@@pesciisthebestcharacter5100 yes the easiest one that makes all this simple in Ben 10 it was explained beings with connections to time can sense when someone enters the time stream (travels through time) and can follow them. would've been super simple for alien x to do this and GL couldn't handle alien x anyways alien x follows him through time and erases him instantaneously since that's one of his powers and a fun one to think about is that's the ring is tech based therefore Upgrade could've taken it over controlling it
gl attacks can be faster then the speed the big bang happen at. however gl could not really kill some with there ring due to codes and stuff but that at times been removed.
@@gergernzero6904 The Omnitrix can instantly react. Doesn't matter if Green Lantern can be faster than the big bang, the Omnitrix cannot be beat in regards to speed. However, I'm certain Green Lantern would have won regardless.

But that excuse falls flat when they did the second one featuring SSB which is a canon form created and written by Akira toriyama. The problem being that most superman's are written by different people when most Goku's are written by Akira.

@Fraser Souris Yes that is true. For the original Omnitrix. But not for Alien Force or Ultimate Alien. Or even Omniverse. The Omnitrix updated itself in Alien Force so it doesn’t need a recharge, and fixes any or all DNA corruption of the user or others around him (Long range restoration take a lot out of it and it needs to recharge) When Ben fought the Hybreed, he used that exact feature to save them. Wow, it’s like you didn’t care to look into whether or not he lost this weakness.

The ultimatrix (the omnitrix he was wearing while fighting dagon and vilgax) Destroyed itself after he beat them. After that, azmuth gave him the official omnitrix which was superior to the prototype he found in the ground
there was also a conversation between paradox and azmuth that tells us (and ben, kevin, and guen in the same room, lol) that it was paradox who convinced azmuth to send ben the omnitrix to begin with. i believe the episode was "the forge of creation" or some episode around there...

The entire Green Lantern Corps was completely unaffected by Crisis, which is existence erasure on a multiversal scale. Alien X can’t erase either Hal or the ring. (11:28-11:31) This is also disregarding the fact that feats > statements is a policy (Not to say that statements are unusable, but they become useless when contradicted by feats). And no, Kevin saying _"They could blink and we'd be gone"_ isn't proof of much. Given that he's in no position to know such. And even disregarding that, a blink of an eye takes time to do. Even thinking takes time to do. And when you're facing someone that's several degrees faster than you, it's time you don't get. And likewise, being directly compared to Pre-Crisis Superman by Clark himself's more than enough to match the Chronosapien Time Bomb feat. In which, a WoG literally suggests would kill a Celestialsapien. *"Check out Ink Tank's video"* I've seen it before. He refuted basically nothing. @@k64speed Considering the Galvan race is known throughout most of the universe, the Guardians would know of the Omnitrix, and the ring would know it's a device for peace, and that the one wielding it uses it to protect Earth. Also, since Alien X appears, it means that Ben should be a 16 year old famous superhero, but since he's ten years old, This death battle makes no sense, and really doesn't work.

Which is something he can't actually do, not because of any Omnitrix failsafe, but because of a restriction in his own ring. Green Lanterns _can't kill_ anyone. Anyone. Will win a death battle against a Green Lantern. Because the ring makes the Green Lantern forfeit.

You seem to be deliberately misunderstanding me. The ring can't kill. That's not a moral code like Superman doesn't kill. The weapon is not fit for purpose. You can't kill anything with a Green Lantern ring, just like nobody can kill Superman with a sun lamp. You need the Deus Ex Machina to LET a Green Lantern kill. The power they have is inherently non-lethal. Using your logic, I can kill God with a soup spoon because "me not killing god with a soup spoon" doesn't work for Death Battle. You've ignored that a soup spoon isn't a valid tool for killing gods. And a Green Lantern ring isn't a valid tool for killing anything. Meaning that Ben has access to a bunch of aliens that can kill as part of his powers. And as part of his powers, Green Lantern has absolutely no way to kill at all and overseers actively preventing it. Green Lantern is forced to lose, because the only way the battle CAN end is with the other side killing him, since it CAN'T end with him killing. He doesn't have that power.

