- This is my review and opinion on the manscaped lawn mower product. I think it's way over hyped and not a very good trimmer at all compared to other trimmers on the market:

This trimmer is an expensive gimmick. I trim the downstairs like a man. WD-40 and a lighter. Smooth finish and skin lubricated perfectly.

It’s not like there aren’t thousands of other videos reviewing items that also have adds on RUclips. Also this company isn’t a top advertiser for RUclips. They are an affiliate with a lot of youtubers, but top advertisers for RUclips are big corporations like Coca-Cola.

I have the Lawn Mower 2.0 that my wife got me for Christmas and I LOVE it. It's so smooth and they don't call it the Lawn Mower for nothing. However, I have never used the 3.0 so it may be a step backwards that was made as a cash grab, but I can personally vouch for 2.0

Thanks for the honest review!!! I was looking into this. For me The real selling points of the Lawnmover are the waterproof design and the led light... I know you picked on those features... but I prefer to do grooming in the shower, and honestly, at 40+ years, I can always use more light to help see... If somebody else would add those features that would be nice. But I'm checking out the Brio, because it does look like a great product in spite of not having those features. Thanks!

I ordered and owned the manscaper 3.0 and I canceled the next day after I got it and it was easy as pie and I have had no issues with it whatsoever. You have to use it as instructed and you'll be happy. It sounds to me like you just have an issue with it because it conflicts or doesn't match up with what you're already using and that is fine. But I love it and so does my wife.

I bought one before I seen this, and honestly your review doesn't change my mind on it. Yeah it pulls a bit sometimes, and will still nick you a bit if you aren't using it properly. If used when the hair is slightly wet it seems to work smoother. But other than that I love it. But I guess everyone has a different experience, and there own opinions when it comes to products. That's why I tell people you have to just try it for yourself because you might have a different outcome then the others.

@@pinut187 it does actually, a regular razor is much sharper and harder to use. The skin is sensitive, and you have to stretch the skin when shaving otherwise will definitely nick yourself.

1) You can choose to pay 10 bucks more on the manscaped site for no replacement blades
2) Some people have more sensitive skin
3) The lawnmower was made for exclusively down below, not like the back of your shoulder, which is why it has a weaker motor than say beard trimmers

I can confirm that this is not a safe razor. Been shaving my region for 15 years, my wife got me this for father's day. My very first time using it I got a huge chunk taken out of my sack and now have a very visible scar not to mention the fucking pain. We contacted them asking about the skin safe bs and telling them what happened. They said we must not have used it right and that the blade maybe defective so they sent us another blade. All ready cut my balls on the first pass, why the hell would I want another blade. I have pictures of the chunk of flesh in the blade after the incident, and this is how they respond, no accountability at all.
Please tell me you sent a picture of your mutilated sack to them for review....

Everything he said about the Manscaped was accurate based on my experience. The only thing I would add is that the battery life doesn't last 90 mins, even with the slow motor.

Well buy Rimington or Kingston 5 blade razor, he means smooth balls obviously, no real man shaves all their pubes off lol, just balls and under carriageway gets smooth criminal cut. Pubes onto get a number 5 with the beard trimmer, no stylin just just shortening, not too much so they are spiky, but enough to get rid of the wild bushman look.
I've been using a large Wahl corded hair trimmer for pretty much all the body, keeping the thing well oiled and no cuts so far. Blade never clogs up, you can always disassemble the blade assembly to clean the accumulated hair in there. Am I missing something?
Wahl is a good brand, the same with the remmington brand.
I had no idea, they were charging me money for the replacement. I just found it now and canceled it.

TBH the offer to replace blades is not bad at all but it should be optional not mandatory and if u are going to do that it should be a flat fee not a recurring one.

To cancel it just go to the manscaped website and login with the email you used to buy it. Go to account and replenishments. Cancel it and it the subscription will be inactive

Yup I seriously was bout to go buy it and googled lawnmower 3.0 and saw this and had to watch it before I bought it and glad I did. I saw a 5.0 rating but only 5 reviewers so seems like they ain't showing the bad ones but guess I'm getting the Brio now.

Aaron Linden me too. The whole ‘wE sAVe bALLs’ is just so fucking cringy. They try way to hard to be quirky and original, and even the way they advertise the razor and all the products is just so cringy and bad.
i bought the 2.0 a year ago, its only died on me once, i have not nicked my balls or anything else, and it does a good job overall. I wouldnt argue that its better than anything else, but its a decent product at least. I am however in love with the Plow, their razor. I used gillet, harrys, and a few others over the years, but the single blade basic ass razor is amazing to me. Also never cut myself with that one, though i'm sure it wouldnt be hard if you tried to go too fast or something. Also you can pay 80 (i know, still more than the brio) for the 3.0 and not have any subscriptions. Overall i would say this guy is probably right, and knows more than i do, but i dont think the manscaped products are bad, just not what theyre hyped up to be. And i do really like their underwear as well.

It's a standard shaver, that's all it is. There's heaps of cheaper options that are just as good.
Edit: will definitely check out the brio. I've been looking for something that can get though my partners thick facial hair without pullling it or dulling the blade after one or two uses and can shave evenly.
