In this episode of Helix Amps Revisited, I look at what some feel is the original "Dumble" style amp in the Helix, the Line 6 Litigator which is a Line 6 original "boutique" amp model. When dialed in properly this amp is capable of some killer "Dumbl'esque tones. I LOVE the Litigator model. It's one of the best low-to-mid gain models on the platform--sooooo sexy sounding. It's just everything you want in an amp that straddles the line between American and British crunch and really sounds expensive. Now I see why Tremonti went for a Dumble sound on CH2 of his MT100. I'll take a Dumble crunch over a straight Marshall crunch any day.

Love the Litigator! It remains one of the best Helix amps to me. You got some really nice tones here, and I especially like seeing how you can alter the sound by your adjustments to the compression and EQ.