It wouldn’t even get to that point because the Omnitrix could’ve transformed into Feedback, which would’ve rendered all of Hal’s attacks useless (he’s immune to light attacks), or Upgrade who could’ve taken over the ring (the ring is tech base first and foremost)

Hal's constructs are able to move at several duoquadragintillion times the speed of light (Yes, that is a real number). Not even Ben's failsafe can keep up with that, seeing as it couldn't save other Omnitrix users in different Multiverses from a Chronosapian Time Bomb.

@S&LDoRandom actually in Ben 10 clockwork literally stopped and reversed the effects of the chronosapien time Bomb, a device that is capable of destroying every timeline and reality in the Multiverse except the Universe it is currently in , that makes clockwork multiversal , and alien x has been stated to be more powerful than clockwork , making alien x multiversal + , but death battle didn't do that, they literally used feats from other green lanters and scaled them to Hal even though Hal has never done those specific feats , but they didn't do the same and scale other of Ben's aliens to alien x , so their argument that green lantern is more powerful is invalid and completely unfair.

Ikr it’s ridiculous 😂 They literally showed how the Omnitrix has a powerful defensive energy surge to prevent stuff like that at the BEGINNING of the battle! They contradict all of the feats that they said Ben had, its nonsense.
A few things: One, the omnitrix is connected to Ben, even when it's separated from him physically. Two, it does everything it can to defend Ben at all times, that should pretty obviously include scissors. Three, Alien X has been shown to have the ability to interrupt reality manipulation by fellow Celestialsapiens, it would make sense that it could do the same to Hal Jordan's time travel. Also, pretty sure Alien X could see what Hal was about to do coming from a mile away, just by virtue of being completely busted.

@@MrBdobb fair point. My only argument to that is that I don't know how fast Hal can summon the ring back. Ben could theoretically remove it and teleport anywhere else. Hal has been outsmarted by mortal men, Ben can transform into beings even smarter than Batman, who has plans on how to defeat Hal. I'm gonna wait to see their response video on Tuesday, but as it is now, they did not do a good job at explaining their outcome, in my opinion.
At least this one, the Ben 10 fans have arguments (though I agree with Death Battles reasoning for GL). Superman vs Goku might as well be Superman vs Captain America, at Supermans level, it's functionally the same, and everybody knows that except for the die hard anime fans who refuse to concede the idea of the match is a stomp for Superman just because they already had their mind made up about who they like more.

The Sotobro Effect is only caused by Chronosapiens, hence how Professor Paradox can time travel into the same timeline as Eon despite warning Clockwork that Eon will sense his time manipulation.

If I say "I'm going to attack the person closest to you," you won't be able to do anything because I'm equally likely to rush forward with a knife as I am to post up in a building with a gun. Ben also would have to take Green Lantern at his word, and he has no way of knowing if Hal lied and thus could actually have gone to a different point in space, waiting for Ben to let his guard down and land a killing blow.

@@solecrab2133 Except Clockwork didn't do that. He undid the damage of the Chronosapien Time Bomb like hitting an undo button on Microsoft Word after deleting all the text. He didn't reverse the blast, hence why the blast itself doesn't come back and neither does the bomb. It's also not scalable for Clockwork for that exact same reason as well. It was through time manipulation, not overpowering the explosion. Hence why the transformation failsafe didn't kick in for anyone.
Incorrect. He lost an arm to scissors, as limb removal isn't covered by any defense mechanisms, and then because the Omnitrix can't transform Ben remotely, he died.

