I’m all for budget eating but you gotta add in some stuff you’re excited about it you’re going to stick to it. This haul seems like a good mix of both!
First off I have enjoyed the content for now, just found ya. Thank you for this information. A couple budgeting ideas to tweak down pricing. Frozen broccoli and frozen brussel sprouts are hella cheap and pretty good, also easier/quicker to cook from what I understand. Also nut milks while being lower calories(25 to 50 vs fat free milk at 80 to 100) usually don't seem to have much protein(cashew is the highest at 4 to 5g almond is only 1 to 2g) and I would do store brand fat free milk, about 2/3 the protein(8 to 9g vs the 13 of fairlife) but like 1/2 price.
Hey, do you have any suggestions for frozen brussels sprouts? I tried them once and they were awful -watery, mushy, terrible taste. Is there a secret? I do frozen broccoli all the time and have no problem with that.
Man this was the best grocery haul/meal prep recipe video I’ve seen and I’ve watched over a hundred here on RUclips. I’m most definitely heading to the store this weekend and following the recipes to the t. Thanks so much.
i love your grocery hauls! but as someone who wants to be more plant based, if you're up for the challenge, do you think you could try a full day of high-protein vegan meals?
This makes me really interested in doing a grocery shop here (Sweden) because it all sounds super expensive. 5 dollars for a breakfast? Do they add taxes to what you buy as well, I know they do in some states. Edit: I actually just made my overnight oats according to this receipe, with a more expensive brand of protein nonetheless. Less than $1.50. I am blown away.
In my opinion, chicken and beef is a way better mix than turkey and beef. Wash your rice before cooking it!!!! It'll look and taste better after. Great video! Keep up the good work bruh!
Joey Suggs is back at it! Just got my MRI results back and have bulging discs at L4/L5 & L5/S1, alongside annular tear at L5/S1... Hopefully will be able to somehow make a return to the gym fully consistently and without pain at some point. Last time I was painless was back in May, so it definitely is rough... I'm 20 years old though, so hopefully that'll help a little with recovering from such things... TLDR: DON'T NEGLECT FORM ON DEADLIFTS BOYS AND GIRLS!
I’ve followed a gym bro diet for the last decade. Now having a family I’ve turned to you and Marcus filly to live more flexible sustainable lifestyle. My son is almost three and is already adapting the anabolic lifestyle 😂
Another great video! The grocery hauls combined with recipes are awesome! Love your content and ideas. Your molten lava cake is still a go-to of mine. :-D Thanks Joey!!
This was a fun video/challenge -- though if you really wanna challenge yourself, I would love to see you try this for $50 for 21 meals + desserts. Is it possible???
On the chicken thighs how many ounces per meal ? Awesome video thanks for putting this video together!! I’m definitely gonna go to Publix and meal prep for sure !!
Just for sanitary reason, you shouldn’t cut meat on wooden boards. The wood will absorb a lot of the bacteria and even cleaning it thoroughly won’t help. Use plastic for cutting any meat.
hi joey great vid I'm in Australia I'm going to use some of your meal prep ideas here but we can't get the sugar free sweet baby rays here in stores so unless you go through the hassle and expense of buying on amazon you can't get it, but the buffalo wing sauce we can get in stores and that looks naturally low in sugar so I'm getting that, have you tried that one on your chicken yet?

Completely agree! I normally think about groceries as an investment in my self and we’ll being!
The apron with no shirt is hilarious to me. 😂 I can’t stop giggling. Super funny and entertaining.
I love the budget idea. That’s what I’m looking for. This is a really well done video.
Love that there are multiple meals in this.
I barely see anyone use transparent labs but I love them, their creatine is top tier for me

i love your grocery hauls! but as someone who wants to be more plant based, if you're up for the challenge, do you think you could try a full day of high-protein vegan meals?
I could play around with this for sure👌
@@JoeySuggs another idea is a dollar tree haul! i've actually seen some pretty good stuff there (like protein pancake mixes)

$5 was a high estimate but so yes you could definitely do it for much cheaper👌
I was just thinking what I was going to eat for the next week to put in my grocery list, these meals looked really good 😊
Cheerios with Greek yogurt is always my bed time snack I could eat it all day and yes cheerios are decent volume
Factssss always a fav for me too!
In my opinion, chicken and beef is a way better mix than turkey and beef. Wash your rice before cooking it!!!! It'll look and taste better after. Great video! Keep up the good work bruh!
The rice cooker actually strains it as well and then uses the steam to cook the rice👌
I enjoyed this video. Please continue to make more like this one. I can’t wait to try these recipes.
Dude you're such a beast with the recipes!! Killer budget too man. Loving this content!
Love what I do👌

Another great video! The grocery hauls combined with recipes are awesome! Love your content and ideas. Your molten lava cake is still a go-to of mine. :-D Thanks Joey!!
Yesss the molten lava cake needs to make it back on the channel soon🙌
This was a fun video/challenge -- though if you really wanna challenge yourself, I would love to see you try this for $50 for 21 meals + desserts. Is it possible???
Lmaooo that’s crazyyyyy
Can u pretty please do one for very busy people !!!! Like microwave/ precooked/prepackaged meals. I’m a veryyyyyy bust nursing student.
Then you should know cooking from scratch is worth it for your health.
Thinking about a full day of only microwave foods👌
That right there before Covid would be exactly $50 or $60
lean ground turkey is amazing for high protein diets. Just kixnit with your stir fry sauce of choice
Yesss so good👌
Thank joey this video help a lot,im doing that now BUT NOW YOU SHOW ME A NEW WAY THANK YOU.
Yessss love to hear it👌
Joey, one of the best videos so far 🔥 💪🏾
Yooo thank you forreal!
Joey, as a Filipino who eats rice often. Rinse your rice! Lol but great recipes! Can’t wait to try
Lmao the rice cooker has a strainer in it and steams the rice
Awesome video! I think the comments about the rice is to rinse it so it cleans it. The steam just cooks it but always rinse first!
This was great! Maybe some from Walmart or Aldi for even better pricing.
Yes could raspier have saved even more money if I wanted to👌
Love a good haul!!!
Yesssss forsure👌
I can’t with Perri 😂❤️ anyone who touches my perfectly plated macros gets a karate chop to the throat 😭
Lmaoo I’ve learned to deal with it now😂
Cookbook!! 🗣😄 Great video Joey!
I’m working on it I promise😅

Suggs with the accidental 40/40/20 macro split 😎
Lmaoo not even trying and still can’t miss
Curious why you didn't go for the off brand oatmeal. Ps new subscriber and I love your content
Idk honestly I’ve just always used Quaker!
@@JoeySuggs I get u. I actually just noticed I also have Quaker at home rn lmao. Apparently it's worth the difference to get that quaker quality.
Fire as always
Yesss appreciate ya bro👌
Nice refresher. Forgot combining meats for fat and flavor.
Yessssa game changer👌
I work out very light in the morning. Should I still be using a lot of protein powder like you do?
Definitely not necessary but can help in the long run!
Just for sanitary reason, you shouldn’t cut meat on wooden boards. The wood will absorb a lot of the bacteria and even cleaning it thoroughly won’t help. Use plastic for cutting any meat.
I don’t even clean it after I use it either damn
????
its not that deep , I would think lol
Omg relax Karen
Jeez
@@JoeySuggs Above isn’t wrong. Even when you clean it, the wood is porous and absorbs.
walmart and aldi are even cheaper:)
Yessss gotta head there next!
140 ml is half of 240 ml.. Yeap, that sounds about right! :)
Facts
