As you know, streamers often put a lot of time into their set ups and streams and their investments of time and money often go unnoticed to those who don't understand. So hyped! Ill definitely fix my camera and my wiring is a headache lol. I was running those wires down and I drilled a hole through the wall to the next room where I have an entire room with a projector and VR with the Valve Index but that's a whole other story.

I would like to see more of this content. 1) You approached everyone you tackled with sincerity and professionalism. 2) You were to the point and informative. Very efficient and effective with your delivery. 3) I was able to, with ease, glean enough useful information to make this a very productive endeavor. 4) Your critique was fun, informative. That second setup was is SO clean. I try to keep my setup like that, simple but next thing you know I'm placing things on top and it just gets cluttered lmaoo. I have to clear things off once a week. Plus the background on his stream is so simple and clean as well. Personally I hate seeing streamers with so much clunk, trash, unnecessary things, dirty laundry on the floor and a mess of a room. Something about it idk....
I definitely get stressed out when I see a mess. Even in movies, if a character has a messy home, I get stressed out by the _fictional_ mess. I think it's because my parents were messy. Now, I love "visual interest"-that's a different thing entirely. I guess it comes down to whether something _looks_ careless. If someone has put a little thought into their room-if they put their anime posters into frames or whatever-people pick up on that, and it makes the streamer seem a little more credible.
Would love to see more of these.... It's great for showing example's of different what to do & what not to do (eg. your description about the lighting angles)
When Harris was talking about camera settings for the last guy's camera he messed up the shutter speed. When you set your shutter speed for video you normally want it to be double your frame rate. Example 24fps = 1/50, 30fps = 1/60, 60fps = 1/125, etc.
Harris usually tells people to set it 1/30 for 30 fps or 1/60 for 60 fps because there is not a ton of movement happening on streams that would cause crazy motion blur, but you're right, in general those are the correct settings for shooting video.
You can now add "Stream SETUP doctor" on your resume as well 😁 I think these kind of videos are useful (and funny in a way, I mean 7 monitors... Really? Who does that? 😂😂) and some tips can be drawn from them. I really enjoyed your video! 🤟
I fell down this rabbit hole when.... shit I don’t even remember what I first searched to end up on this channel. But MY GUY, hella dope content. You’ve got my sub!

This was a great video! You should do more! A note on shutter speed. If you want your camera to look right and correct with the fps coming out of obs or whatever, make sure it's 2x your framerate.
