Very well spoken video,I work in the service dept of a GM dealer and none of us want anything to do with a EV.Dodge and Ram are dead, the hemi was the essence of the brand.
I would never buy any ev or hybrid junk from any manufacturer or any thing from gm shit....
If all manufacturers have to go to 100% EVs. I’ll just drive used gas cars til I die.
Stellantis European Company control was the worst thing to ever happen to the Dodge, Ram , Jeep and Chrysler brands 🤮🤮🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😤😤👎👎👎👎
Kentucky here dodge is not selling shit 💩 in my area. I believe dodge is in big trouble if they keep pushing this electric vehicle crap.💩
People don’t buy dodge anymore because all the dealers ripped off and scammed all their customers. I won’t step foot in another Dodge dealership after my last experience. I saw first hand that greed and lies from the dealers. They don’t have to be accountable for anyone. I tried to file a complaint with Stellantis and they told me they don’t have anything to do with a dealership and their operations beside the fact that they bare their trademark.
It has nothing to do with EV's, they aren't selling anything period. Ppl don't even want your beloved hellcats anymore.
OCMotivator Friend thank you for putting out the news ,that we need to hear 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃😃💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
Take away government incentives and cafe penalties. let the free market decide.
People were buying the Prius before all this stuff happened. It would reach a natural balance and the best option would eventually win as technology advanced.
But you see that would be true freedom, and we can't have that.
You want to remove a system that when in place for 50 years? Yes, bring back acid rain.
@@cblue3581 learn to spell otherwise you look ignorant....cafe does nothing except make vehicles more expensive.....
You're calling be out but you grammatically couldn't write one sentence? Sorry, my bad ToddlerCowboy. So again I ask, you want to remove a system that's been in place for 50 years? @@truckercowboyed2638
You definitely hit the nail on the head, with phones. I remember when phone was practically free and you paid just for the service. Now it's crazy. Also the interior of these Evs with a flat screen sticking out of dash is disgusting. I wouldn't pay 30k for most of these bland interiors.
Yes, you're right. Give us the same interior since 2014.
Stellantis says to Bud Light, wait, hold my Hornet!
I always laugh when ppl boycott companies. Drive down that stock so I can buy it cheap, thanks buddy.
@@cblue3581well a fool soon departs with his money so......
So true information Brad. All you said is dead on. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Amen brother! 👍
Perhaps the 6.4 in the Grand Wagoneer. But for most of us, Stellantis will probably impose more I6 turbos instead.
It's going to take willpower from the Mopar nation. But we have to ignore all the desperate price cuts coming on those 2023 cars in order to force Stellantis to sell Dodge etc to an American company. Hang tough!
That would be cool but I doubt it. Stilantis is moving out of America would make sense to sell it to an American as they have no chance at selling in America as the past has shown. On the flip side america has become over 30% more expensive on every item which is why everything is outsourced but everybody’s leaving as expected even ford and Chevy. Biden wants cheap expensive cars on a cloud budget convincing the world under the green flag and some science of projected death figures due to the emissions 😂 now everybody’s seeing reality.
LOL, they will never sell if no one wants the cars.
The jeep dealer near me just finished a huge remodel in and out a few months ago. Their back lot sits off a back road the I drive several times a month. They went from maybe 2-3 wranglers to 25-30. Just in the back lot. They have another 30+ on the main lot. Cherokees they never carried many and still don't have many. Liberties are the same. It actually looks like a manufacturer lot at this point.
Good talk , thanks for the info.
Hemi is history. Mic drop!
Sir, You are 100% correct and on point in this video!!!! You ROCK my friend!!!
Don't forget how much of a fire hazard. It takes over 4,000 gallons of water to put out a fire on a electric vehicle but that doesn't guarantee that the fire won't recumbust because of the materials inside of the batteries on these cars..
Checks notes...man is worried about driving an EV but instead drives a car that can combust from fumes alone. Make it make sense.
@@cblue3581 you obviously didn't read my comment. When a regular combustion engine vehicle catches on fire, it doesn't take over 4000 gallons to put out the fire like an EV. Maybe you should talk to firefighters who have to deal with these kinds of fires all the time before making an ignorant comment!!! Go do some research!!!
I stopped reading your idiotic comment after fire hazard. They are less of a fire hazard then ICE or hybrids but statistics won't stop you. The suggestion is 3,000 gallons and the recommendation is to let it burn if it's not a risk to others, which most car fires pose no risk to others. @@hailstorm1986
Really liked the take if the internal combustion engine was invented today vs the world of EVs. In reality it is a pretty eye opening comment that brings a smile to my face thanks for sharing.
Great video. 👍 I absolutely agree with everything that was said in this video. 👏
Trump did say in his next term in office he will support the Manufacturing of more hybrid cars rather than full electric cars.
Mach Es as Xmas decorations!! 😂😂😂
For a limited production EV. The Mach E sold
41,000 copies while the Hornet sold only 9300 copies.
there is a dealership selling a 2023 hellcat for 66k and msrp is is 72
Got 1 for about 68 in Alabama
Now those are good deals. Nice. Hope the Prices keep dropping 😆
Where is this here in new york they still asking 18 - 20 over
@@sokolculi2727 even if you live in NY, you don’t have to buy there. I don’t live in Alabama, but I drove there and bought the hellcat narrow body for 68k, pretty much fully loaded with all the options and had about 2k miles on it. It was used, no cosmetic or engine damage that I could see, and it drove fine, so I bought it lol. The window sticker was originally about 83k with all the options, and it was going for 68. Just be patient and keep looking but in the meantime make sure you’re in the right position to afford it, because it’s not just monthly payments, it’s gas and maintenance and insurance as well. 💪🏽

