- Johnny Depp's attorney told jurors that the evidence will directly contradict Amber Heard's claim that she was the victim of domestic abuse. The attorney said multiple witnesses saw Heard between the six days of the alleged incident and the day she filed the restraining order and those witnesses did not see any marks, bruises or signs of injury on her face.

It's disgusting to see this woman in court. Whenever she is not the center of attention she is stone-faced, lacking all emotion and dead inside but as soon as she takes the stand, all of a sudden she spews forth her poor attempts at trying to replicate emotions she doesn't have cause it didn't happen. Actually no, I suffered abuse and have heard the texts read and the recordings of johnny's horrible ranting and threatening Amber as well as videos of his drug induced rages and destruction, his admitting to a lot of his abusive behavior so her testimony is true and you and people like you further the abuse. The people who hurt abused women are people who refuse to believe her, as you are clearly doing, because of your fantasy profile of her abuser. It has become so very evident that times have NOT changed and abused women will continue to be mocked/blamed in public for their fighting back and coming out and speaking the truth.

Agreed: But the legal burden of proof is with JD to substantiate his case "beyond all reasonable doubt". This is sadly one of those situations where the principle "Innocent until proven guilty" that we should all always uphold may get a monster off the hook ...at least from a legal perspective.
I sincerely hope AH gets the largest of books thrown at her but JD may have to be satisfied with a moral victory only.

@@charlesjmouse "Beyond all reasonable doubt" is for criminal trials. Here it is "preponderance of evidence" which basically means "more likely than not." It still isn't easy for Depp to win, though. The jury can rule against him for technical reasons even if they generally believe Amber's conduct is reprehensible.
I take my hat off to the righteous Judge in allowing this trial to be live telecast inspite of AH team of lawyers attempt to disallow it. God bless her for doing the right thing.

She never expected JD to fight back in court. She set back domestic violence victims being believed decades. She thought she was going to act her way throughout this. I think she thought, if she couldn't have him in her control no one could. Some people are just poison, greedy, jealous, shameless and selfish. I hope JD and his entire family can recover from the years she abused them, terrorized them and the damages she caused after they escaped her physically. Too many people attested to her madness that will not be in court and those in court. Also, dragging Johnny's children into this was a very cheap shot.
This trial is a good thing, it has shown the world that women can be the abusers and that they can lie about domestic abuse. Too many men are unable to come out for fear of being less of a man, or just plain not being believed.

We know what we think we know, but no one can completely know another person. That's why I'm trying not to be her judge. I know that karma will judge them fairly. I'm pretty sure AH is lying and JD is innocent, but it's not my place to say. I'm comforted in knowing she will get her just desserts, for whatever she has done. Known and...unknown. It's true for all of us. None of us are perfect. I pray for the best for JD and that he moves on after this and no more of his life is tied up in this mess.

We can clearly see how Johnny was sad, nervous, and devastated during the opening of this case, and now in recent sessions, he seems quite confident and relieved.
Everything she described was actually what she did to him, not the other way around. She is the abuser. For the "Staircase Incident" she claimed he tried to push her sister, Whitney, down the stairs. But the best friend of Whitney states in her written declaration that when Whitney was describing to her what had just happened, she stated that Amber was assaulting Johnny and that she was scared her sister would end up killing him. Whitney also told her best friend (again, the court document) that her sister, Amber, was the one to almost knock her down the stairs, not Johnny.
I do think AH is saying things she did to JD she gets messed up confused when saying it because she isn't the victim!!!(but pretending she is) She is a rage addicted thirsty abuser. Something that I find alarming is that she’s able to look at people as they talk. She can look at JD’s team as they talk, but almost as if in a challenging, haughty way. JD’s demeanor is very small and to himself, humble. I dunno if this means anything in the study of body language, but I feel like there’s a very telling difference.
When you are abused, you learn not to look your abused in the face or in his direction, ever. You learn you cannot let your guard down. If he had slapped her even once, her demeanor would be quite different.

