Just found you videos. Great stuff!!! I was in the military for 20 years and I was never able to grow a beard. Been retired for a few years now, and kept a short beard during that time, but now I think I am going to try to grow a yeard! Thanks for the tips!
Hey there, thanks for sharing these tips, I have tried many products for growing beard and had no results, I thought that's a scam, until I got a product from amazon and got great results.
Good advice as always. Eighty-one yo here. I grew my first decent beard at 26. I have grown beards 5 times. I started my yeard in late October 2017. I was not clean shaven at that time as I have worn a short full beard for 25 years. I use beard oil as well as beard balm daily. I wash it 3x a week. It is totally white. Much different than the black when younger.
Yes! I'm fifty now. And, I have a grey tinge to my hair. But, my beard is mostly dark. Anyway, the more grey hairs I see in my beard, the more I like it. I don't necessarily want it all white... yet. But, I like the salt and pepper. Or, more like salt and cinnamon in my case. My wife continually wants to pull them out. But, I tell her if she does, I'll spank her. In reality, I just want to spank her. Maybe, I need to find a new method.
My fiance' insists that I keep my beard for our wedding, I'm going on 2 years with my beard! Happy wife, happy life, right? Haha love the videos, keep up the good work!
Great info! I started my beard in November and have followed your advice every step of the way and I couldn't be happier. I even started making my own beard balm, oils and shampoo after watching your DIY videos on that. Keep up the good work.
Started shaving at 12 years old, always had facial hair, tightly trimmed beard or goatee, but now I’m finally growing it out after 26 years. So far we are hitting an inch plus a month. 🤙🔥
I'm in the shipyard building industry and as a ship fitter we are required to be fully shaved everyday. I just landed a gig where I don't have to shave at all after 13 years it feels good to have some hair on my face good video brother, keep up the good work!
At the 5 month point for my yeard and really appreciated your advice in the video. But it was the 15:40 mark that convinced me to become a subscriber. 😜
I've been growing out my beard for most of the last 2 decades but I always ended up buzzing it down to the 4 guard after about 8 months due to not being able to keep it looking neat. Thank you! I'm now hopefully starting my FINAL grow out period. Cheers!
Definitely my go to channel when I’m trying to figure out how to take better care of my beard and also get the right products. You’re funny AF and entertaining! Thanks man
I've been able to grow the goatee area since I was 14, never had decent growth on the sides until I hit around 19-20. It wasn't until 20 that I took my beard seriously and started shaping and styling it, but always had it short, somewhere between 10mm and 16mm. I'm 21 now and have let it grow since November 2018, it's now about an inch long all around in January 2019. My goal is to have something big a decent by Christmas this year
I think I may have screwed up been growing mine since February and keeping it trimmed halfway down my neck but because of you I refuse to shave thank you for the confidence booster love your videos man thanks
Started to let my beard grow in March, 4 months later its looking great!!!, I'm also from the Middle East so genetic is playing a huge role especially the beard that I have for my age. I literally cannot wait to see how my beard will be in March 2019!!!
The first 2:30 Me: This guy seems cool and is informative about growing a beard 2:33 - BBUURRRRPP Me: Nice lol *Few secs pass & no apology for burping* Me: Double nice
Started my yeard the day I got out of the Army (5 FEB) and it has come in handy while living in Kuwait! LOL Hard to get beard products, but I will tuff it out. Ordered me some Artius stuff cuz you plug them all the time, can't wait to try them. Been getting by on Badass products and making my own....Love your videos, hope you keep doing them, they really have been a big help!!
I’ve grown mine lil over a year my beard sucked when I was younger too it’s finally gotten pretty Awesome in the last few yrs but this is longest I’ve ever had it and I’m not stopping
New to the channel, freshly subscribed. Happy to say on day 13 of my yeard. Learned how I was shaping my beard wrong (by your video) so I scrapped it and started fresh.
Carl Mauch I feel like such an asshole. I knew I shouldn’t wash my head hair daily yet assumed the opposite for my beard since it gets so much product. I assumed getting bumps was from not washing enough. Live and learn, right!?
Thanks for the great advice. Just started growing my yeard a week ago. Encouraging to know you’re half Arab, since I am too. I’m Arab and Puerto Rican so my beard grows fast but can get real nappy lol. Great video again, thanks Scuba. 🤙🏽
You have good genes, you'll probably grow a God beard. I'm Mexican, but my mom side has some more Spanish blood than most and my dad side is darker and much more native and don't grow beards much, but my mom side does, not all though. I didn't start growing my beard till 19 because I thought I couldn't grow one, but it's been a year and it's coming in pretty good so far. It's a medium beard. Not too thick, but not patchy or thin. Give it time, it'll come ✌🏽
Got my Brios for Christmas last year and literally have not charged them yet. I buzz my hair and I also trim my beard twice a month or so with them. THEY ARE AWESOME!