Great info Brad! Right on point!
If the socialists aren't voted out this year then we can absolutely forget about the Hemi coming back with any decent production or any new V8 at all.
There ain't no socialists in office. Dodge dealerships piling up gas powered cars sitting on lots not selling.
Amen
Love your videos 🔥
If they really do bring back the Hemi V8 that would be great but I doubt that'll ever happen.
No one will buy it. Look at the amount sitting on lots right now.
@@cblue3581nobody is buying them because their overpriced. Not because they don’t want a hemi

Unfortunately, stellantis won't see the light....they will either sell CDJR or just liquidate brands.
You have to save a Mach e and a Rivian

The high note!
I hope the hemi do come back I have no problem with ev but waiting 25 to 45 mins to charge my car on a road trip is crazy
try towing a 7000lb airstream with a ev truck see how far one goes what do I do with the trailer went at a charge station ?
But that 25-45 min is just about the same as stopping for gas multiple times
@@OtmbEl I drive for 1hr or so stop top off with gas and go or I can drive till the truck is almost empty, have more than one gas station to pick from . EV truck will eat my electric going over the doner pass on I 80 sac to Reno Nevada

I wish GM would bring back the Camaro, such a shame they retired it again.
There are many new technologies they are working on to power vehicles and industrial equipments. Hydrogen, solar, bio, fuel, to name a few. Time will tell!

The whole point of the electric mandate is to reduce emissions. But it just moves the goalpost, not solves the problem. What about using a different fuel, like alcohol? Not much to change, plus it works with a hemi.
Politicians are not qualified to make these social, scientific decisions.
Your comments are valid, I’ve been saying we need the choice for electric cars, but we also need the batteries to be efficient and economical and an infrastructure to support the vehicles. I cannot see a future where I only own an electric car. Keep up the great content. Brad!

