I love this resto. Had this one when i was a kid. I love how you keep your mistakes in the video instead of pretending that everything always goes perfectly to plan. We all F' up. It's nice to know that old hands like you do it on occasion too.
It came out beautifully. Great step by step. I just need a guesstimate for what a little bit of paint is, in either medicine cup levels OR number of drops per color/thinner. THANKS!!!
Absolutely awesome job on resurrecting this sweet casting and that thing looks brand new again! I’ve been searching for how to get some windshields looking new again and that stuff seems to do the trick. My air brush and stuff should be here today so definitely itching to try it! 😎
I still have one from when I was a kid somewhere with a bunch of others but I bought another one last weekend to restore and was going to ask where you got the decals, if it was from Second Chance Redlines or I did hear you say you made them. They look perfect and another beautiful car!!!

Wow! Beautiful paint color, thank you for going step by step! Helps a lot
Very nice custom! Great work! I really like the casting.... about 2 weeks ago I found a pretty good one on a fleemarket. :)
amazing resto as always
Nice Paul. Don’t use a dry air brush👍👍👍👍
I just found out the paint flows better if you use it through a brush that is already been primed with fluid
Great restoration. Awesome tutorial love the step by step video.👍🏽😎
Nice! Almost done with my retomod on this one. Spectraflame orange with RR. Just waiting on the decals. I'll post pics on Instagram.
Nice, love it !
You can still see the faint outline of Shoe Off where the name was blanked out. This base was originally used on the Bye Focal.
I have this one from when I was little and it is mint. I never played with it
Fantastic work as usual
Thank you
Brother the car turned out awesome. Have you ever done a Dixie challenger in orange spectraflame? Great car bud.
Sounds like that’s the plan the next time I do that car buddy. I hope you’re doing extremely well, my friend.
how do you "squeeze the ends off" the axles?
Fence Pliers
What is the PlastX for? Thank You!
It’s for polishing plastic.
Great Job brother! Question how did you paint the tail lights?
Testors model paint and a small swab

Second Chance Redlines has a great product and yes, I do make my own.
@DiecastGraveyard yours look great Paul, I'll message you on Instagram.
Hot. Wheels. Dixie. Challenger. Restoration
With these cars hard to find, how hard would it be to make a Dixie challenger out of a Rodger dodger
You can do it with the flag decal but would have to put something on the sides of the car. Good question.
I see what you mean. They retooled the casting to where the pipes goes out the sides but I have an idea for that. I’ll let you know haw it goes.
I have this car but it is in rough condition
