- A robot, er.. mech, from trash, well toys and other bits, but you get the idea. This was a huge undertaking and a great challenge for all of my skills. I learned a lot this time and some new techniques I want to try again in the future. Let me know what you think in the comments!

You make cutting & modifying plastic and die cast metal look so easy. For anyone who hasn't tried this, it is NOT easy! Great build. Loved seeing you do a larger diorama too!
Thanks buddy! It must just be the brute force of over a thousand hours of experience at this point 😅
@@BPCustomCreations Those hours of experience show. You've got a good gift.
"Futuristic steering wheel" got a very good chuckle out of me!
😁👍
Awesome build Ben it definitely turned out amazing brother 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much!
Really cool as always, that robot reminded me of Rhino from The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Thanks! Rhino is also a beefy mech 👍
Cool 😎 love it awesome 👍😎❤🎉
Thank you 😁👍
Your welcome
I feel like any piece of plastic is never junk in your hands❣️ You transform every dull object into some magnificent thing❣️😂 Keep up the good work❣️👍🏻🥳
Thanks Jean! You're the best 😊👍
Love that robot design, chicken walker-esk
Thanks! It's a bit too chunky perhaps but it works out well in situ
Followed the collaboration over here from gamey builds. Awesome build, it is a wonderful that we can challenge ourselves through collaboration.
Thank you for coming by! It was a great collab and I'm glad it worked out for both of us!
+1 for your build BP and a +1 for mentioning Galaxy Quest 😃. Another skilled and detailed build sir.
That movie is burned into my brain from an early age 😂
Perfect fitting parts are one thing, but scratch building this thing on the fly needs some skill and eye to do the magic. great mech, great diorama.
Thank you so much! Sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing but I can usually steer it to a good endpoint 😁👍
Very cool build, really enjoyed!!!! 🙂 👍
Thanks man! This thing barely fit in my spray booth 😂
@@BPCustomCreations 👍👍👍👍
Really great build! It was a real pleasure watching it come together.
Thank you for the video! You demonstrated some great "tech"niques here, I learned a lot. I love how the rock wall turned out, that looks fabulous.
Thank you! I hope you can use some of the ideas to create something too!
A truly amazing scratch build, the attention to detail in both the build and painting technics really brought this to life.
Thank you! This thing was probbaly a bit bigger than ideal for me in the hobby 😂
wow!
😁👍
WOW! You did such a great job with this!
Thank you!
Outstading work. You did a great project 😃😃
Thank you!
So awesome!!!!!
What an incredible collaboration!!!!
Nice movie reference lol
One of my favorite movies! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
@@BPCustomCreations you are welcome 🤗
Great imagination 🎉 i like to make messes too
Thanks!
Love the wall texture!
It's a really easy technique but it gets everywhere 😂
Amazing work
Thank you so much!!
Very cool! The electric ball looks real good.
Thanks! I love the airbrush and not sure how I went so long without getting one
@@BPCustomCreations ye. I think that will be my next big purchase.
Well done, I liked very much how you painted it all. Also enjoyed watching how you made the most out of every single item supplied
Thank you! I wanted to make a point to use as much as I possibly could
Looks amazing 🤩
That rock wall is awesome
Most excellent. That background texture does really look nice. All around fa fantastic build.
Thanks! The wall is probably my favorite part
Very cool BP!😻
Thanks Natalie! Now, where do I put it? 😂
Those perfect fits 😮❤
I think you should have left the blue beads as is they were pretty on their own. Nice job with the mech build it looks like it could seat a Mega Construx figure.
Yeah the beads looked cool but they were all chipped and bubbled up. The blue marbled surface was just an outer coating and not a solid bead material.
That is a cool diorama I love how you discovered a new technique nearing the end of the video! great work!
Thank you! If I can do the same technique in other types if surfaces it could make using the pastel powders much less hassle. I won't have to shave them down into a powder first!
The end result looks great! My fav part though was the joy in your voice when you showed us the “perfect fits” 😁 Those are seriously so satisfying!
I was trying so hard not to cough and have my voice crack 😂 my voice is shot from getting sick last week and it's still not better 😅
AWESOME !!!
That turned out great! Amazing build!
Thanks Alan! Now where do I put it? 😂
That's the issue with a hobby, space!
This is a sick build! Like something straight out of a movie or game, amazing concept! 🔥
Thank you! It came out pretty cool in the end 👍
Great build, looking forward to seeing what Gameyy comes up with!
He knocked it out of the park!
Nice work bro
Thank you! 😁👍
Love it!!
Very nice work. Thanks for the tips as well
Absolutely!
Love the Mech kit bash & we all love lucky fits, just got my biggest scratch build underway.
Thanks! What are you making?
@@BPCustomCreations I'm attempting to build an on world spice & herb peddlers ship from HMS Victory a VW camper van with chopped roof & a 40's tram, powered by WW1 biplane engines with a hint of nitro.
Your mixture of paints to make a metal effect is incredible. Looks amazing.
Love how the robot turned out, Looks great! Defiantly gave me a lot of inspiration to start scratch-building more!
