You are right that many people are drawn more to negative news and that’s why many reporters only report negative stories and make wild guesses. As you said it is important to check more than one news source. And we all need to remember that volcanoes are unpredictable and even the experts don’t know for sure what will happen next. We always forget how much the poor animals are affected by events like this. Thank you for helping to take care of them.
To many people are suffering because of the animals!?...what about abortion and homosexuality etc that offend God , and stir His wrath, if various apparitions of Virgin Mary are true, we could see many more eruptions around the world and ash that could cause world wide hunger and starvation, if man will cause more wars, God could cut us off at the pass and bring his wrath down upon us in his own way. Amen.
Spot on reporting! Keeping it real, no one can predict volcanos. We can hope it's on its way to stopping. Even when it does they can't predict its truly ended for some days after. I've heard 90 days.

They look like a form of skink, but I'm no expert on reptiles

It is very good that no one has been personally, physically harmed by the volcano eruption. The more difficult thing to assess is the emotional and psychological harm, both now and in years to come. The Palmeros will need much assistance to regain equiliibrium in all areas of their lives.

thank you for sharing the lizards. I met very friendly lizards on Madeira, I assume they are somewhat related.
Seeing you feed the small 🦎 lizards by hand was pretty cool 😎. Here in Florida USA we have similar small lizards 🦎 ourselves called gecko, when I'm sitting outside my home, as long as I sit still they will climb on me and sit, and if a fly 🪰 or other bug lands on me they will eat them.

Please report on the massive amounts of ash that have caused so many to be homeless now. I watched a video and I’ve never seen anything like it. People’s homes completely submerged in ash and these people have nowhere to go. Maybe reporting on it could get them some help. Thanks for all you do!
@SoZo He has shown the ash videos and also reported on the help people are getting. The government bought several homes already and are currently building new ones in another area of the island.
if the air is bothering your eyes to the point you need to wear goggles, then you MUST WEAR THE MASK! It's far more important to keep that same ash out of your lungs!
