U.S.A. 1 was my favorite truck at that time. Even though I'd seen Bigfoot in person. I still loved U.S.A. 1. it was such a gorgeous truck. And to this day still one of the absolute best paint jobs of all time
Skoal bandit was a beautiful truck as well let's not forget about that one 🤩
USA-1 was my favorite when I was a kid, then I became a fan of King Kong when I realized it always caught fire when it raced.
I don't know whether i'm more impressed by the monster truck or the fact that it's being driven by Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top 1:33
The classics that started it all.
Jim Kramer was the first ever to drive a monster truck
I l💙ve monster trucks
@@lenortucker5146 Bob Chandler with the arctic tires started it with Jim Kramer. The race with the river boat got plenty of attention lol
I loved USA1! That brought back so many memories.
I love the old school 5 ton axles, leaf springs, old shocks and steal body’s.
Best trucks ever I still recall my favorites like usa1, heartbeat, Goliath , King Kong etc. Carolina crusher was good also
@Wade I agree with you they were just cooler period
Old school monster truck I remember them days thank you guys for the video THANK you and ROCK AN ROLL MY FRIENDS them are COOL trucks.
How awesome is that to see the flip-top come up when Everett rolls into the museum? Just epic, absolutely epic. And with all the camera flashes going off when the doors are opened on The Beast hauler, it really feels like an archaeological unveiling at a museum.
USA-1 by far my favorite Monster Truck
When I was a kid this was my favorite monster truck
My two favorite Monster Trucks as a kid were "Taurus" and "Gentle Ben 1"-- I liked Taurus because it was the first to crush buses and Gentle Ben 1 because it was a local guy's truck.
God back in the 90s I use to watch big foot on TV with my dad love big foot and love Ford truck!!!!!!!!!
awesome!!! gives regular people a fast past brief glimps of the extremely hard work that it takes just to change the tires
Glad to see the original USA-1, Goliath, and Bigfoot 1 together again and looking very sharp! There's a video of Cliff Sarbird's trucks today (Monster Vette, Frankenstein, Wild Stang). They should be restored and put here!
The new monster trucks are great and all
But these are the real deal
There's no school like old school
Nuff said!!!
NorCal
Best thing to happen to monster trucks
R.I.P Steve Wilke Driver of USA 1😔😔😔😢😢😢😭😭😭🙏☝️⛪⛼🌌💐🌹🌷💜💖💗
He was the owner rod drove the truck
Everett Jasmer is the owner. He is still around. Both Rod Litzau and Steve Wilke drove the trucks.
BIGFOOT has a trademark, impressive, and awesome tilting front end, But you have to tip your hat to USA-1 classy tilting funny car body style.
I had a 1:10 rc model of the classic usa-1 monster truck between 2000 and 2010. Loved it. The model itself was from 1989.
4:40 is that the "THUNDER CHICKEN"??? We used to pass that on our way to Knobel's Grove way back when we were kids. Epic to see the tailgate and fender!
USA 1 baddest monster truck after Bigfoot...
Cool video and nice to know they actually have a H.O.F for the originals of the 80s.Back when I was a kid it was Bigfoot of course, then USA-1, Rollin Thunder, Monster Vette, Ice Monster, and other greats like the mud truck with the eye-ball stickin out the hoof, remember that? The 80s were very cool when it came to the USHRA and the ideas for the cars and trucks were before their times.
God bless America!!!! I love these real OG monster trucks!!!!!! Bad ass and what I grew up knowing as a true blue monster truck and what I'll always love more then anything is the sound and sight of these real trucks roar into the room!! Remember the mud bogs and hill climbs they did or even the trailer pulls!!?? Lol that's what a real monster truck is and does!...
Got a real soft spot for those steel body trucks
I just had a thought..Could you imagine an "Old School Monster Jam?" Kind of how sports has a "throwback" game with old uniforms..let's have a throwback "trucks of the old days" @ a few Monster Jam shows..I think that would draw some fans..Be nice to see who still has their old trucks & if they still run. But most are prob sold or rotted away..
I am lucky enough the USA1 truck is safe and sound right down the road from me safe and sound Everet is an awesome guy that still has the passion for the sport as it was not as it is like wrestling on 4 wheels thanks for the video have a great day be safe.
USA 1 was my favorite
I miss the old times :(
Those old monster trucks are much cooler than what we have today, but I bet they are death traps, unlike modern trucks that come with a strong space frame.
USA-1 used to annoy the hell out of me as a kid because they frequently beat the Big Foot team.
Is this the same truck that sat on US - 41 in Nokomis Fla in the early 80's s
That looks like a great place to visit. Nice video!
Wish you would be one on Orange Blossom Special pulling truck
Greenlight Collectibles are making these old trucks from the 80s and early 90s with their Kings of Crunch line
The USA-1 truck ?
Were these classic ladder frame trucks enshrined or was it just a weekend gathering of the old trucks?
Impressive
Is this a venue you can visit all year round?
Yes it is. Auburn, IN.
the later versions, yes.
I’d love to see Carolina Crusher
Is it me or are those tires on De Grasso's Beast come from Bigfoot #4 when it had similar tires/wheels in 89 and 90
@gabe2304 - Black Knight was also on display for the weekend.
I had a model of the USA monster truck
@gravediggerrocks actually, its being restored right now, has a new to it body, frames been taken down to bare metal and repainted ect....
Favorited but wasn't there 3 predator carbs on USA-1? I think there was.... was that is.
@TheMonsterBlog Oh cool. Right after I posted that I figured it out. :)
Didn’t even seen the best one there.
What about stomper bully?
Have they fixed that dent in the left side header already?
Bad ass chevy
Those tire changing sequences are proof that stamina plays a big factor in monster trucks as a whole. Gotta have a strong back. You don't have to be Superman, but people with history of back problems should stay away from monster truck work like that.
Where is the Cardiff giant?
4:41 what's the name of the truck piece that's right beside Taurus? I know it has Chicken in it, but can't remember it.
they should put Thunder Chicken in there. Save the truck its just stilling in an abandon field.
USA 1
Lol strangely this reminds me of when woman put on their high heels to go out to a fancy restaurant.
3:23 What truck is in the background?
Bearfoot maybe?
The trucks were more fun back then before they all became tube chassis silhouettes with no parts commonality with their production contemporaries.
I think this is where fasttrax should've ended up
WTF the hood from Monster Mash???
I love the old truck's the best not like today this new crap it doesn't interest me haven't watched in yrs
Leaf springs, metal bodies, stock form, coolest trucks ever. Can watch the old trucks for hours. Today's monster trucks bore me in minutes. Old school was cool.
Someone doesnt like progression
The old trucks were unique and competitive. A true "Run What'ya Brung" style. The new trucks are like nascar, the exact same frame with a different plastic shell on top. There's no real competition, just a show. It's basically the monster truck version of WWE Wrestling.
All it is now is how much of an idiot can I be and how much of my truck can I destroy.
Cya you’re missing the point.
thunder chicken
