One invention we need is a way to mute the incessant music at the school of RUclips, so we can learn without obstruction and not run off quick to another video.
The most useful thing is the swiming pool fire fighting system; as when a fire covers a large area; the combination of firefighters and homeowners tapping into the local water supply can cause the pressure to drop. As long as this pump system has power; you are good to go.
11:46 Survive-A-Storm Maybe it's because I'm from Western New York, but... All I can think is it looks like one of the barrels people used to go over Niagara Falls in.
if you're going to go through all that effort to dig out drainage and put those plastic cube structures down, why wouldn't you connect it to cisterns or pipe it to gray water pipes for use in irrigation or refiltration?
This might make sense on larger stretches like roadways through low-lying flood plains to keep the water off the surface until the road can be safely closed. It would require permeable paving material as well to allow the water to flow down through the system. Here in Toronto areas like the Don Valley Parkey could be good Candidates as they have recently had several feet of water fil the area and flood motorists while they are transiting through the area during the storm.
The roof idea is incredibly stupid. You would have to know that hail is on its way and have at least an hour or two to deploy the system. You also need to allocate time to retract and remove the system. A crew of four to six people and a supervisor are required as well. Other than hail I see no value in this for another type of incident. tornadoes, forest fires and hurricanes are not suitable environments for this product either. It's also UGLY!
Need to make those type of pod things in case of major flooding where youre in a shelter after a tsunami and 20+ft underwater with your family and pets. I need to patent my idea
Roof Protector that's a pretty useless item to have on you house! oh look a storm is coming lets jump on the roof and put the tarp ( Sail ) on in a strong wind lol
Exactly maybe if there was a hole in the roof but moderate winds would just pull off those supports with little effort and now you have more damage and a bigger mess
New products are amazing, but difficult or impossible to recycle. Sand, gravel, concrete, steel, aluminum, wood and glass are the best resources we've got. EVERTHING goes to shit (landfill) at some point.
Hey, let’s not build on stone but on sand… But if it’s too close to the coast, let’s fill our bodies with micro plastics to divert groundwater because some people that caused their own problems deserve to be protected more. I’ll give you it’s clever and effective, but FFS. By all means let’s focus on the way people can keep massive mansions on a Damocles sword. How many tens of thousands will be much like the Doggerland people? Well when they come for many parts of the central south, they might have to head toward the hills and the rich people are not going to like what they find when real people find a way 😅😂😂😂
The fire resistant siding is a joke; as there us siding and even paints that can last 3 hours, not to mention roof orotection that lasts as long if not longer.

Roof thing would blow away in my area
The plastic water barrier isn't just more durable; it takes less time to set up than waiting for the water to fill the other one.
lol the roof thing
Agreed the roof cover, it would be gone in the first real wind, which happens alone or with rain, etc.
@@survidmtand lots of roof holes from the screws
Well, that’s 20 minutes I’ll never get back. Ridiculous.

Yeah, but other than that it sounds great!
It’s a sail. It’ll just sail away with the roof.
Wow @ 1:41, my first thought in my head was Pacifica CA. Before it was pylons driven into the earth
12:09 That's Ryan Hall Y'All. He has much more sense than this, so that particular shelter is likely legit.
most of the spikes are actually designed for keeping pigeons off. Weve had them on out building since 2005.
Those carbon window covers seem great...until your house catches fire and you can't get out.
You are still allowed to use the doors.
A thief could just go through the window above them

Fun fun 😄
Way to pimp useless fear to the masses. I hope mom's proud.
The eco blocks you can also just use milk crates do the same thing maybe for personal smaller yards or project's
Everyone needs spikey stairs

6:23 or… 💡… don’t build in a flood plain. Who knew?? 😮
I get horror movie vibes from the hot tub cover, maybe a final destination death.
Those plastic blocks for draining... so uh... in about 10-20 years, and age has made that plastic brittle. Is it just gonna collapse?
Something similar was used on that parking lot in Williamsburg,VA that caught fire and burned for a week.
A roof for yoir roof... wtf!? I coukd see maybe if it helped woth forest fires to protect your house

Roof Cover- ridiculous

Dirt locker…..doesn’t take much effort or time? Who you kidding? GTFO

What about the Haliburton Survavaball?

The new math: 1 = 0 comments. They were not sponsored by Ytong (in USA Aircrete). The woodblocks resist 1000 bullets, but not 1000 termites.
Spikes are not ingenious, they’re cruel. The spinning mirrored post that scares the birds is ingenious. Anyway you posted spikes, so I’m blocking you
Lol wow. Low tolerance much?😂
9:17 why would you live somewhere where all this crap is necessary?
Please stop the terrible music
Is the thumb nail even in the video at all? I can't seem to find the spikes part
10:24
@davidsthank you. He had me worried lol ymington6046
Those thumbnails create an informational "itch" sometimes... You just have to know what it was about...
Fallout cylinder shelter
erm wattesigma
the sigma
I dont trust any of these
Sounds like WATOP guy @watop
