Loved your reaction. I'm a rock and roll, rhythm and blues guy. But, this is so next level that you would have to be stone-cold dead not to be moved by it. Great performance and music.
@TacetPotentia I mean, come on, bro. I get it, this isn't TECHNICALLY opera, but that's just semantics, it sounds and looks like an opera. You can call it pop-opera or whatever if you want to be snobbish or whatever, but "nothing to do with it" is just a really silly thing to say.
They are singing in an operatic tone, but this isn’t opera lol but speaking of opera, fun fact..she was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber who created Phantom of the Opera.
Sarah Brightman was the original Christine to Michael Crawford's Phantom in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. She was married to Andrew Lloyd Weber at one time. She also sang at one of the Olympic Games flame lighting ceremonies; I just can't remember which one. Maybe the last one in England as that is where she is from.
This was a massive hit back in the day, Sarah Brightman's album "Timeless" was inside every other Christmas wrapping, including mine. It was an amazing album, loved it! It was a period in time when classical music - or "pop-opera" was extremely popular for a while, leading with Brightman, Bocelli, Il Divo and other pop-sounding classical artists. Good times.
Andrea Bocelli is my favorite singer of all time, I once went to Poland to watch his live concert and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. I hope you have as much of a wonderful time listening to him as I did^^
You get it !! 😭 this music transcends all genres, nationalities, cultures and countries. For one moment we all get a front row ticket to their magic and generational artistry !!
I went to the Belagio in Vegas for a week when it first opened and this was the theme song for that hotel. The huge fountain outside was timed to music. This song always opened and closed the show.
Time to say goodbye is an incredibly popular exit song for funerals in the UK. Sarah has had a fantastic career in the West End and Broadway and much more besides. She was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber when he wrote Phantom, writing the part of Christine especially for Sarah to sing.
My favorite of Sarah's was Nessun Dorma from Harem World Tour. I was at the concert in S. FL., and she always knocks everyone out of their seats. Much of that is even done while she is twirling above from strings like an acrobat or swinging above with tweeky British 5" heels.