Thanks! I'm glad to hear you got something out of it 👍
Glad I'm not the only one who just does a texture paste like that, though I usually use bird sand or rock flour depending on the grit size I'm going for.
What is rock flour?? Sounds very fine
@@BPCustomCreations Basically the stone dust that gets collected during industrial rock processing (cutting and the like) that gets collected. You can usually buy bags of it online for next to nothing.
Has the same consistency as wheat flour, but since it's rock material instead of something organic, you don't have to worry about it spoiling like anything when it gets wet during processing. It's sometimes used in agriculture as a mineral booster for fertilizer or in tumbler polishing and other crafting uses.
A 5 pound bag usually sets me back about $6 plus shipping. A bit pricier if you want volcanic material. Gets crazy cheap if you buy larger amounts through agricultural vendors, we're talking "$6 for an 18 kilogram bag" cheap!
The great thing about getting old and losing your memory. You can watch your favorite RUclipsrs content twice in less than a week without remembering you watched it already until too far into it to stop. :)
You need to start advertising in old folks homes. You could probably get tons of views out of just 5 seniors. :)
😂 Most of my audience according to youtube statistics are not far from that age group so maybe you're on to something
Fantastic build! Imagination 100%+ by using all this peaces and to see imagine what coold be used in a different place. 💪To put all this work in only 20min… my biggest respect for all that work you did!
I would be interested to see all the stuff you have stored for making all these great builds 😉 my wife always ask me why i keep all this crap 🤪😅
I‘ll practise on dioramas soon. The paint is my fear. I have never done this before, but i got a lot of ideas from your videos! A big Thank You for sharing them! 🇱🇺
Thanks! I fortunately have a room that my wife doesn't mind me filling with crafting related stuff so it's just all over the place 😂
I really should get more organized... 🤔
🤪😅👍
Fantastic! Eric from Gamey Build sent me here… and I saw and I liked, so I subscribed! :)
Welcome! Glad to have you 😁👍
Ben! You crushed it! Again! It’s such a treat to watch your videos. The concepts, execution, production…all of it, top notch! The only part that really bothers me is how effortless you make it all look. Well done.
As always, there are tens of hours of sticking bits of trash up next to each other to see if they fit 😂
I'm glad you like it! Be sure to check out Eric's build too 👍
Wowzers 😮
😁👍
Even though it's a larger scale diorama project, you didn't miss out on any details. Love this one, Ben. Very well done and another enjoyable watch! 🍁☕️👍
I'm glad it looks like I didn't skip any details because I know I had to at a certain point to get this one done in a reasonable amount of time 😂
I love this! It's so cool!
Thank you 😁👍
hey a knockoff blaster being used for something good. anyways awesome build
Thanks! I've been planning on using a dart gun at some point and it finally happened
@@BPCustomCreations we call them blasters in the foam flinger hobby but yeah.
Awesome!!
Thanks! 😊👍
Well, damn. Thats more then impressive.
Cheers! 😁👍
You may be able to switch the tensioning screws on the jewelers saw to the right side so you don't hit your fingers. Speaking from experience.....^^
Thanks for the tip! I'll see if mine does that
This is really cool. You came up with something really unique. I hope to see more collaborations in the future!
Thank you! I hope to be able to collab more in the future too!
Hello! GB brought me here!
Hey! Welcome ☺️
@@BPCustomCreations Definitely going to binge all of your previous videos soon, this turned out amazing!
This is a awsome video to help ppl like me who is in a builders rut and all my models the last two months i have built look the same and not unique and this video helped inspire me to use different materials and household items and toy pieces from my kids broken toys to make models for model shows. I build alot of cars but jsut got into scratch building futuristic soaceships robots and distopia style ships and star wars ships are designed with distopya in minf where nothing is in a pattern or uniform and not random in the design of the ships
Thanks for the great comment! You'll love my new video coming out tomorrow if you like this kind of thing too 👍
wooow
Being French (living in the UK), I had to Google what “gribley” means… and I have to say… the UrbanDictionary’s various definitions were very interesting 😂
😂 Greebles, or greeblies, are little bits and details that you stick on models to add interest and texture.
Wow what a transformation I've always said that you are the king of diarrhea and that is the biggest and best diarama you've ever done my friend. Keep up the good work and God bless
I know you mean king of diorama but that typo is too good 😂
This was a fun challenge
Man! Love how you made the canopy dynaic like that. was it a chore getting it all worked out?
The key to making it work is not trying to get it perfect 😂 there is a ton of play in the movement
@@BPCustomCreations 🤣
👍👍👍😎
Thanks Dane!
Huzzah,, truck truck
Hey man, do you have a upload schedule? I keep hoping to see a new video uploaded but I haven't seen one yet. Hope all is good with life and nothing major has happened, if that is the case, hope everything gets better soon. Look forward to seeing your next creation!
Hey Mr. FIZZ, thanks for asking about me. My work situation is crazy hectic and I've put my channel and Patreon on pause until things improve. I can't get into making a video at the moment unfortunately
Reeces which are mysteriously not here anymore 😂
Can't imagine where they ended up 🤷🏼♂️
@@BPCustomCreations yup a complete mystery for sure 😂
no story ☹
The whole video is a story of how I made the diorama 🤔