@@rachelmcelwain1921 I looked it up, it is 15 minutes to die from bleeding to death due to an amputation like that. And once the Omnitrix is disconnected from Ben's main body, it can't transform him remotely, meaning Hal can smash the boot on Ben. It should be pretty obvious.
Well, they did also ignore that Hal can literally summon and control the god of death (GL vol 2: the black hand), wilfully bring himself back to life(GL vol 4: war of wills) and convert himself into complete willpower, allowing him to shatter planets with stray thoughts (vol 3: the end) So even with the fail safe, it's hard to argue Ben would win when Hal can do all I've stated above, and that's not even the craziest stuff he's done
@gratedshtick I know right they both downplayed Ben 10 and Green lantern which led to Ben 10 fans thinking Green lanterns weaker than he is and made them think that they were low balling Ben when they were also low balling Green lantern.
For any new commenter: The episode IS right, but poorly explained and displayed. Alien X's power/durability in the video was accepted as Universal with some contention and, if I recall, FTL speed. Outside of it, you could argue anywhere from 26 - infinite dimensional (for example, a 4th-dimensional being is beyond infinitely stronger than the third, so yeah, crazy) with possibly Immeasurable speed. Hal in this vid was placed at infinite multiversal with MFTL+ speed - one feat even being the fastest non-infinite speed feat in DB. Outside?...yeah, Hal commonly faces beings comparable to the likes Darkseid, Mr Mxy, Nekron and beyond. All being infinite-dimensional at the lowest and, at the highest, so far beyond infinite dimensions that the notion is akin to fictional - as well as having Immeasurable speeds and way to speed up too. Paired with that? Hal also just resists all of Alien X's best hax and can negate or surpass any resistance with his own abilities. The Green Lantern ring doesn't just make willpower constructs, it allows the user to warp the fabric of reality, it's closer to an on-hand wishing device rather than a creation kit. So yes, Hal DOES win, albeit it was debated poorly.

Here's the thing about Screw Attack: they will flat out lie about stuff in order to make it seem like they got the fight wrong and they are just hoping people like you believe them without fact checking.
The Rival There have been multiple occasions in the show in which someone tried to take the Omnitrix or even cut Ben’s arm off and the Omnitrix stopped it from happening.

The fight animation is just a fun way to show the result! They just didn't want to show Hal travelling back and killing a pre-Omnitrix Ben! Because killing small children is not a fun thing to show!.. I could see an argument where they draw, but honestly Hal's experience would likely mean that he'd out-time-travel Ben who very rarely even uses Alien X.

It’s happened multiple times, and has even protected him from a lightsaber-esque construct, very similar to Green Lantern powers. ALSO if the Omnitrix itself can’t protect Ben, it can instantly change him into an alien that can. If that blade was somehow stronger than the Omnitrix, Ben should’ve instantly turned into Goop against his will, the moment it broke the skin on his arm

The reasoning they mentioned is "vilgax getting omnitrix" which is totally wrong. Vilgax got omnitrix only once throughout the show and it was when Ben gave him omnitrix himself in final battle part 1 (second last episode of Alien Force) This was never shown in the show

I'm getting really tired of all the scientific copypastas about how Ben 10 is actually an outerversal cosmology just because it has a Type 4 multiverse. The people who use these words don't even know what they mean.

