Me too, I came here after today's Symphony of the Goddesses streaming out of nostalgia and I'm still bawling my eyes out at that point, ahah! Love it how it both is a reference to the original music and how we actually heard it in our heads back in the day.
This ending staff roll song is the PERFECT adaptation. It has the vision, it has the heart and the passion, beautifully composed, gives me chills every time. It sounds exactly like what the original wanted to be if it could. Can't change my mind.
I remember being a kid and beating links awakening over and over again on the Game Boy just so I could hear the credits music again. Now I just have RUclips and it can be done in less than a minute.
@@the_best_saiyan8448 Marin and Malon are two different characters. Malon in Ocarina of Time was made to look like Marin as a reference to Link's Awakening.
Secret ending shows you she doesn't quite disappear with the dream. In the original, you couldn't die if you wanted to see it. Don't know how to unlock it in the remakes.
The credits theme from this game makes me cry almost every time I hear it. Every note in it seems to say, "What an adventure we had! But every story has to end some time!"
I couldn't stop smirking when the old 8-bit ending theme played. I got a little teary eyed too, I ain't gonna lie especially having played it as a little kid. They did the ending theme so much justice.
Even now, having listened to it SO many times since first beating the game, when it transitions to the 8-bit Gameboy music at the end, I get *massive* goosebumps. Give me literal chills. Once of the most powerful music transitions I've ever heard.
@@KeoTheCupcake Me too. That bit IMMEDIATELY takes me back to the feeling of being a 9 year-old with a Game Boy! Now my kids play and love these games.
Every time I listen to this soundtrack, I come close to crying. This was the game that got me started in The Legend of Zelda, and remains one of my all-time favorites to this day. I'm actually working on a Let's Play of the DX version for Game Boy on an emulator, and I intend to keep going until I finish the best Game Boy Zelda game of all time.

I absolutely LOVE the subtle nods to the Game Boy in this soundtrack! Hearing those 8bit chimes and Jingles invokes so much nostalgia for me personally. All around exceptional remake!
@@ninjafrog6966 I'm pretty sure they meant the _entire_ soundtrack, not just this track. The Game Boy tracks play underneath many of the themes, especially in the dungeons.
“Don’t be sad that it’s gone, be happy that it happened”
The jump at 3:27 from the chipper 8 bit to the full bombast of the orchestra gets me every time.

Not to mention it also has snippets from the gameboy version in it
Couldn't agree more!
Completely agree with you

That Marin Chant makes you sad she’s gone.Absolute banger that hits the soul

I played this game 12 years ago and when I heard this, nostalgia hit me like a truck
Big fan of the heroic, grand, and orchestral sound of the theme and end credit music
i have missed this in the switch titles lol, bomb ass tracks
I was fine during the credits. But seeing the seagull and knowing who it was made me cry..
It was happy, a little melancholic, and never has sitting through the credits felt so much like a privilege

In the secret ending you can save her (sorta)

The change at 8 bits blow my heart❤😭
That's the OG chiptune too - very nice touch..
Same. Got a lil emotional when I heard it the first time beating the remake.
I cry every time... EVERY DAMNED TIME!!! Still having the OG Gameboy game and being the first of my friends who ever beat it... tugs at the memories.

"Subtle"
*litterally has 2 entire passages entirely done in 8 bit*
Subtle? Bruh, the ending theme literally has 2 whole snippets of the gameboy version’s theme. It’s hardly subtle

Always have loved the "Staff Credits" rolls
Every Zelda game always this melancholy feeling
That was BEAUTIFUL! BRAVO! I swear, video game music is the best! ❤
3:27 is glorious
The saddest yet one of the best Zelda games
I can’t imagine how sweaty links hands must be from carrying around his weapons all the time
Just off the top of my head this and the one from Wind Waker are my favorite Zelda staff roll music.
always will be my favorite game ever.
great song love this me and my daughter plat this. brings a tear to my eye
Indeed it dose
The 8-bits part is a sucker punch... They're trying to make us cry or something?! 😢
The single best end credits music ever.
What an Amazing rendition. Just Wow
I'm not crying 😢 you're crying 😢
Sadder than majora's mask imo
Who would’ve thought that such a tiny game could pack such a punch?
Links Awakening is honestly in my top 3 zelda games, maybe top 2
For me it's top 1. Just beautiful.
If this song doesn’t play as the credits theme in the Zelda movie, I don’t even know…
So how many of you Links awakening fans are getting Echos of Wisdom? 😉
Amazing
0:45 is giving Dragon Quest XI vibes
credits theme sounds very cheerful after link wiped out koholint
Farewell cocolinth
Koholint?
Beatifull 🤩🤩🤩
Only for this sweet remake it was 60 euros well spend. Fuck this is good.
Anyone else think this version has a little bit of a John Williams vibe to it? Sort of reminiscent of his work in the Indy movies?
Straight-up sounds like a fanfare to the end of a Disney film. Complementary, of course.

There isn’t a better end theme in gaming
I would honestly switch to RUclips or Apple music if they have this. I can’t seem to find this on Spotify anyone else know where?
Is there a violin sheet music for this?
