I have been a big fan of the Under Armor tribase, especially their durability. Each shoe lasts 18-24 months, easily. For context, I workout 5-6 days a week doing cardio, HIIT, and lifting, so they definitely see some wear.
Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely looking at picking up a pair of those for myself as my Nike metcon 6 are definitely in need of an upgrade now. Do you do many shorts runs in them?
@@STAGFITNESS They do great for short sprints and lateral movement; I would not recommend going over 800m in them. I use them mainly for plyo and lifting, and they hold up well without any discomfort. I have both the Nike Metcon and the Under Armor tribase on my short list.
Wearing barefoot shoes completely transformed my workouts. They allow my feet to move naturally, which improved my stability and form during lifts. Over time, I’ve felt my legs and feet grow stronger. I personally use Hykes Max. They’re minimalist, durable, and really comfortable. It’s like rediscovering how your feet are meant to function. What do you think about barefoot shoes for working out?
Barefoot shoes are definitely on my list to try and I agree they let your feet function correctly and allow for more movement, support and stability when working out. I will try and do a breakdown soon, are there any you would recommend me trying?
I would go with the same size as they have a wider base for lifting. I'm looking at those or probably going to go with the Metcon 9's, as ive had no issues with the 6. Let me know what you do decide and how you get on with them please.
I love my Project Rock 6
Always wanted to try a pair of those.
