Surefire wont release these until everyone buys the old model.... seriously though the shot show trend of “releasing” stuff that hits the market several years later is getting really damn old
pretty pathetic of them.
I have about 20 Surefire products and deployed multiple times using their kit and I really like the company. However, I have been calling them every quarter for two years about their XR2 light and about four years for their XH-55G and still the same song; “not sure when/if it’s going to be released” and no transparency. So I’ve transitioned all of my Surefire handgun lights to Streamlight and will not call again. I still like the company and their kit but releasing products with no production updates is severely undermining their market share. There are too many very good companies quickly catching up to them. Frankly, I never considered running a handgun weapon light that was not Surefire due to my positive experience with them. But recently, I have been dumbfounded by the quality, reliability and functionality of Streamlight. Now I have an open mind. Good luck Surefire, I still like you guys, but the exclusivity era is over, which is too bad.
lol kid. Its funny how yall think Surefire would listen to yall when they are a military contractor. They dont care about the civilian market lmao
Why “release” it when we can’t BUY IT??!!??
Cool!!
Does the XSC take the same battery as the XR1/2?
Does Surefire have a projected release date for the XR1
No. The XSC is supposedly shipping by the end of December, though.
I wish there was a light/holster combo. Put a light on & you need a holster that accommodates it, duh.
Still no holster that I am aware of :(
the lights aren't even out yet...you need a holster before you buy the light?
I thought it's supposed to fit XC-holsters.
Maybe it changed.
Tier 1 Concealed makes excellent holsters specific to your gun and light combo.
