Thank you Bushcraft Bear for showing us the human side of this. When I watch live streams many people are excited and intrigued by the eruption purely as a geological phenomenon and at times spectacular display. It's good to be reminded of how this is affecting people. Thoughts, prayers and much love to you and all the inhabitants of La Palma, especially those who have lost everything. 💗🙏🏼

Your words are lovely and so true. We can get caught up in, at times, the eruption is amazing and a kind of beauty. A tornado can be exceptionally beautiful, but look at the destruction they can cause. I’m praying for these people who have even lost the land their home was on! That’s pretty much everything! Thankyou for reminding us of the human aspect of this. God bless you and keep you. You have very wise words🙏🙏🙏❣️❤️❤️

@TheMamgusian : Good live streams showing the eruptions and HUGE amounts of lava flowing are geologically interesting, fine to see, and it is educational, but this also provides a very serious idea of how badly intense the situation is, or certainly has been since September 19th on the island of La Palma ; and being able to see this does help to understand how bad the catastrophy has been, as well as continues to be, for the most affected inhabitants of the island. It provides a fuller "picture" of the whole situation. We can then have no doubt about there being over 7,000 inhabitants who had to abandon their homes, temporarily and, for some, maybe for a very LONG time. Very good close-up footage is an aid in education.

Your kindness and sensitivity toward your fellow islanders is so touching. I like how you cite your sources of information, and using a map of the island is extremely helpful in following the activity of the volcano and flow of lava. I wish all news reporters would follow your example. Thank you for taking so much time in keeping us informed. Stay safe. Blessings to you and the residents of La Palma.
