- In the past I've regularly powder coated a handful of aluminum items but haven't yet tried to mark anything with the 20w fiber laser. Here's the first attempt along with the settings used.
Hello, what do you think of the Raycos brand, 30 watts, knowing that I am a starter or 50 watts
I’m getting some 1/8” aluminum plates made for 12v light switches. I will need to label the switches…I’m looking for an affordable, easy to use (I’m novice), that can quickly label the panels. Any recommendations? I like what you have…not sure what it costs or how easy it is to use. I don’t know anything about lasers.
Hmmm. So it's less white if you apply more power?
Hi I’m looking to do this on an aluminum 2x8 hoping to put a company name and logo on it but 6 feet long would be amazing but maybe can only afford a small one to do 6inch by 6 inch . Any suggestions what I would need ? All the materials are pretty long is the problem
Thanks for the vids about fiber, very interesting!
Do you know if 20W can cut through 0.3mm steel sheet without burning the edges?
That would be within the spec, but I haven't tried it.
is the result different if you have these angles different??
Wow Im impressed.
Hello, what do you think of the Raykos brand, 30 watts, knowing that I am a beginner
I would like to do some engraving on powder coat at home, do you think it is possible to do on a 3000mw cheap DIY laser kit????
I've never tried it, but some of the cheaper CO2 lasers should be able to handle it.
Very interesting... appears to me :
Speed: 200mm/s
Power: 70%
Freq: 20 KHz
Hatch: 45, 135 Degrees, 0.05mm spacing
Comments: The one that is more white
Is the best looking of these tests.
Do you do your own powder coating?
Yes, I did this powder coating. I tend to put it on a little thin compared to the shops who do it for a living. My thickness is probably something like .005".
Thank you !
I like your jigs. What screw size are you using?
The screws are M6x1.0. I shared the models of the newest ones I'm using in the description to the video here if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/nHFIjonPOL0/видео.html
Dude! Don`t remove the dust with your fingers! The partikels are so small they can go in your bloodstream.. No kidding, i work with lasers.
is there a technical bulletin about this? Just want to learn
Excelent Job
Can this cut through aluminum?
If it's very thin, yes. I believe the max is about 0.3mm (many passes). I made a video about cutting a hole in 1mm stainless if you want to check it out.
What brand of laser are you using?
It's a Chinese laser purchased from eBay. The first video I made on this channel is about it.
@@jefferyjJust bought the same one. You're videos have helped a lot. Keep it up!
