the whole process is key to truly seeing the work that goes into a custom, having it sped works well, kinda like an 80's TV montage lol, that's just my opinion. Fun build Jim, definitely enjoyed it
I know im two years late but im honestly glad you actually talk and explain in the video. Alot of videos are just a fully sped up video set to bad royalty free music and i personally prefer the vocal explanations
Thank you so much for watching! More recently I have been speeding some sections of videos up, but usually where they're repetitive actions, such as filing or sanding (which seems to go on forever sometimes lol). thanks again!
@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms I've recently got into watching die cast customizations and restorations, and want to get into the more post-apocalyptic custom side of it. So I enjoy videos that show the process and the creators who explain the different techniques and even recommend other creators that I can learn from.
Funny thing about your builds: even though you are showing us the entire process, I never see the end result coming! I am always surprised by how amazing they turn out! This one is especially good!
Thanks Son! The pieces are amazing...and free. With the way 3d printer prices have fallen (and trust me, I've got a cheapie), being able to print some of this stuff vs. buying parts makes it where the printer pays for itself pretty quickly.
Working up the courage to do a gaslands build Jim. Got a casting picked out working on printing some parts and guns. Got get some paints and I’ll be ready in the next week or 2 to move forward. Will post when it’s complete. Checking out your builds for inspiration. Thanks for posting some incredible builds. 👍👍👍
One thing I like to say about the gaslands style builds is to relax and have fun with them. The nice thing about them Mike is that even if something goes astray from what you expected, you can always make adjustments and get a great result. Unlike restorations or some customs where things like paint need to be somewhat "precise", there's much more flexibility with the gaslands builds. I always find them very relaxing to do...and I need to do more of them. Thanks so much for watching the channel!
I like when it's sped up. I like seeing the process, but obviously some isn't necessary and then there's some stuff that you're just unsure about lol. God I'd love to have a printer! So many uses for it. I like the clean engine too for gasland builds! Wow man 3d printed parts really make a difference! Absolutely love this custom sir.
Thank you so much! From all of the comments, it looks like I'll be doing the videos the same way as this one...so no changes. The 3d printer prices are so low now (trust me, I have a cheapie lol) that with all of the free files out there, they pay for themselves quickly when compared to some parts prices out there.

Some great ideas nonetheless, and your delivery Jim, is so natural and relaxing that no matter how frustrating any of my own builds become, I can regain perspective by watching one of your videos! Great work and fun!

Hey, Jim! I downloaded this so as to be able to watch it offline while I’m out in the sticks on vacation. I really how this one turned out. The camo effect was bang on. I’ll try that clay technique. And if the Lee Perry 3D parts came already supported, they must have been a delight to print. I think you nailed this one. Speeded up is OK with me! Big thumbs up from somewhere in the Austrian Alps - Andrew 🍁👊
Calling those Lee Perry parts a delight to print is an understatement -- if someone hasn't printed with a resin printer before, his parts would make an excellent first print attempt (much more so that the samples usually included with the printer lol). They show the detail possible and couldn't be any easier or more of a joy to use. Have a wonderful time on the rest of your vacation!
