A man saying he wants a good woman is all relative. To some men, "a good woman" is someone that will lay on their back all of the time. It's important that us women are clear what a man considers what HIS definition of a good woman.
My ex was getting closer to a woman at work. Eventually I could see he wasn't really in the relationship anymore. I broke it off after 3 and a half years. He still wanted to be friends after this , but I told him no. My reason , " No, If you can't be a friend to me in the relationship then you're not going to be my friend out of it."
You hit it. Don't be a side-friend or a side-chick because they just want benefits whether it be emotional, mental, physical, spiritual or financial. Nope.
My ex called me regularly and visited me, for 2 years after he broke up with me. Would cuddle me up, go on trips with me, say I love you, etc. But while I was waiting for him, he was out living his single life. Was always interested to know if I was dating anyone even though he was for sure dating around. I was always holding onto that hope with all my might but it eventually the disappointment and toxicity made me say enough is enough and cut him off. He reached out to me months later, trying to see me and acting like I was the one in the wrong for cutting him off. Selfish people are not going to let you go as long as you benefit them so you have to find the strength to let them go. Know your worth and don't be desperate.
He doesn't want to let you go because you are an ASSET You do not know your worth, that's why you're still entertaining him. You are a valuable asset, he sees your worth. He knows that he doesn't deserve you, but he's holding on to something he should not have.

Wow, and I would sense that it was deeper than him just wanting to have my body. One time he even mentioned that men can place a sickness into a woman's body and it wouldn't show up til much later and even the doctors would not be able to detect it but she would know it's there. If doctors were to detect it they wouldn't know what to do with it. I thought, this man has a little too much knowledge on things like this. At first I thought it was because he was Nigerian but I'm not sure that was the only reason.