Great video! I’m about 6 months into my Yeard. Prob won’t look like yours at the one year mark, but I got high hopes! I co-wash about every other day thanks to a previous video you did. Your beard is my inspiration lol
I've been shaving ever since I was a teenager now in my thirties. I haven't shaved and now is growing like crazy. Each day, there's difference in length and fullness. Lol, all those years shaving has paid off it seems. Great video btw, keep up the content.
pretty funny, when I first met my wife she really wasn't a big fan of beards, or at least didn't care one way or the other about them, I had this same big beard back then as well, but she didn't really care to touch it, but now she loves my beard
Love the video, very humble talk. Thanks for the insight I like it how you compare your self to everybeard you dont discriminate against any beard. LONG LIVE BEARD BROTHER
Haven't shaved since Christmas Eve 2019. First time ever just letting it grow and I had to throw away my razors to keep myself from shaving. I want to trim it up but I dont wanna f*** it up.
Thanks for all the good information! I’ve never grown a beard longer than about an inch before now. I’m 43 and 6 months into my yeard and was lost about what the hell to do with this huge afro on my face. So I thought I’d u tube it. Your video was the first I clicked on and you’ve re inspired me to keep going! Thanks dude keep up the awesome work!
I've been following you for a few years. Your videos are very informative and helpful. Unfortunately, I can never master the art of trimming up the fly-aways on my beard. I just hit my 1st yeard last Monday. I'm just going to let it grow. I bought Honest Amish beard balm last week, and it's fantastic! I sure wish I had a barber around here that I could trust not to butcher my investment.
So im a couple months into my growth , and I went in a gas station and the cashier who was pretty and she asked to touch it, and I let her. So she's like its so soft. After I'm done paying for gas she hands me a receipt with her number on it.
What’s up Bro! Came across your channel a while back and it really inspired be to wanna grow a Yeard ! One month into it and it’s already thick. Your channel also opened me up to check out all the diff Beard companies and their products that you’ve displayed throughout your vids!
Went to artimus man and placed an order for the samples they have and within an hour I had a tracking number on the products I ordered can't wait till it gets here

Im 2 weeks in on my beard, which isnt long. But I have shaves every other day my entire life. Came across your videos and I just want to say you are so damn likeable dude. Keep it up.
Love watching your vids! Thanks for the detailed instructions, as the mother of the groom who will not go to a barber, I was left with the dury of beard trimming and hair cut for the wedding, YIKES!. Cut his hair in the past and yea a beard touch up! But after watching your vids, yes, this momma done good!!!..... THANKS!
I have a question for my fellow yeard growers. I'm 11 months and 16 days into my yeard but I'm completely over it. I want to shave it off so bad but my wife says that I need to stick it out for the full year. Do I go with her advice or do what I want. Please advise.
When I first started letting my facial hair grow when I was like 17 it would be really itchy now at 20 whenever I let it grow or shave or whatever it doesn’t itch at all haven’t felt itchiness for a very very long time to be honest
I'm on, like, month 3 of a full yeard experience, have had a weird goaty for a couole of years now. Never experienced itchiness. Like at all I'm 18 btw. And thanks for all the awesome and helpful content, greatly appreciated
Ty for the info brotha. This is my third time trying to grow my beard now I’m sticking with it now that I know what to expect and that there’s products out there to help get my beard where yours is at. I’m three months in now I can see guys aren’t born with a perfect beard. I’m definitely in it for the long haul now Ty again
Hey bro just subscribed ,2 month beard now and its growing thick fast and loving it. I reckon just now beard in public will encourage more men to go with the beard,in a world that is trying to destroy masculinity the beard is definitely a stand for men. From Australia.keep up the good videos mate.
love the beard, it takes me 6 or 7 months to grow a beard your length. I love to pamper my beard but you really don't need all the product you are talking about. I take a shower and wash my beard with shampoo and conditioner everyday, my beard is still the same. using beard oil makes your skin oily and you get ingrown hairs. I do use a leave in conditioner spray which leaves me soft and lookin good. The bigger the better my brother!!! It all boils down to genetics, some of us just get lucky.
That’s wild that’s this is a term, 8 months ago I told myself for the first time I’d grow my beard for an entire year. I’ve always grown an awesome beard but I’ve always gotten anxious about growing and after a few months I would chop it off. For me its really tested my patience and it’s definitely more effort and time to put into it but it’s definitely been growing insanely long. I just had it trimmed for the first time today and I was very apprehensive but it was looking very insane lately. But thanks for all the awesome advice and tips
Does anyone else have issues with collared shirts? I'm about 7 months in and the collar of my shirt pushes up on the sides of my beard causing it to flip outward. I dont want to keep trimming cuz I want a longer beard. Maybe I just gotta stop wearing collared shirts. Idk
Eric G Me too. Try buttoning all the way to top. I don't like that so I fold it down past the original fold so it lays flat around the neck. I wear them everyday like that. Might need to iron collar a couple times like that but eventually it seems to get trained in that position. My beard is like scuba's
Great video man, loving that Artius Man Orange Grove oil and balm. Looking forward to seeing the results of the cowash. I need to check out Scotch Porter. Your beard is looking great 👍🏻
Dude I bought the brio beardscape and wow. Best trimmers ever. Had so many bad ones that snag or run slow......dont cut nice but these are amazing! Thanks for the advice.
