I understand that the full face geometry is kind of what everyone goes to, but I've always wondered about matching cuts for profile, 2/3, and 2/4 angles, and how that also factors into your thought process as a barber.
What do you mean by matching cuts for profile?

Hi, I just discovered you guys today and I've been reading the comments and watching your shorts, I got to say I got a little excited to learn more about what kind of haircut I could get since I'm trying to switch things up with my style. I'd like to genuinely ask if you guys could make a video explaining why your haircuts are so expensive maybe compared to other barber shops? Maybe educate us on why things are changing in the industry when it comes to the price tag ($80-$195 before tips) for getting a good haircut if you could so that people are not so skeptical. I don't think beards get talked about enough on how they can alter a face shape. I have a heart face shape and skin fades look ok on me. But recently I've grown in a fuller beard and it kinda squares out my perceived face shape and skin fades look even better on me now.
have you tried the good 'ol fashioned goatee? Works for a lot of face shapes, at least for my diamond face shape, I think...

I'm finding for me personally that I dont quite know what my face shape is but using my drivers license photo gives a better look at how its actually shaped. I never really liked my face shape so I see myself with a prefered shape and not what it actually is and most photos I take try and hide the non preferred parts.

I've been going to the same barber my entire life and the dude gives me the same perfect haircut each time.
never thought about hair in relation to face shape. had no idea what my face shape was. after watching this video i am definitely a heart shape and lately I haven't liked my hairstyle that ive been going with pretty much the past 5 years. Sure enough it was the slick back, showing off my big heart shaped forehead too much. And sure enough, the hairstyle I randomly switched to on accident one day that i like and now been using, is the middle pard you mentioned to try. great video, glad understand the structure to why my hair looks better this way.

i have a round face and i have gotten a buzz cut and yeah i agree it does make the roundness pop out more but i can still see the roundness even with a longer hairstyle. I stil got complimented by people (also women) with a very short buzz cut (3-6mm). Important here is that i got strong facial features so that definitely helps :p

Wideest point is cheekbones but for head narrows out much more than chin, so I end up looking like an egg any time i get a short trim 😐

it's way too hard to tell what face shape I truly have, front it look quite oval but my both side profiles are legit 2 different persons and face shapes. The one looks longer and rounder/softer and the other like a square and tiny/not as high or long as the other (even if I swap my hair left or right to reveal the corner of the forehead on a side). Legit like 2 different persons. Saw it on pictures and it blew my mind. Never seen it on others like this extreme. You could always tell on others yea that's still the same person, but you wouldn't recognize me if I turn the other side lol. So how do I figure out what to do with it in terms of what shape and cut if it's this weird?
Edit: ok If I'm truly just going from front view I think I've the heart shape, bigger and wider forehead but the 2 recommended hairstyles don't work on me (anymore) because of my receeding hairline that's quite deep and the corners also become thinner I feel like. my crown and everything is still fine but the front hair is not growing longer than like 10cm or so not even after a year of not cutting. The sides grow like crazy but that's it. And the hair that grow are also not as covering in the front for a fringe, especially at the corners. Impossible to do a fluffy fringe or any type of fringe or middle part with 2 long sides that are fully covering. Short hair was always my cryptonite my entire life, tried it a few times.. short overall extreme skin faded sides, full blown buzz but it was always the worst time of my life for sure. But then it seems like just because of thinning corners and a receding hairline I have no option anymore for a fresh hairstyle for my face shape. Gotta have to keep it raw and ugly I guess
