First off you had me screaming with laughter my friend. This was hilarious please keep on making videos, but also my god?! What stew did this man make bc that certainly isnt curry?! Just because you add curry powder to something doesn't make it curry!
In fairness to GR, there are soooo many different types of curry from so many countries...Jamaica, Goa, Thailand, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. Even within India, there's so many regional variations. It MIGHT be that there is some place somewhere that makes curries like this? It is safe to say that this is definitely NOT a Punjabi curry! The technique is non-existent....more of a 'Wang a random selection of curry-ish ingredients together in no particular order, and then wonder why it doesn't taste like a restaurant curry" kinda dish. 10 mins isn't long enough for the flavours to develop and the oil to separate (only there was no oil!). I think this is probably a more British chef "curry inspired" dish, a bit like Coronation Chicken was. Guilty as charged here on the chopped tomatoes: I hate the smell/feel/taste of fresh tomatoes, so I tip a tin in at arm's length and try not to breathe too much. If it wasn't for my weird aversion to them, I'd use fresh. /

I made this dish from this exact video clip of Gordon Ramsey. It may not be a proper curry but I thought it was super delicious (I didn’t use that much salt though and I made it with rice and heated it for much longer than 10 minutes)
In as far as cooking more exotic food Gordon Ramsey is truly appalling. He is competent in cooking traditional western food and has a good experience of mediterranean cuisine. But as far as cooking Curry is concerned he is terrible.
These TV chefs and celebrities don't cook the best food.. look at Floyd ..hes past now but I enjoyed his programmes. .. I don't really get this channel... mans sitting there roasting chefs sitting in a 3 bed semi... allow that bro.. you can do better.. go to Asia and cook a Thai curry on TV.. them brothers will rinse you as well.. just cook mate .. let us see you make an authentic lamb chop curry .. show us your skills
