    Hi, Ben! A 356 Outlaw! That flies! 😎 These are the things dreams are made of (for me, at least!). Once again your imagination, creativity and attention to detail is off the chain. It's a fabulous looking fantasy creation now. I love it. And, imagine my surprise to get a shout out, AND to learn that this one-of custom is coming my way to Switzerland! No way! You are a truly generous guy and I'm humbled by this gesture. Now, believe it or not, I just finished editing and uploading my next Fury Road Gaslands build, with a release date for Nov 6th. I gave you a shout out in that video - before seeing this - as a thank you for your inspiring builds. There's a distinctive BP Custom Creations move on that build that you can't miss. You don't need any endorsements from me for new subs 😂 but you've really been a great online pal and it's my little thank you. Love and peace from my house to yours! 🍁👊

    When you're using the fret saw (jewellers saw) you'll probably find it easier and get better results if you keep the saw vertical and move the work around it, not the other way around.

    Another video knocked out of the park! I think I'm going to start raiding my plastic kits for parts and decals. The stuff you're finding that just so happens to fit perfectly is ridiculous lol! I knew there had to be a use for airsoft BBs! I was going to use them as mines that could be deployed while being chased for my post apocalyptic build, but ran out of room. How did you avoid brush strokes when painting the body? These are so cool...I want to try one soon! Awesome job Ben!

    • @BPCustomCreations
      @BPCustomCreations  2 года назад +2

      Thanks for going back to watch this one from a while ago! Sometimes all the bits align 😂
      The paint I am using on the body of the car is super thin, being meant for airbrushing. With really thin coats the brush strokes don't show in my experience. You can thin acrylics with water to get something similar but it helps to use good quality ones. Check out Vallejo and try a bottle to see if you like it 👍

    I've been looking into what scale I want to do my scratchbuilt mecha dioramas and 1/64 scale (hotwheels scale?) is one I'm looking at so I've been looking at what you've been able to accomplish so I'm leaning that way as a result.

    • @BPCustomCreations
      @BPCustomCreations  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! 1/64 is good and bad. There are a lot of diecast cars in 1/64 but not much else. If you go with 1/35 or 1/72, there are mainly military modes. 1/144 is what a lot of gundam modes are. Basically, if you are scratch building it doesn't matter what scale you choose but if you want to match it to other non-scratch models or use bits and accessories for additional details you might want to think about the choice of scale.

    • @bots2beasts
      @bots2beasts 2 года назад +1

      @@BPCustomCreations Yeah. Boils down to laziness of not wanting to sculpt a few dozen "spectator minis" and buildings. Conversions also saves time. PLus, I may want to make some resin garage kits and having an established scale that the buyer can use with stuff they have at home is always nice. I didn't want to go any smaller than 1/64 or 1/72.
