Great stuff! I love this model, but you just made it 100% better. Nice one. And thank you for revealing what was on the seat - almost impossible to see when chromed.
If there was ever a casting that needed an upgrade it is definitely this one! Now I see this casting in a different light. May just pick one up to have in the back log! Great work!
I like the engine detail visible through the hole where the grille was - nice touch by HW. This was actually one of their better attempts, greatly improved now though.👍👌😁
Gorgeous truck! I really wish you included a bit more detail on how you do the wheels on your customs. We get to see everything else, but the wheels are only ever an afterthought.
I love it Danny! I liked this casting as soon as it was released. But like you, wasn’t crazy about the rear portion. Always thought it could use something different to customize it and make it better. Great job man! 👍🔥⭐️
From the back of the 2020 card: Born: 2020, El Segundo, California Designer: Hot Wheels® Slammed to the ground, wide bodied, roll-caged and a blown engine, this hot rod truck was meant to haul something, but it ain't cargo.
Wicked custom Pike's Peak E-Rod Danny! I love how you customized this one. Like you I bought a few when they first came out thinking it had potential, but that rear framework obscures all the details of the interior. I never thought of a hillclimb version, thanks for the inspiration. Great work!! The wheels look great on this and I read in the comments that you pulled these off a Lead Zepplin Haulin Gas. Think I have a couple of them as well, so I can try my own version of this. I did want to ask how you made the wing. Is that curved center from a styrene tube? If not, how did you get it to curve like that?? Great stuff, thanks for sharing, and keep on keeping on!!
Some of the few large metal wheels you can find, especially low profile like that. I grabbed a few on special the other day. To make the wing I cut a rectangle of styrene then bent it round a rod untill it was round enough, then used plastic weld to glue it to the side panels before it straightened out again.
Hey Danny! Fantastic build and take on this one, and I noticed that windscreen on your model has rivets, correct me if I am wrong...This could be the variation because I have 4 of these and none of them has riveted front windscreen glass. Please confirm that. You can also check my build on my Instagram ( @tryagain_diecast_customs ) and see what I did to this beautifully ugly and versatile casting. Can you tell me how you print your decals or where you get them? Cheers!
That is certainly different, I keep passing on this one, great job 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️😃👍🏻
Hot Wheels should buy the concept off of you and make a hill climb version. They have all those versions of the Bone Shaker.
HUGE IMPROVEMENT 3D !!
Pikes Peak cars are one off mean and fast, just the way yours looks !! 👍
Absolutely stunning! My only complaint is the cab being open in the back but eh whatever it's still such a badass build!
This is a 100% improvement on the original nice job
Your fabrication makeovers keep improving. Thanks for the video.
Turned out amazing Danny. 10× better than the original. Awesome job on this build. Thanks for sharing, take care and stay safe.
Spoiler alert! Love the look of this, so outlandish, just like most of the Pikes Peak specials.
Well done sir 👍It looks very good, waaay better than the original.

Very nice. Showing off the detail in the back is smart. Again another beautiful build. This is one of those cars everyone wants in their collection.
These types of trucks are interesting. This one kinda reminds me of a Chevy Squarebody.
I like the engine detail visible through the hole where the grille was - nice touch by HW. This was actually one of their better attempts, greatly improved now though.👍👌😁
Great concept Danny! Love the execution! I've got a few of this casting and haven't had an idea that moves me to build it.

Can you make a Ghost Truck/Rig From Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated?
Hiii , what is the name of the white material you used? ( Made spoiler)
Polystyrene sheet. You can get it from hobby shops for modelling, model trains etc 👍