Goosebumps every time both great singers. Flawless perforamnce and having live orchestra its one of the best vocals ive listened to watched this many times. ❤❤❤
I saw Andrea perform live in Seattle on his early U.S.tour. My seat was aligned evenly to the very end of the stage, practically on the stage, and I could see clearly every feature of his face and countenance as he faced the audience and sang so closely to my ears. I was thrilled throughout his performance, and it is a forever memory. Also, I still have the LP which my daughter gave me as a birthday gift she purchased in England of "The Phantom of the Opera" starring Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. Sarah and Andrea make magic together in this above performance. Great, great memories! Thank you for your splendid reaction!
This on my list of songs to played at my funeral when that times comes already told the wife and kids this. I know kind of morbid to be thinking like that but I want it done right.
This was absolutely beautifull and amazing!! From the magnificently talented singers to the orchestral arrangement and conducting it was fabulous!! Bravo!!👏🏻👏🏻
It STILL IS popular.....you will SEE people packed into theaters for this. I am surprised that you are not familiar with Sarah Brightman. She was the original "CHRISTINE" (the female lead) in ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER'S ( Sarah's husband at the time), musical "PHANTOM OF the OPERA"
my mans cannot express any emotion for this classic. it was touching him in the beginning, and he retreated into analysis. it's ok to be touched bro. the way this song makes me feel reminds me i'm alive.
Beautiful song beautiful harmony. Dan Vasc sings this song as a cover with Rehn Stillnight and does a fabulous job. Fun fact…one of Dan’s singing inspirations was Andrea Bocelli. So that should not be a surprise that Dan does a good job with this song also.
Sarah Brightman was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber and was cast as Christine in Phantom of the Opera’s London troupe, and performed it many years. She is a brilliant operatic belle on par with Pavarotti.
Sarah Brightman was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber, and starred in the original Broadway "Phantom of the Opera". Back in the late 1990's and early 2000's was very popular in her solo career, putting on spectacular concerts with both her voice and beauty. Saw her twice with her La Luna tour in 2001, and then again in 2003 with her Harem tour. She was absolutely amazing!
Sarah brightman one best you won't get better then her phantom of oper the original singer from West end my favourite song of Sarah is question of honour
This video was most likely the production of the song at the close of the Olympics of the time, since I believe it was written for that express purpose and why it used many languages.
You MUST watch Fall On Me- a duet with Andrea and his son. As a father, it says everything. But to watch this iconic singer glow with pride as his son steps into his own.... it is a dagger to the feels!
An even better duet with Sarah Brightman on two incredible songs are her duets with Jose Cura "Just Show Me How to Love You" and "There for Me". Jose Cura is even more impressive vocally than Andre. Sarah was once Andrew Lloyd Webber's wife and she originated the role of Christine Daae in his musical "The Phantom of the Opera" in the mid-80's. Since then she has quite a few albums. She sings different styles. While she is not a proper "opera singer", she nevertheless sings pop versions of opera songs that are just incredible. Check out her music "Anytime, Anywhere", "Here With Me ( Dido Cover), "Eden", "Deliver Me", "Seven Seas", "No One Like You", "What a Wonderful World" , "A Question of Honor" (Tom Lord- Algae Mix), "Harem", "Fluers Du Mal", "Angel", and "Running." These songs are from her solo albums that didn't involve Andrew Lloyd Webber music of which she has several and which are also worth listening to "Whistle Down the Wind", "Unexpected Song", and "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" are just a few ALW songs she sings so impeccably. Sarah doesn't get the recognition from America she deserves.
For your information since you said you don't know anything about Sarah Brightman (born 14 August 1960) is an English classical crossover soprano singer, actress, and dancer. Brightman began her career as a member of the dance troupe Hot Gossip and released several disco singles as a solo performer. In 1981, she made her West End musical theatre debut in Cats and met composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, whom she later married. She went on to star in several West End and Broadway musicals, including The Phantom of the Opera, where she originated the role of Christine Daaé. Her original London cast album of Phantom was released in CD format in 1987 and sold 40 million copies worldwide, making it the biggest-selling cast album ever. Peace out.

Goosebumps when Sarah and Andre sing solo/duet. Absolute chills when the orchestra builds.
Its amazing to me how many people don't like Opera when stuff like this exists...
This isn't what you typically hear in opera though.
That's got nothing to do with opera.
italian pop classic :)

Saw Bocelli at the Hollywood Bowl. AMAZING!!!
This performance, one word, majestic.

Actually, she's done it twice - Barcelona in '92 and Beijing in '08. She's the first artist to be asked to sing at the Olympics twice!

You get it !! 😭 this music transcends all genres, nationalities, cultures and countries. For one moment we all get a front row ticket to their magic and generational artistry !!
Goosebumps! Their voice together are heavenly. ❤
There is so much musical respect and adoration on the stage.
One of the most beautiful songs of all time done by legends ❤
Sarah Brightman is the original "Christine" from the Phantom of the Opera.
I cry every time. Thanks for looking at this
Me too
I love this kind of music, Andrea Bocceli is the best. Love me some opera, the harmony was amazing
So magnificent it cannot be improved upon. The soul rises & cries out it’s perfection!
I went to the Belagio in Vegas for a week when it first opened and this was the theme song for that hotel. The huge fountain outside was timed to music. This song always opened and closed the show.

Great one! And great chemistry between the two singers.
Hello 👋 From Morocco 🇲🇦
ليس الوقت للقول وداعا ❤
Thanks so much for this one. I’ve been a fan of Sarah forever. I’ve heard this duet several times and I am always amazed at its beauty.
my mans cannot express any emotion for this classic. it was touching him in the beginning, and he retreated into analysis. it's ok to be touched bro. the way this song makes me feel reminds me i'm alive.
Awesome 🥲
I could listen to this for hours !

