WOW, its awesome having Head Coach Ruff back in the fold, now he can finish what he started and bring us our first Cup!
He was fired in the middle of the season and that was a bad move.Buffalo got a coach that will take him to the playoffs next year.

Lindy Ruff is not Ron Rolston, Ted Nolan, Dan Bylsma, Phil Housely, Ralph Kruger, or Don Granato.
When Lindy was fired the top 4 scorers on the team were Vanek,Ennis,Stafford,and Pommenville - no coach stood a chance with that talent - management let the city down not Lindy - Adams was an assistant under Lindy so they should work well together now - similar situation to Beane /Mcdermott - I think Lindy deserves to be lifted into the rafters after all he has meant to thus franchise

Scapegoat in NJ!!! Idc who the coach is you don’t have goaltending you’re not gonna win games. NJ had a lot of injuries early in the season and dealt with off the ice issues. Lindy was in a tough situation. I’m very happy he gets this opportunity and extra glad he’s back in Buffalo where he belongs
he was already Buffalo's coach once right? There's a reason he was fired the first time.
Theres also a reason he was their coach for 16 years and is still actively coaching after 30 years. That was also 11 years ago. New ownership, new people upstairs. New team.
I think it was more on Darcy Regier being a bad gm than Ruff being a bad coach.

Went to the cup, rebuilt after Hasek and the lockout, won a Presidents Trophy and went to back to back Conf Finals. Sure, we didn't win a cup, but JFC, we Sabres fans are just dying to make the playoffs.

DG did what he could. He progressed the young guys pretty well. Sabs fans shouldn't be hating on DG. He'll be a coach in the NHL again for sure. The young guys on the team, which is 85% of the team btw, need a new message and to be held accountable. Lindy will bring that x1000
