This is better than any fishing show on tv. So exciting.
You've officially earned my utmost respect. You did a killer job walking that fish around the boat!! That was freaking intense!!
i have a lot of people to give credit to, Jon did all the hard stuff, im just young and spry and can run in circles longer than most hsaha
@@joevtfishing ahaha man that was an intense fight, great teamwork
INTENSE!! This is one of the best fishing videos I've ever watched. In like 1977 Hudson Fl, they had a 600 pound tuna swimming in a residential canal. The boys back then did what they knew best and they gigged from a row boat for the win. There was even a newspaper article.
One hell of a team! Hell yeah! Good job gentlemen.
dude i just found this video randomly, i didn't know you guys were the people who came into my speedway for those few days straight to get fuel!
That was intense!!! Our little 150-200lb Yellowfin Tunas got nothing on that Fishery!! Also good job working that rod up and around the boat, that's something we rarely see on RUclips. (normally it's to hectic to film) I look forward to part 2!
That is some professional team work and communication going on in that boat. Awesome stuff, really interesting!
Happy birthday, have a good new year!
Exciting video, looking forward to the next instalment, happy new year Joe.
this is crazy cool. well done joe can't wait for the next video
Sick trip. My back was burning just watching
I used to fish in Lake Norman NC with my aunt and uncle when I was a little girl and now I can't get enough of fishing videos. I loved this! Great Catch.
thank you for watching!!!
No way..
I’ve gone fishing in lake Norman NC multiple times..
That’s crazy 😂
Came over and subbed from Blue Gabe. Got me another favorite channel to watch now.
Thanks.
Awesome video man, definitely gets your heart thumping
Yesss!!! I’ve been waiting for a tuna video
Outstanding!!!!! I watch fish videos all the time, usually skipping past the boring parts to get to the end. There were NO boring parts in this VID. From start to finish you had me mesmerized/transfixed to the screen. I was really impressed with how you guys handled Two (2) Giants at the same time, moving around the boat, how many times?? I was waiting for the "Oh Shit" moment that never came. Great job by all involved and great piece of video too!
Couldn't agree more. It's crazy when you search for fishing videos and actually get fishing instead of some terrible over-produced melodramatic vlog.
That was awesome! You guys are truly bad ass fishermen!
Wow! Very impressive filming and narration. You guys worked as a Team, the communication between everyone was excellent and that was hectic fighting two huge tunas at the same time. Excellent! Keep up the great work.
Hawaii, we call that hook up "Hana Pa'a"
Nice fish. Big boys
I think your estimation of 200 yards offshore and 16' of water was a little off. I couldn't see any land in the video.
Right
Even Stevie Wonder knows you’re clearly not close to shore.
That looks more than 100yards of beach. Nice catch
Happy birthday, and nice vocal communication, my friend
Yeeeeew. Awesome fishing Joe. I see you have the all star NoFlo fishing team. Happy Birthday
Great video, one of the best I've ever seen.
Great work guys and communication!
Just today found your videos. Absolutely love everything about your videos. For sure a new subscriber. Keep it up, man beast.
Thank you for the sub!!!!
This was a fight you'll never forget, boy i gotta tell you' your not short of stamina.😂😂😂😂
Nice!!! Happy to see a healthy fishery!!
Some colossal fish and amazing handle 👍 and all on a center console boat. Amazing job gentlemen
top video written on your channel to strengthen, like guaranteed hug
Intense! Pretty work!
Happy birthday my friend very exciting I’m here now.
Happy birthday bro. Great work, no harness and belt needed 😎👊
Im less than 3hrs from there and have never had the pleasure of cranking on one lol great video!!
Looking forward to your next video for part 2
Amazing! Congratulations
Happy birthday, I seen you carried Gabe out the other day, you totally crushed that tuna on the rod, he didn’t have a chance.
Happy Birthday Dude!!
Nice birthday fish bro
Wish I could give you 1000 likes just for catching that big Bluefin standup style. Feel the pain Joe, great job on the rod.
ABSOLUTELY KILLIN IT
Nice catch! Great crew too.
Happy last birthday Joe . You need to get Gabe on somethin like that 🤣
Hell yea joeyyy!!!!
U man handled that fish bro. Most confident I have seen you. That is awesome
I have to tell you it's been probably a couple months and you said I don't even know why I'm answering you on this about something. That's the old video
New video wowhow you man handled and commanded that Paul was red. I have never caught a blue fin I'm envious, even though it's against biblical, man that's bad was it just totally awesome or what
Happy Birthday dude. Awesome video
This is the catch. A huge fish.
Can't wait for the next video
That's what's so weird about Bluefins. I used to be a charter boat mate out of Hatteras NC & Oregon Inlet NC. Off Oregon Inlet we fished for Bluefins offshore in 250 + fathoms, essentially out in the Gulfstream. Off Hatteras & Morehead City they would sometimes be in close like this here. You'd never catch Bigeyes or Yellowfins 3 miles off the beach.
Awesome as usual......keep goin!
Great job guys had big bluefin tuna Two miles of New Jersey in July on a popper
Man this video is awesome 👏🏻 you deserve a million subscriber at least
Absolutely Hemingwayesque. The rod bend was fantastic and I could almost feel the burn in my arms. When the tuna start stripping the line off the reel you can feel your heart in your throat. This video captures the struggle between man and fish so much better than Wicked Tuna.
Rod holders and a maneuverable boat made it happen. Old Man of the Sea disapproves. lol. Nice catch!
This made me giggle! Freaking epic! Our albacore can’t even compare. Not even a 10’ sturgeon! Love it. One day I’ll get over and catch one
See ya in a few days. .. can't wait to c what happens. Gonna tell all my fishing geeks
Epic epic video, two big fish close to the boat going in and out on each other like double header Mahi. Great job on the rod! I bet your lower region felt it for a while.
Awesome catch.
been on that rod Joe, Can't imagine having to do it with two on!! Great job!
thank you!!
You & my daughter have the same birthday great video bro! I’m new to fishing got into it maybe 5 years ago but been hooked ever since I felt I was in the video with you lol my adrenaline was rushing with y’all 😂😂 I’m a northern Cali guy we fish stripper, hali, salmon, rock fish it’s been a dream to go blue fin fishing maybe I’ll take a charter one day ! Just subscribed also can’t wait for the next video!
Thank you for the sub!!!
That's a crazy double !!!
Sick dude!! Wish we didn’t have to run to Clemente for tuna haha that’s insane so close to the beach!
Nice catch..very big fish...I like fishing too..
Great piece of angling boys. I know how painful it is as my biggest is 662lb on stand up gear. Can’t wait to watch you need vid.
What an awesome episode
OUTSTANDING job!!!
Im a beaufrot boy I've caught a few of them in my life lol.my favorite way to spend my winter
I live in Morehead! Nice job on the fight!
grew up in morehead, big rock blue marlin, king mackerel tournaments big money around here
Now this is a fishing video!!!!
I about died when I saw Chasin Tails say that tuna was caught in 16 feet of water. Didn't they chase it 25 miles offshore? And the two brothers who got a tuna on a 19 foot skiff? Absolute madmen! Makes me move to Beaufort :)
I miss read the comment, I don’t know if they chased it 25 miles offshore but they did fight it for almost 8 hours
You don't want to live in Beaufort, trust me...
@@chuckclark6162 why not? Beautiful little quiet town, probably not the best place to move to for work reason. But other than that it is beautiful here
@@nitrojunkie9027
I live in Morehead & owned the Quick Lube & Car Wash on Live Oak from 2012-2018. After Eddie Bo Wheatley's employee (at his direction) dumped off-road diesel fuel in the car wash drain in broad daylight, & the town & police did nothing about it....it colored my opinion of that place. Go to my channel & take a look at the video evidence that was ignored by those in charge of the town & you'll see what I mean.
I paid for the cleanup because, by law, I had to. $14,000 by the way.
I sued Wheatley, local judge ruled that a car wash drain is just a litter receptacle (still can't dump petroleum in a trash can, right?!), and after it went all the way to the state supreme court, he settled with me. I spent another $75,000 on legal fees & did not get that back in the settlement.
I no longer own the business &/or property there.
Another reason I decided to leave was the way that many people treated me & my property there. Total disregard for litter & personal space (lots of theft, vandalism, yelling & aggressive behavior from customers that had issues that they thought I should solve for them).
There are some good people in Beaufort, Mark Chadwick, of Mark's Tire & Alignment comes to mind. In fact, he witnessed the incident that made me make up my mind about leaving Beaufort & never going back. You should ask him about the crazy man with the paint overspray on his truck that violently accused me (& my car wash) of "leaving a residue" on his truck all while dropping about 100 f-bombs in front of other customers. Not to mention the same crazy guy going for a gun...I beat him to the draw, so he decided to leave, but pointing a gun at someone in order to make sure that I'm not hurt due to someone else either lying/stealing from me, or being too crazy to understand that his problem had nothing to do with me...that took out of me what little I had left, so i locked the door never went back.
Sorry to ramble...
Damn, great video!
Awesome bra!
Joe, you are my hero!
Best vid yet, brother!
Hell ya,
My kind of fishing. You guys hooked me . Lmao
I watched this twice, Joe you kicked his ass Brother.

