My Top 5: COLD Air Intake NWP Throttlebody Z1 Plenum Spacer Z1 Testpipes Agency Power catback exhaust These items make the most power in this order; NWP. Plenum Spacer, Testpipes, CAI, AP Exhaust This setup is dumb loud and gains mid end TQ and high end HP
@RUclips Txayou should watch his NWP throttle body video, he has a pull clip in the vid. Normal DE 350Z will stop pulling at 6K rpm but the NWP kept going making more power. Im planning of buying that next but my Z will be borderline needing a tune
These NA cars really don’t make a lot of hp even with tune it’s a lot of $ for the little your getting but tbh I wanna say +25 still depending on what type of intakes, test pipes and exhaust you get.
@@TEAMNHLive seen ~276whp to ~300whp on an HR with FULL exhaust (PPE Long tubes) or headers+test pipes-back, CAI’s, Ported upper & lower manifolds etc and to put the pwr down, 100% upgrade the motor mounts / trans mount / rear diff bushings / subframe collars 🎉
About how much would to cost to do all the mods you covered in this video? I got my 04 350z a year ago and it’s bone stock besides slightly better mufflers and exhaust tips. I’ve been wanting to make more power but wasn’t sure the best way.
Price all varies in the quality of product that you buy fir the car. A good exhaust alone can be over $1000. So I wanna say around 2k in this video. But if you plan to go full bolt on, that price will really go up lol
With the test pipes, have you experienced the CEL kicking on? I have an HR myself and done the transmission resolving the CSC and upgraded the clutch and flywheel from Z1.
Hey bro, Im trying to buy a Nissan 350z but an HR one anyway um what’s a good price point? I have 3 ppl trying to sell it for 6-8k. Overpriced or fair deal
It depends where in the USA you live around. But remember that you get what you paid for and my best advice for you is to be patient when buying a car if the price is not in your budget then don't get it. Just be patient when buying a car but also go and look at the cars because maybe the car that they are selling is worth the 6k or 8k that they are asking for. I got mine for a steal because I was patient I got mine for 4,500 but it was rebuilt. Nut 6k-8k is where they would usually cost. Just negotiate and be patient.
Depends on the year and milage, i got my hr with 60k miles, and 6-8m is really cheap for a hr 350z...usually de’s are that cheap and it took me 2 years to find my hr😂 but, it was worth it
So I bought a z in 2017 and I’m wondering where my hp sits at since I never tuned it but it does have a few things like the headers aren’t the OEM ones, berk test pipes, a y pipe and a cheap ass straight pipe on it. I have the 2005 enthusiast trim
OM4Rx I am not really sure where your hp could be around because there are too many variables, I’ll recommend tho to watch dyno videos of your z with your mods so that you can somewhat get an idea of where you are at
Thanks for supporting. If I were you go to z1motorsports website and select your car and there you can see many options of mods that you can get for the car.
@@juvroom_ thanks a lot, i’m just getting into cars and on top of that i just got my permit and i’m happy and excited to join the Z community! keep up the good work i love your videos
I’m looking to get mine and it’s my dream car and this video helped me into what to look at thx much man
Mods in this video:
1. Intakes (Cold Air)

Tow strap adds 10 🥴

Watch @Zorbii for his video on the NWP throttle body, Larger throttle body is better than a spacer
@RUclips Txa i dont have all those mods yet but the youtuber Zorbii has done the same mods. Im more or less modeling my car off his

About to come back to this vid when I get my HR soon
Hey man you got an update on that?
You need more subscribers, high quality bro nice job!
Aaron Woodward appreciate it 🤙🏼 little by little
Nice vid dude. Don't forget cams ! Cammed 350s can produce some real nice power
That is true my man.
how many hours does it take to cam and what are the risks
Thanks for the check list
Awesome video, i dont even own a car but it was entertaining
Holy shit why are these so hard to mod?! Man I'm going back to Subaru
I want to get test pipes intake and exhaust on my hr how much hp do you think I’ll get without a tune
These NA cars really don’t make a lot of hp even with tune it’s a lot of $ for the little your getting but tbh I wanna say +25 still depending on what type of intakes, test pipes and exhaust you get.
@@juvroom_ so at what total HP would that put an HR?

Good video! 08 Nismo owner here in CO. Wanted to keep it stock but that only lasted for about a year and a half lololol
hahah, im dying to have a nismo
OK thanks, my older cousin just got a Z and he is looking for mods to do
Whats ur opinion on Afe takeda stage 2 short ram for a DE? I heard they make abt 19hp
Better off getting a cold air intake, short ram don’t do much tbh
Just bought that cold air short ram

what year is his 350z
This is an 07 or 08 (only years for the 350z HR motor) + nismo (07/08)
So how much HP is this
Bought the car with a cold air intake and test pipes so I think I’m doing pretty good 😂
Facts id agree homie
What kind of seats are those and would they be good for a taller and bigger guy. I'm 6 ft. And 280 lbs and the stock seats are uncomfortable
brainblaster43 they are the oem seats that come with the car. For a 6ft person they will fit nice 👍🏼
so if i were to get the same mods u got would i still be able to keep the front bumper or is taking it off like you optional
The front bumper still fits lol. I had it off just for looks
do de’s make any different power with all this?
Yes but barely lol
@@juvroom_ so are you saying that these are useless on a de and just worth it on a hr?
But how do you cover the front of the car I want to cover it
Cover ? Or like put the front bumper ? A little lost
Do you need a tune for the intake plenum power mod?
Are these mods before a tune ?
Yea this car was never tuned
Roughly what is your 0-60 with these mods?
No idea tbh but should be around the 6 or less
@@juvroom_ thanks man
Nice
Thanks
Finally got my csc delete kit installed after my slave died on me twice. Good vid bro, cant wait to actually do shit on my z