It's countably infinite, and would just be baseline multiversal. Ben 10 powerscalers try to back this up by stating how the verse has quantum mechanics and string theory, and thus, the verse has an outerversal csomology but those are never even explored. We only get a few references to them in 1 or 2 throwaway lines. We don't even know how Ben 10 uses these concepts. There's no evidence they are treated as higher infinities in the show. I've debated with multiple people who think Type 4 multiverse means that one universe has infinite universes inside of it, even though we saw the prime universe from the outside, and we could see its edge, as well as other universes in the same space as it, proving it not only is not infinite, but the other universes that exist aren't even inside it.
Time Travel: Time travel is possible with the power ring, though the further forward in time a ring wielder travels, the more willpower it takes. How many times have we heard a character say: "No. I can't go out like this/ Die." Right before, you know, dying? "Oh. You right. You're immortal now bc you said you couldn't die."
Screw Attack: The Omnitrix can literally and INSTANTLY save Ben from death by choosing an ultimate form of protection according to the situation. Also Screw Attack: Except Scissors, against which there is no defense. Edit: Just so people understand, the Omnitrix is a failsafe to protect itself and its host, meaning that being forcibly separated from Ben constitutes a use of the failsafe. The Ink Tank explains it well in his analysis video.
A lot of us watched it on rooster teeth. The reasoning why they gave why alien x lost is stupid. The Fail-Safe on the Omnitrix would have stopped Green lantern cutting off his arm. Plus the sotobro effect would have activated and alien x would follow Hal Jordan into the past Hal Jordan power isn't infinite so at some point his ring would have been charged in it and isn't a instant recharge leaving him vulnerable And aliens like feedback would interacted with Green lantern's ring absorbing a lot of his power and constructs
also, alien x's clones are not shadow clones, they are actual functioning alien xs who can do the same things, also did i mention the omnitrix makes ben UNABLE to die.
@@mw38010 but its not controversial at all, if we compare feats plus since supes abilities differ issue to issue, it pretty impossible to get a decent fight. Goku yes has done some down right amazing things, but taking goku character into picture, hed want to fight supes at his strongest aka, I think its the golden version or the prime version of supes which if I remember has multiversal/omniversal feats wheres goku has at best universal, if going of current/ strongest version of Goku.

It would only really depend on the Omnitrix being able to copy the power he got from spending time in the sun. This would be a fun character to pit him against in a rematch.
Don't use author statements for Ben 10. They can't even agree with each other, and some things they say straight up make no sense with what the show tells you
They said that Ben could only use 1 alien at a time, About they didn't even talk about or even take into account BEN 10 THOUSAND where he can fuse 2 aliens together.
Also, Alien X is powerful enough (thanks to the sotabro effect) to detect Hal going back in time. He could have followed him back and the fight wouldn't end there.

We've also never seen THIS version of Green Lantern go back in time. On top of that he would have to time travel outside of his Universe. Because Ben 10 relies on Multiverse theory. He would kill one Ben but not the one that he was fighting.
I think the reason they didn't let Alien X erase GL is because him being able to erase people was just a statement and wasn't actually shown, but considering he can recreate an entire universe, erasing one person by blinking wouldn't be that much of a stretch.

Not only that he could have stopped it if he wanted to but at the time he still had to discuss with the other 2 personalities which means he has to come to a decision before doing anything. Alien X> Atomic X due to the dna from Atomix weakening a celestialsapian. Same with Ben, Alien X could never truly be all powerful”omnipotent” with Ben’s dna holding X back.

But that excuse falls flat when they did the second one featuring SSB which is a canon form created and written by Akira toriyama. Yes that is true. For the original Omnitrix. But not for Alien Force or Ultimate Alien. Or even Omniverse. The Omnitrix updated itself in Alien Force so it doesn’t need a recharge, and fixes any or all DNA corruption of the user or others around him (Long range restoration take a lot out of it and it needs to recharge)
When Ben fought the Hybreed, he used that exact feature to save them. Wow, it’s like you didn’t care to look into whether or not he lost this weakness.

After that, azmuth gave him the official omnitrix which was superior to the prototype he found in the ground
there was also a conversation between paradox and azmuth that tells us (and ben, kevin, and guen in the same room, lol) that it was paradox who convinced azmuth to send ben the omnitrix to begin with.

Chinayush Wasnik It’s not even a weapon. It’s a peacekeeping device. Ben wasn’t even doing anything destructive until Hal attacked him. That’s like attacking someone for holding a peach treaty because they can choke someone with it.
While intended as a peacekeeping device, it's quite probably recorded more recently as a weapon.
@@k64speed Considering the Galvan race is known throughout most of the universe, the Guardians would know of the Omnitrix, and the ring would know it's a device for peace, and that the one wielding it uses it to protect Earth.
Also, since Alien X appears, it means that Ben should be a 16 year old famous superhero, but since he's ten years old, This death battle makes no sense, and really doesn't work.