I'm a adult abuse/child molestation survivor, and I put my ex in jail but the one that really tears at my soul, is how my mom allowed the sexual/physical abuse happen to me? My sister from a different father, refuses to apologize for not helping me either as a child(it sounds crazy because my abuser was her husband/uncle. Her and my mom dated 2 brothers)and I'm 46 still not wanting to sleep because even in my frequent nightmares, my sister and mom are still trying to trap me in a room so my uncle can find me. She's always been a terrible sister and keeps asking me why I won't talk to her? She says "I love u" a lot and I cringe. I'm an "actions speak louder than words" type of person, and after she lied and tried sugarcoating my uncle/brother inlaw's role in my life to my 23 yr old daughter, my kid cussed her out(she knows my pain)and I stopped bothering with her. She's just like Amber with that stop and go crying BS! 🤦🙄

I first took interest in this trial because myself and a family member are DV survivors. I was not siding with either until I fully was convinced by the evidence, Science, Testimonies and so on. Now, given that AH hasn't completely given her testimony yet or been cross examined, I haven't needed it to make my mind up. Through ALL of the audio that fortunately made it's way to me, it's just a complete disgrace to all of my fellow DV survivors that she would mock real life abuse. I hope the jury and the rest of the world sees right through all of her attempts to lie to the court. What a shame Amber Heard..... What a shame you are to all DV victims and survivors.

@@rareosts5752 I think the issue is that most domestic abuse victims don't collect evidence like Johnny did. You have to take their word for it, like a lot of people did with Amber. Defence lawyers can now claim a victim is just a bitter ex, imply they're "doing the Amber Heard routine" and sow a seed of doubt in a jury's mind. It won't affect all victims, but it certainly could create bias against some.

Yes cuz I found out about 10 or 15 years ago when I watch a trial on tv all the way through and then heard the news reporters. Those reporters were sensationalizing and lying. They were putting in fences on other things leaving out the full statement or facts. I can't stand reporters. Reporters and Paparazzi do not care about anybody but themselves. They have ruined lives and I wish I could remember the name of the worst one and I can't she's a female she's been around a while and she seems to always be given an opinion that influences people's Judgment of a trial. I don't believe what any of them say because I found out depending on the words they choose and how they say it that their controlling people's opinions and thoughts. You literally have to watch a trial if you want to get the truth

As a woman who has dealt with severe abuse, both mental and physical, it disgusts me to even LOOK at this woman. Notice how stone cold her demeanor. She has little to no reaction, during any of the recounting of the abuse. When she's on the stand, however, she tries her damnedest to come off as some traumatized victim. If she was REALLY being honest, any woman whose been abused would be able to relate and empathize with her. You feel it in your soul, when you hear someone else describe what they've endured, even more, when they cry.. it's enough to make you come unglued and cry with them. I feel nothing but anger and betrayal when I see her speak. There's an unspoken bond between abuse survivors and when someone LIES about abuse, it makes it only 10 times harder for other women to come forward, who truly have been abused. The only time she is sad is when she's feeling sorry for herself.
Put me in a room with her.. atleast she would have something REAL to cry about.

I didn't get to see the opening statements and now that I see this it really set the tone for what was going to come. I really wish they had the video footage of her laughing about getting "punched". I wonder what kind of reaction or smirk she would've given. The most obvious part of this trial is how she describes this horrible incident in Australia and the only photos she took was of mirrors?? Also, the actual 5 hour tape of when everyone arrives after his finger was cut off was telling. They only played the part about him yelling how she made him feel sick about himself. Sad, that it couldn't be played.

I am a DV survivor and this is just so sad.

Her lies have spread like a virus right across the planet and caused damage and pain and losses of many kinds, financial, emotional, reputations and so on. It isn't solely just Johnny who suffers here, although his suffering should in no way be diminished or minimized by this. The audio recordings clearly indicate that she is a cold callous liar who cares nothing for the good man she married. I'm sure many women would feel incredibly safe and secure with a man like Johnny, he has now proven that he can weather all kinds of taunts and mental abuse without ever just loosing it, many men would not be so calm if faced with such a witch.

I was defamed 30 years ago, it ruined who I used to be. I don't know how my life would have gone if not for that defamation.
