My “why” is that I recently got diagnosed with cancer at 30 years old. I am “stronger” mentally and physically than I’ve ever been and I’m preparing my body for my upcoming surgery. Looking forward to rocking with you all before and after my surgery. So thankful for this community ❤️

Why am I here today? For one, it’s my birthday and I wanted to start my 49th year setting the tone to be happy healthy and strong. From here I go to the bathhouse and spa for a full day of pampering … 90 minute massage, I’m on way 👑💪❤️🔥
I'm here for my mental health. Because it's taken me years to realize that I deserve to take 30-45 minutes a day for me to work on me. And that by doing this, it's not selfish, but on the contrary I am able to pour into others around me bc I've taken time out for me first. Let's go ladies! Let's get STRONGER together!! Anyone else ever tear up when reading the comments? I’m inspired by this community, and I’m learning to say I’m inspired by myself. I usually downplay what I do but I’m learning to say “good job” to the effort I put forth… in parenting, in marriage, in work, in life, and in workouts. So good job to all of us!! Sydney, I’m so grateful for all the ways you show up for us and encourage us to do the same!
My “why” is two-fold: #1 For my mental health: controlling anxiety and knowing that I’m helping out the physical health of my future self #2 For my kids: being a good role model as well as being someone who can run around and play with them ❤️
My why is to sweat out any negativity, sadness or pain... to get stronger, and to set a good example for my son to see that daily movement is a part of well rounded physical and mental health. I am so excited for this month, and grateful for the last month of low impact options. I needed recovery more than I realized, and am feeling ready for this. Everyone I know is dealing with some kind of loss (rip Apollo - and my great aunty just passed last night). Let us rise, shine and show up in honor of their lives and the energy they shared with us. We workout to honor those who have passed on.
Felt SO strong today after this one... THANK YOU!!! My WHY is my two kids- an almost 5 year old and a 2 year old. I am a single mom and a teacher... I HAVE to have so much energy and patience to handle it all and you help me with that. You are the best syd
Fantastic workout. I turned 65 today and feel that I am the strongest I've ever been. Even back squatted with a 30lb weight today. Thanks Sydney for the push, for the encouragement and for helping me believe in me.

Been working out with Sydney off and on since the shut down of 2020. Now as a parent of a Toddler, my "why" is living my best for him. I can play with him and more importantly, give wife a break when she is spent. Moms are strong but a Dad who can pick then up is a foundation that can carry their family. Thanks syd! I'm spent 😫 😅
Thanks for another great workout! My current why is to feel good in my own skin. The extra weight is heavy and makes me feel sluggish and self conscious. I feel my best when I am strong and healthy!
My why? Get healthy so I can be here for my kids. Be able to do things with them. Set a good example. Feel good with myself. I totally felt this one. Not going to lie, I read over the exercises and was like, yep I got this...but whew! That slow down part had my muscles screaming. Thanks Sydney!

Ive followed you for a couple years now and never finished a month. You said something that clicked with me….dont think, just act! So last month I did just that and finished “Balance”. Now Im doing this month’s feeling amazing! I WILL FINISH BECAUSE I CAN!! Being in the mid forties, weight is hard to move. The inches are dropping and so is the weight thanks to you and my commitment!! Lets gooooo!!! ❤️

Two of the things I realized I missed with the Balance program were the list of exercises at the beginning of the workout and the timer! Both great additions to the program. Been sick and not feeling great, but anxious to move my body the best I can today.

I was so looking forward to this workout this morning. I've been consistent all of August, Sydney's archives kept me going plus walking every day. I was expecting a full body workout, BUT no, she starts with legs. I love leg day, but get a little bit anxious as well, because I know Sydney brings her A game. I totally rocked this workout and lifted way heavier than I have in past. My legs genetically are muscular and love to challenge them. I did today. I proudly call you my trainer Sydney. Let's rock September with Stronger. Mom of 5, 1 grandson, just turned 55 and feel on top of my game .

My why is my mental health and prioritizing myself
I’ve been doing strength training consistently for 15+ years, four with Sydney. I’m 62 and my goal is to be strong, healthy, and injury free for the rest of my life. 💪🏻
My why.. my little granddaughters, after my parents passed last year I made a commitment to myself my family to LIVE! I loved today!! Also from Southwest VA ❤
I was so looking forward to this workout this morning. I've been consistent all of August, Sydney's archives kept me going plus walking every day. I was expecting a full body workout, BUT no, she starts with legs. I love leg day, but get a little bit anxious as well, because I know Sydney brings her A game. I totally rocked this workout and lifted way heavier than I have in past. My legs genetically are muscular and love to challenge them. I did today. I proudly call you my trainer Sydney. Let's rock September with Stronger. Mom of 5, 1 grandson, just turned 55 and feel on top of my game .

My why is to be a good example for my 4 girls and to have the energy to keep up with them and be the best mom I can be! I’m back with this program after a long hiatus and am ready to get STRONGER!
