As we all now know, Firmware 3.60 for Helix and HX Stomp has been released and we have been given an incredible new amp model, the Grammatico GSG, which is a D-Style amp. In this video I take a deep dive look at what this amp is capable of and also have a free preset for everyone to grab. The electro voice adds something different than all the Celestion type speakers. Hopefully they already had Jensen speakers and or Oxfords for some of those old type Tweed amps. I do not own a Helix product yet just shopping around, it is either Helix stomp or a Tonex pedal.

Thanks for the free Helix preset. After the latest Pod Go update I have everything to create this sound too so I went through your json file and copied the settings.
My favourite amp in the Pod Go so far was the Litigator/Dumble, but this amp gives it stiff competition. ;)
GSG Ultimate is awesome!!! Sounds great out of the box with my LP and headrush frfr.

Does anyone know if Pod Go will get this amp?
Great tones from your Presets, but it seems that in the Ultimate Version of them, there are some modulation blocks who aren't stereo, and therefore sum the previous mods back up to mono. Is this a deliberate choice, or an oversight?

@@JasonSadites in both the GrammGSGUltimate and the Elmsly are the Bubble Vibrato (after the liquifier) aswell as the lo/hi shelf mono-blocks
I just went to check them and noticed those. I am not sure how that happened. Easy fix though :-) I have already fixed them and submitted them to Marketplace so in the next day those will be updated and all good. I really appreciate you letting me know :-)
I never knew what the fuss was about bwith dumbles. But now I understand, this amp is beautiful. Had a look at the elmsley but don't quite get it. Probably need more time with it.
Yeah, same here, probably because of its mythical status compared to other amp brands! But when I updated my Helix today, I couldn't stop playing with this amp! Not to mention, I was just using the factory preset! It's incredibly well done and the touch sensitivity is top-notch. It gets even better if you push the sag around 7-7.5!

I did the update on mine yesterday and now nothing sounds right. My double take effect now sounds like a horrible chorus pedal
So is there a way to switch amp channels on this amp? And can I do this with other models? I’ve been having a time figuring that out..maybe you’ve posted somethin before?
Yeah you can just assign a footswitch to the od on/off.
Line 6 should re-do their HX Edit gui .. you can make it work but not a fan !🤨

@@Crabfather I think Fractal audio's GUI is way better .. a lot easier on the eyes.. I like the graphics to be a little larger and the backdrop a little brighter .. everything very clear and concise !
