Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Nike Metcon 9, James. It's great to hear your honest feedback about its comfort and stability for various exercises. The grip for rope climbs sounds impressive too! Keep up the good work with your training, and looking forward to more reviews from you. Take care and stay well!

Interesting bit of footwear James. I have wondered what the rubber padding was on the side of those shoes. Now I know. 😎🤘

I think I would rather be slower on a rope climb and not have that brown chip paper wrapped around each shoe. Its a no from me James. Which wide Altra trail shoe would you recommend I go for to replace my Olympus?

Thanks Phil… tricky one, either just another Olympus (safe) or try the Mont Blanc … that said, topo athletic have some interesting options now.
Just bought the Olympus gtx mid hiker … great for rucking. (Just got them today)

saying that a nike shoe is wide makes you loose some credibility

I have definitely found the Nike trail shoes like the ultrafly and wildhorse plenty wide enough … some are even wider (at the widest part) than Altra in similar sizes … the road shoes are nt as accommodating though !
      👍