You seem to be deliberately misunderstanding me. The ring can't kill. That's not a moral code like Superman doesn't kill. The weapon is not fit for purpose. You can't kill anything with a Green Lantern ring, just like nobody can kill Superman with a sun lamp. You need the Deus Ex Machina to LET a Green Lantern kill. The power they have is inherently non-lethal. Using your logic, I can kill God with a soup spoon because "me not killing god with a soup spoon" doesn't work for Death Battle. You've ignored that a soup spoon isn't a valid tool for killing gods. And a Green Lantern ring isn't a valid tool for killing anything. Meaning that Ben has access to a bunch of aliens that can kill as part of his powers. And as part of his powers, Green Lantern has absolutely no way to kill at all and overseers actively preventing it. Green Lantern is forced to lose, because the only way the battle CAN end is with the other side killing him, since it CAN'T end with him killing. He doesn't have that power.

It wouldn’t even get to that point because the Omnitrix could’ve transformed into Feedback, which would’ve rendered all of Hal’s attacks useless (he’s immune to light attacks), or Upgrade who could’ve taken over the ring (the ring is tech base first and foremost)

A few things: One, the omnitrix is connected to Ben, even when it's separated from him physically. Two, it does everything it can to defend Ben at all times, that should pretty obviously include scissors. Three, Alien X has been shown to have the ability to interrupt reality manipulation by fellow Celestialsapiens, it would make sense that it could do the same to Hal Jordan's time travel. Also, pretty sure Alien X could see what Hal was about to do coming from a mile away, just by virtue of being completely busted.

He didn't reverse the blast, hence why the blast itself doesn't come back and neither does the bomb. It's also not scalable for Clockwork for that exact same reason as well. It was through time manipulation, not overpowering the explosion. Hence why the transformation failsafe didn't kick in for anyone.

So even with the fail safe, it's hard to argue Ben would win when Hal can do all I've stated above, and that's not even the craziest stuff he's done

Alien X's power/durability in the video was accepted as Universal with some contention and, if I recall, FTL speed. Outside of it, you could argue anywhere from 26 - infinite dimensional (for example, a 4th-dimensional being is beyond infinitely stronger than the third, so yeah, crazy) with possibly Immeasurable speed.
Hal in this vid was placed at infinite multiversal with MFTL+ speed - one feat even being the fastest non-infinite speed feat in DB. Outside?...yeah, Hal commonly faces beings comparable to the likes Darkseid, Mr Mxy, Nekron and beyond. All being infinite-dimensional at the lowest and, at the highest, so far beyond infinite dimensions that the notion is akin to fictional - as well as having Immeasurable speeds and way to speed up too.
Paired with that? Hal also just resists all of Alien X's best hax and can negate or surpass any resistance with his own abilities. The Green Lantern ring doesn't just make willpower constructs, it allows the user to warp the fabric of reality, it's closer to an on-hand wishing device rather than a creation kit.
So yes, Hal DOES win, albeit it was debated poorly.

The fight animation is just a fun way to show the result! They just didn't want to show Hal travelling back and killing a pre-Omnitrix Ben! It's countably infinite, and would just be baseline multiversal. Ben 10 powerscalers try to back this up by stating how the verse has quantum mechanics and string theory, and thus, the verse has an outerversal csomology but those are never even explored. We only get a few references to them in 1 or 2 throwaway lines. We don't even know how Ben 10 uses these concepts. There's no evidence they are treated as higher infinities in the show.
I've debated with multiple people who think Type 4 multiverse means that one universe has infinite universes inside of it, even though we saw the prime universe from the outside, and we could see its edge, as well as other universes in the same space as it, proving it not only is not infinite, but the other universes that exist aren't even inside it.

I think the reason they didn't let Alien X erase GL is because him being able to erase people was just a statement and wasn't actually shown, but considering he can recreate an entire universe,
erasing one person by blinking wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