I'm going for a yeard and it's going pretty well. However the corners of my mouth are driving me nuts! My tongue won't stop lickin at them and I bite them, most the time without knowing until it hurts. I probably look special needs to people. Also... I vape so I collect alot of condensation in the booger broom which is a new experience.
It is nice to have a real man talking about products rather than a fashionista. Thank you. You have given hope to a normal, non musclebound, non suit wearing, beer drinking guy!
@@dannyreynolds9355 lol peppermint oil. Nothing will fix patchy beard aside form rogaine or just growing your beard out long enough to cover the patchy parts.
@@scottk1525 I'd suggest you do some research into derma rolling and peppermint treatment, it's proven to work. Plenty of people that have done it, just because you haven't heard if it, doesn't make it no possible.
@@dannyreynolds9355 lol "research." I'm sure there's no shortage of bro science on the topic. Let me guess, derma rolling works by "improving blood flow?" 😂
@@scottk1525 Dunno what the fk your on about, but plenty of information out there, not my problem if you're too lazy to go seek it. Goodbye non believer of dormant hair folacules? Probably a flat earther as well?...

I'm on, like, month 3 of a full yeard experience, have had a weird goaty for a couole of years now. Never experienced itchiness. Like at all
I'm 18 btw. And thanks for all the awesome and helpful content, greatly appreciated
Thumbs up for the random burp!
Hahaha, did the same and started looking for this comment!
U mean the random fart 👀
@@djlune wtf
I tried that honest Amish beard balm been using it all week and it is amazing thank you!
Coconut oil is way cheaper and at and grocery store and works just as good as “beard oils”
Not the same at all.
15:39 I've never subscribed to someone faster
Is that Tom Segura with a bigger beard???
Finally someone else sees it hahahaha
That is Tom Segura 🤣🤣🤣
Yes !
Try it out.
@@cmajor8084 try what
Ty for the info brotha. This is my third time trying to grow my beard now I’m sticking with it now that I know what to expect and that there’s products out there to help get my beard where yours is at. I’m three months in now I can see guys aren’t born with a perfect beard. I’m definitely in it for the long haul now Ty again
Thanks for the shout-out man!!!!
No problem man!! Thanks for supporting the channel!!
I’ve had a beard for probably 20 years. And this is the first year I started using any product. Smells great. Looks better too. Use product fellas.
Man, growing a yeard costs a lot of money. I'll take my chances, use RUclips, and make my own products.
CAN SAVE YOU LOTS OF MONEY!!!
Not really...a decent oil is cheap. Like 25 bucks. Youll use it in about 7 months if your beard is short
hey man awesome video great way of breaking up a video with a little humor ... great tips thanks for the advice
Is it normal to have one side of your beard that grows thicker than the other side?
yea of course, it happens to alot of people
thats what she said.
tyler griswold yea man it is completely normal even on your head it is common to have one side grow thicker and faster than the other
easily one of the best beard youtubes!
Kinda scared? Hahahahahaha Thanks for the shout out man. And thanks for all the great content you upload.
thanks so much man!! I try
Michael Myers good advice. I have one polo shirt that does that naturally. Guess I'll start ironing soon. And scuba's beard is my goal.
Don’t trim just tie your beard 🧔 There is different techniques on RUclips
Great video man, loving that Artius Man Orange Grove oil and balm. Looking forward to seeing the results of the cowash. I need to check out Scotch Porter. Your beard is looking great 👍🏻
Watching this in bed and my wife reckons I do wach the stupidest stuff lol she'll never understand 😎🧔
I get that condensation as well, i've started just giving the mustache a little trim along the bottom to help that.
Kegel Destroyer I have done the same thing. The Stache is a bit harder to get used to for me. But I’m used to it now
Kegel Destroyer,
I use mustache wax, self control and a comb. After awhile you can train the hair to not go in your mouth.
Kegel Destroyer trimming your mustache won't effect your beard. Use scissors so you don't get to close or go to far into your beard
Stop vaping.
I'm 17 and I honestly started getting my first beard hairs around middle school, shit was so weird now I got a pretty decent sized beard
15:40 Fart
It is nice to have a real man talking about products rather than a fashionista. Thank you. You have given hope to a normal, non musclebound, non suit wearing, beer drinking guy!
Oh, and kudos on the spin!
How to grow your beard
1) Stop shaving
2) No that's it
If your soulpatch grows patchy/bald, you'll also need to derma roll it and use peppermint oils. It's not as easy for everyone.
Raw Coconut oil is great for a beard too.
Something about your face reminds me of Tom Segura. Idk why I like that, but I do.
I love those clippers. They do not pull my hair at all. They cut my hair quickly with no pull.
2:33 15:40 click them right after the other 😂
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I just used your promo code and it took 15% off not 20 but still cool.
I was really concentrating on the talk with my headphones on (high volume) and all the sudden Surprise BURPS come in 😥
