I mean, they ARE new to classic vanilla era in season of discovery and most of the familiar named abilities often don't work exactly the same as their future counterparts. That being said, season of discovery might not be everyone's thing and if u dont like it that's totally fine.
The word "new" is doing a lot of heavy lifting. As someone who played Classic TBC and Wrath and modern WoW, this doesnt make me excited for SoD.
