      Galaxy M21 launched at ₹12,999
After GST increased from 12% to 18% on mobile phones Samsung decided to actually decrease pricing because of tough competition from chinese brands like Redmi & Realme
      The price became ₹12,699
But from this month when everyone started this boycott china trend and people started promoting Samsung everywhere they increased the price to ₹13,499 Just 6 days ago!
Because they know in this situation Indian people will buy anything which is non chinese even if it's expensive!
And now Samsung is looting us 😡

most smartphones are actually made in china, but buying from non-chinese brands like Samsung and Apple won't actually help the chinese economy even for a bit, the tax will go to your country, the amount you have paid (excluding taxes from your country) will go to the brand and its county of origin (if you buy Samsung, most of the money will go to South Korea but not even 5% will go to China)

    • @nikdrive7695

Problem is mid range, where Redmi, Realme rule. Since most number of phone buyers who purchase mid range phones. They have to provide legit prices without cutting on the hardware. I'm sorry, but no one would give extra 6-7 k for the same specification they're getting in a Chinese phone.

ATM I am using ASUS. I tend to agree they have rather nice handphones but its so difficult to find an outlet that sell their batteries once your old ones start to die off ( around 1year plus ). At the end I have to go to their sole agent and even then have to wait for a week to get it. What about you guys in India you got problem getting their batteries or spares?

Can't believe there is not a single decent Indian Smartphone company... A $ 3 trillion Economy with 1.3 billion population, providing market of almost 600 M mobile phone users still not a single homegrown smartphone manufacturer. Time for Indian entrepreneurs, Investors & Innovators to come together & seize the opportunity.

Basic mistake Motorola is a American because Nationality of a company doesn't changes. If you have to Change the nationality of a company then you have to dissolve each and every patents, Trade license of Motorala. And start a completely new company with separate nationality ISIN. But in case of Motorala non of the things have happened. And Lenovo is only the share holder of Motorala. And also Lenovo only have license to only 2000 Patents of Motorola out of total 17,500 patents of Motorala. And Motorola itself has a American ISIN. So Motorola is a American Subsidiary Company and Lenovo is only it's parent company currently holding all the share of Motorala, I hope you understand my point :-). If you have confusion then refer the topic of Foreign ownership.

Boss you have not talked about pure indian brands like Lava and Micromax. I am telling only these two because these have make a significant break through in india in smartphone with lot of models. Apart from this there are other models are also there like Karbonn, Celkon, spice but those are very negligible. But there are lot of very light users in indian market and those people can comfortably buy either "Lava or Micromax"

    Till Q4 2019 fiscal year , Xiaomi has 27% market share , Vivo 21% , Oppo 12% , Realme 8% , only Samsung has 19% which is non-chinese , others are just 13% (Including apple, & rest ).
With 68% market share , to get rid of this Chinese mobile manufacturers is really tough.

In 2014,2015 Samsung and micromax had 30 % and 20% share of the mobile market . But they lost their ground completely after 2016.

Whether is a Chinese company or not we have to admit the fact that most of the electronic items are made in China. Nowadays they say it was made in India but it was just assembling.
Personally I don't know how you can compare OnePlus phones to Samsung A series and you cannot expect those quality in mid range phones, OnePlus make high end phones with less price(not correct based on latest).

Great Video bro. Only thing I am not happy about is inclusion of Apple in non-Chinese list. Apple procures most of its components from China and assembles everything there. So is the case with Nokia.

    • @rishavjaiswal2204
      @rishavjaiswal2204 4 года назад

Sachin D. Anchan ya right bro but apart from that we have to accept that China is a smartphone manufacturing giant of the world. So even if we buy smartphone of any company we will get components made in China installed in that phone.

I think only Nokia and Asus can win through this...Its a huge opportunity for them to attract consumers..Nokia and Asus haven't launched any smartphone since a year..I am using Nokia 8.1 and its so good..except for the notch...I purchased this device for a long run as Nokia is the only brand which provides guranteed monthly updates for 3 years..Pure,Secure and upto date.

Unfortunately the situation is Nokia and Apple are non chinese brand but they manufacturer their products in China, which help chinese economy. And Chinese brand like Realme, Xiaomi, motorola are manufacturing their phone in India, which help some Indian economy, by providing jobs for Indians. So literally we cant bycott china, unless the manufacturer shift their production unit outside China.