I was born 87 like Boyd is. I listened this as a kid already and love this arrangement.

I first heard this song on the sopranos which made me look him up and became a fan
This song was absolutely everywhere in germany after the boxer Henry Maske had it performed at his (first) end of career.
The one from 1997 is even better. So beautiful!!!!
Sarah brightman one best you won't get better then her phantom of oper the original singer from West end my favourite song of Sarah is question of honour
Loving the chills this classic gives me whilst " aguantando este calor Malagueño"
The Three Tenors were hugely popular worldwide. I thought everybody knew this one.
Great choice and great reaction! Renato Zero and Andreea Boceli " Piu su" ... another amazing song...❤ from România!
i aggrhey with you these peopel are amazing
Definitely check out Sarah's performance as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera. It is amazing!
This video was most likely the production of the song at the close of the Olympics of the time, since I believe it was written for that express purpose and why it used many languages.
I love this one - been one of my favourites since the 1990’s 😊
I was just playing this song the other day, you looking over my shoulder bro? :D
Amazing piece!!! If you want to see/hear more of Sara, there is a bizarre movie. Repo: The Genetic Opera. Highly recommend!
I agree with everything you said, except that having anybody else singing this would only do it an injustice.
I love when he sings this to Elmo on Sesame St.
If I ever got the chance of watching a live opera it definitely would be this especially with Andrea Bocelli there is just something about his voice
You MUST watch Fall On Me- a duet with Andrea and his son. As a father, it says everything. But to watch this iconic singer glow with pride as his son steps into his own.... it is a dagger to the feels!
Lol take this and watch it.... blades of glory... you will love it
You should try Sarah Brightman and Antonio Banderas - Phantom of the Opera or the song Andrea did with Celine Dion.
The Prayer, I think he's heard it.
When this song came out it was the most popular album at tower records...

Probably already stated, but Ms. Brightman was the lead for Phantom Of The Opera under Lloyd Webber in the 80's. And arguably the best Christine ever.
Goosebumps....
Your should react to Rosalia, she is exactly what you are missing. Her niveau on stage and the way she creates music is unbelievable. Andrea Bocelli ❤
Word!
Sarah is Andrew Lloyd Webers' ex wife, the First Christine in Phantom of the Opera. Her soprano voice and range ... a Pavarotti
By far the best cover from the Stepbrothers movie hehehe, Jokes apart great rewiev!
This is Music!
Sarah Brightman she is the original Christine from Phantom of the Opera. Very famous broadway singer.
Is it just me or does Mr L Boyd get the look of a proud father when he witnesses amazing female vocalists?
Thanks for this one, sir. :)
Sarah Brightman is a great performer in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musicals in the UK.
Andrea Bocelli & Laura Pausini “Vive ya” - Latin Grammy Awards 2007 😉
If you enjoy 'unusual' duets check out Tracey Chapman and Pavarotti singing her song, Baby Can i Hold You. Would love to see your reaction to it.
You should definitely listen to more Sarah Brightman. Also... Lara Fabian.
❤❤❤
She sang Phantom...
She was in the phatom of the opera
Quando possível reage Andrea Bocelli com Sandy interpretando a música corcovado
Do Ave Maria by either Pavarotti or Boccelli, it gives me chilla
Within 2 seconds I saw that you recognized the song
Please!!! Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman: Time To Say Goodbye
That's what this is...
Actually very surprised you do not know who Sarah Brightman is!
Ummm,
Shes Christine Diae from Phantom of the Opera........duh😂
Have you ever reacted to Dimash ?
English and Italian...
He wins
I like Dan Vasc’s version of this song better
The title wasn't the best translation. Instead of "Time to Say Goodbye", it is more "I Leave with You."
Sarah Brightman is more famous than Andre
❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏👑👑👑👑
