A suite of music from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
This is the first track of the second disc of the The Legend of Zelda: Concert 2018. It is a live performance album recorded on December 14, 2018 at the Tokyo Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, Japan. It was officially released in 2019.

TheInspirationalMind OH! As to how I have been---My health is giving me a lot of trouble, and I've got quite a bit of homework for college. However, the sun has been shining soooo much, and yesterday I got to watch Into the Spiderverse with my friends so I'd say things are pretty good on my end! Perhaps not great but I'm makin it!
Into the Spiderverse was my favorite film of last year!!! Everything about it was perfection! I pre-ordered the Blu-ray 😅

TheInspirationalMind it was my favorite too!! I watched it twice in theatres, and wanted to see it more but no one would drive me there 😂 I haven't preordered it but I'm planning to buy it as soon as it hits stores.

Spring is bittersweet to me because I LOVE the colors but loAthE getting bugs all in my bed and house. Alas, I'll be happy to see fireflies again.

I can't be the only one who gets brought to tears when I hear that last trace of the ballad before link wakes up as well as the first part of the staff roll. the remaster truly revived a classic in the best way. I might not like the chibi art style during the game but the end scenes were absolutely beautiful.

The Song of Awakening is the most hauntingly beautiful song in all of Zelda games!

The very first theme is the tune that plays just before koholint disappears I’m pretty sure
This game tends to evoke very bittersweet feelings of nostalgia and loss (due to the setting and especially the ending), and no song better captures these feelings than the house theme at 3:38. I think this interpretation is probably more faithful to the original game's rendition, which was simple but conveyed so much in its simple melody, which the remake sadly loses.
I disagree, this interpretation is not faithful to the original track. The original track is very “plucky” and cutesy, and the remake effectively recreates the effect and feeling. This interpretation is absolutely outstanding- so lush with its harmonies and modulations, new melodic material, and obviously greatly expanded scoring. The original and remake jus do not do it for me- at least in conveying the ideas you presented.

The house theme evokes the exact same feelings to me. However I'm not a huge fan of this interpretation. To me, the best interpretation of the original is the cover by Wurtzel, which you can find here on RUclips. It captures this bittersweet feeling of nostalgia and very much reminds me of the heartbreaking scene of the "ghost" quest.

11 mins doesn't do this game's music justice, you're better off listening to the "Second Narrators" version which came out in 2014, that composer orchestrated the entire soundtrack.
