared of men, but there were several men that approached me while in college and it freaked me out. If you were not in any of my classes and a random guy approached me I was like who are you and where did you come from lol. I know several females who had boyfriends throughout college, and that is all they were just boyfriends. Some actually married their college boyfriend, and a lot of them did not marry their college boyfriend. I don't think a female should just go wild in college, because you have to be smart and safe but yes she should have fun a little while in college and learn men and get her heart broken.

But why Chris got to be seen as a time waster. Chris living his best life in college snatching up Caucasian knocking that off his bucket list. LOL. She might want to hold off on that hug from TJ too, because TJ already know he the fall back guy, and those type of guys can get you on your back and make you kick rocks just to prove a point that you initially over looked them. Lil sis need to relax and enjoy college, and if any man approaches her while in college listen and watch him good before she even opens her mouth again talking about she like him.

@@kaleema1987 there are definitely cultural differences. The dynamics of the relationship can be very different. But there are men who are wonderful in every ethnic group and some who aren't so wonderful.
And I wish this was said more often. People be so blinded by dating out. Not realizing people are people no matter the race or ethnicity a good person is a good person and no matter the race or ethnicity a bad person is a bad person.
@@nataliet.3023 So many people have been brainwashed by media and our very tainted history that they refuse to see anything beyond what they "know". In all honesty, before I dated I thought that maybe one group might be better bc of stereotypes and what people implied. Now that I've dated interracially, I know better. Men are men. Women are women. Most people are barely making ends meet. Everyone is dealing with similar issues on a day to day basis. Color doesn't matter. I've found that the dynamics in interracial relationships can be different from intraracial relationships. But overall, people are just people.

Then when she met TJ's friend Chris without a car but probably really handsome and clearly smart she want him. I wish all young girls knew how precious these years are, that it is a blessing to be protected and not have to deal with relationships at that age because they are filled with drama, empty promises and disillusions, especially since boys under 25 are more immature than girls. Some way we've all been there, that's how you start to learn the world and its lessons, by dealing with it, but make it your promise to guard and protect your heart, your innocence, your dreams and future. Don't let anyone waste your time, distract you from your goals and education, scar you, shatter your illusions or make you resent love because it's not love that hurts you, it's just someone who doesn't know how to love.

If Chris was really a user he would have took advantage of her telling him she liked him. He would have used that as a cover up to get free tail and free so called rap or writing from her. She is 20 years old talking about they could not get to the candy bowl in the library. You really think she writing hit songs like that. Chris probably just never met a female with her style of being able to rap or flow, and if he asked her to be his ghost writer that means he saw potential in her. Chris could have been a dog, but the fact that he liked her enough to tell her in so many words can be really just be friends, but she kept pressing the issue so he had to get a little nasty with her. Some women/females can not accept rejection, and hopefully this young lady will not hold too hard feelings against Chris and just realize he is just not into her like that on that level, but she might be actually cool.

Aww the memories. I want to tell this girl to stop worrying about this baby drama and to focus on herself and her studies but I was the same way when I was her age. Didn’t date in high school so when I got to college I was super green and would always amplify everything that happened. 😂😂 She’s just young and naive, probably just excited to be ‘dating’. My grandfather on my mother's side was biracial in Alabama, his mother was White and his father was Black. He told me about the one drop rule and I researched this when I got older and he was correct. Back in his time, biracial people weren't accepted as White, they were identified as Black according to that one drop rule. My grandfather told me he felt lost as child because he was too Black for the White community and too White for the Black community. So that's why a lot of biracial go harder for our communities because they felt like they had to prove themselves. Chris and TJ sounds like they have been listening to KS talking about a woman need to approach a man.

If I’m correct I remember learning that the reason why a lot of the black leaders were light skin or mixed race was because they appealed more to white people. And black people knew white people would hear them out before brown and dark skin black people. It all goes back to colorism with white people being able to digest blackness coming from a particular kind of black.