Awesome video
Shout out to my hometown. Morehead nc. Best fishn on east coast, I could be a lil biased though lol
Lol. 30 miles north of me. I always fish the "Crystal Coast OBX" and some of the best has always been the Beaufort/Morehead City area fisheries.
I wonder who the 18 assholes are that down Voted this Vlog! I'm a 60 year old Sport Fishing Captain and I was glued to my seat! Watching this stuff just brings you back into the moment! I Thank You for that... and Happy Birthday =)

These videos are dope! If you ever wanna come up to NH and catch them bait fishing let me know!!
I WOULD LOVE TO!!!!!!! HIT ME UP!!!
Nice catch
Another awesome vid Joe, would love to see a drone used, it could drop a bait right on a big fish
Damn. I was thinking it was one 1000 pound tuna. But still awesome
Ok bro you sold me I wanna see the video letssss go
Wow..omg!!!! superbbbb....massive catch...💪💪💪💪
For anyone that thinks fishing isn't a sport, trust me when you are behind the big 80TWs and a big fish working you, it's a pain like no other.
it hurts bad sometimes haha
It’s a winch with a handle and a built in drag system, a circle hook in the corner of its mouth-can catch anything out there with that set up after the fish is worn out. Hardly a sport with a level playing field
@@ryeckley7267 your right because they never break off or pull the hook when fighting...gotta wear out the fish first and trust me, the fish wear you down long before you wear them down at times.
@@ryeckley7267 yup, totally. a fish/shark that can weigh more than 1000 lbs vs. a person usually less than 250, plus your on a surface that rocks in every direction so you’re never really balanced, plus you gotta have skill to know when to set the hook so it’s in the corner. I guarantee you would not even land 1.
Watching again hope you had great bday
Way to go and happy bday
I love it bro, also were you able to make it to see the jags lose? 😂😂😂
Great job on my new favorite fishin show. " NIce day for fishin, ain;t it? :)

Awesome job man!!! Happy birthday as well!! Can you tell us what tackle y’all use(rod, reel, line, hook) and the rig used to catch them?
Great job fighting that fish, used to go to hatteras every year for them til a big thresher did my back in. Miss it nothing compares
