I have been a barber for almost 50 years. Very rarely do I have a client ask what kind of hairstyle would look good on them. Just about all my clients want short (fade) haircuts. I think I have the perfect haircut, I have been shaving my head daily for almost 40 years. I am BBC(bald by choice)
The barber 💈 knows there Job well better than anyone else. They will know what type of Hairstyles would be fit to their clients (how they adjust when they start cutting ✂️ the Hair ), Sometimes clients would argue when they result is not what they expected (u can't blame the barber). For men Suite /Casual attire and Hairstyles what Women makes an Impression. Like we our own Haircut the we are Comfortable with all these years, but u want to try step out from ur Comfort Zone, Being Unfamiliar is differ from being Uncomfortable with Hairstyles. I would prefer the look that is Formal, bcoz Women see and read Guys mind through there "Eyes" 👀.
Hi Antonio, I am 72 years old, have a full head of dark wavy hair (lucky for sure!), and my stylist likes to leave it long all around, I simply brush when, wet, run my fingers thru it when its almost dry and poof!! Not sure if this is a style but it works for me. Thanks for what you do!!
I have an oblong oval faceshape and a receding hairline 🙃 tried the French crop recently and it wasn't too bad. Alot better than the quiff I was attempting to keep however I'm screwed when it comes to old money hairstyles since most of them are longer flowy styles which are the worst nightmare for a receding hairline
@@RealMenRealStyle what is the limit of length difference between each facial measurement? for example if for the cheekbones we have 5.2 cm and for the forehead and jaw 4.9, do we consider that it is a square or diamond face given that there is only 0.3 difference? good to you
I have a inverted triangle and have actually started to grow it out about bit. The swept back is starting to shape and I really like it. Gotten a few compliments to which is nice.
I have a diamond facial shape and I can only get away with hairstyles that focuses on volume because my hair isn't straight as well and yes, no short haircuts for me. Thanks a lot Antonio this helps a lot.
I’ve pretty much always had my short or very short. I went grey in my early thirties and had a short flattop when they were fashionable. My crown is now thinning badly. Rather than hide it, I’ve gone back to the flattop with a high and tight back and sides. It suits my head shape better than a buzz cut and I clipper shave the back and sides hit up - looks rather like a horseshoe flattop now. I see very few flattops here in the UK nowadays but don’t care. And I’ve been cutting my own hair for years - just can’t find a good barber who cuts my hair as I want it.
@@buzzukfiftythree finding a good barber that does it the way you want to is tricky sometimes or even most times. What I struggle with mostly is getting my hair to stay where I want it. I can't get away with a side fringe or a classic side part what I can only work with is a center parting style.
I'm about midway between square and round. For me, though, I've been rocking a shaved head - so no hairstyle - for over 40 years. I absolutely love it and with my fairly close cropped beard on the sides (about 3/8 inch), longer on my chin (about 5/8 inch) and a well trimmed mustache.... this look has gotten me loads of compliments over the years. True - it was quite an uncommon look in the 1980's when I started it and has become more common but I was never a man who needed to follow the crowd. And, gents, my hairstyle is as worry and care free as it gets! It is important though, in my opinion, to put some moisturizing stuff on the scalp. It has kept this 60+ year old man looking a bit younger... not a bad thing!
My face is an oval shape overall. But I have a pointier chin, so a little bit of diamond. Just cut my hair into a longer side part, and it's looking great for me

My hairstyle, which I have had since my youth, is called the Renger hairstyle, which is only a few millimeters long and then I let it grow to normal. I have to do this between rounds, as the type of hair I have is called European hair, which means that my hair becomes thick and dense. This makes it more difficult to remove the shampoo and the scalp does not breathe properly, creating sores on the scalp. Also, if I let my hair grow too much, it gets curly and the cap doesn't stay on my head.
I’m growing my hair out and I’m in my 40’s and always shaved my head since I was in my 20’s but I have a really bad calic in the front so what hair style would be good?
I alternate between a 6mm sides and neck fade with longer hair on top that I can style by choice of parted, side or back. Otherwise just a plain short style with instructions to make it look modern but requires no effort to style. Then just the half grown look that you pull back because it still has some structure and shape but wont look good any other way.