I honestly think people don't understand the magnitude of the cobalt mines. If people actually stood in front of one and not only saw how massive and deep they are, but also the working conditions of these slaves working them, people would be horrified. I don't understand destroying our planet and mining these massive craters, in the name of saving the planet........
Terrific video...just hope the right people are listening. Based on all the articles you showed, a lot of folks are listening. As a former DCJR dealer, I have been shouting to the wind that this EV fiasco is going to die on the vine...at least in the foreseeable future. Fossil fuels will continue to be the major energy source for all cars...even for the few EV's that may be bought by the propeller heads.
EVs only sold because of the tax credit. Which surprise, rich people can only afford.
Amazon is buying the Rivian vans for delivering. The large plant is in Bloomington, IL
All they have to do is change the fuel
I felt that hybrid point you made regarding the Hemi, and what makes it even more sad is the fact that they technically already are halfway there with 4xe. The 5.7 in the Ram 1500 specifically would be an awesome place to apply 4xe since you have so many options to mount batteries and go beyond what they already have with the Jeeps. A Hemi with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain that could go about 50 miles on all electric before switching back to gas would be perfect for me as a daily driver. That's more than I need to get to work and back. I have a 2014 1500, and there's enough room under my rear seats that if Ram were to have forgone the subwoofer and cubbies it would be a perfect place to fit a battery back. One there and one behind the seats would have probably done the trick.
#OCMotivator Hello at the end of your video you said your in a V10 Hemi. What year an model did they put a V10 in the Challenger?
I know there is a 3.6 , 5.7 , 6.1 , 6.2 , only ones I found that had the V10 they only made like 10. I think that what it said. I would love to see the motor in that car. I have ordered a 2006 SRT8 Magnum. It was number 6 on the line. I bought 3 R/Ts Magnums. An I found another used SRT8 Magnum 2006. At the time they was fast for what it was. I stop buying new cars I found a 2019 Challenger 3.6 Plus. 0 to 60 mph is 3.6. It only has 50,460 miles paid $21,450. I bought to drive an flip later. I only owned it so far 2 months. Has now 51,010 miles. I drive my Hummer more. I bought a new SRT10 Truck in 2004 was the auto transmission. Because I lost both my legs above the knees at my job. Was a tow truck driver I was hit on the hwy an drug 213 ft down the road. In 1993 I was 29 years old. Life lives on injoy it.
That Mary Barra leading GM is going to keep building EVs even if they are not selling. I think the board of directors is so liberal that they can't stop pushing electric cars. Our government will probably end up bailing them out, which sucks.
Also, did you sell or trade your Demon 170?
The biggest thing is fast (super) charging a battery shortens the life of a battery
True
I'd love to get a plug-in hybrid -- I usually drive around town an could run straight off electricity. I would charge off 120V rather than installing a fast charger or whatever. On longer trips, just fill up the gas tank and go. (And, in cold weather, have a gas engine to get things going when it's very cold.)
Electric car? No thanks! Long term, there might be a mature and widespread charging infrastructure. But there sure isn't enough now, and I'm just not setting the rapid expansion I'd need for that to be even close to viable by 2030 or 2035 or whatever.
I have wondered, why can’t you have an electric generator on the electric car that recharges your batteries?
Exactly! Why all the Plug-in Hybrids and not this already proven design??!!!
💯💯💯
100%
I'll keep my challenger fifteen shaker and they can keep the rest
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If they were smart they would. Mercedes-Benz decided to bring back their V8's after downsizing the AMG V8 to a 4 cylinder.
I wonder how much money rivia is getting from the government.
Perfectly said man. Can't trust a politician, especially the ones in the current administration. I am wondering if Stellantis is trying to destroy the dodge name.
As a delivery driver, I can spend $30 to go 500 miles in a Prius. In a Tesla I could charge for $25 and go 300 miles… let’s say it takes 30 - 60 minutes to charge, which would amount to missing out on making another $15 to $35 of delivering I could be doing… anyway, I have done the exact math before and see that difference is around $40 for the stop. The Tesla will cost $25 to go 300 miles and the Prius will cost $18 to go 300 miles but when you account for the cost of the time being wasted… the Prius would have paid for the gas to go 300 miles in 30-40 minutes and then maybe made another $10 all while the Tesla is charging…
so Tesla = -$25
& Prius = +$10 to $20
The only way electric makes sense is if you aren’t living in an apartment and can charge all the power you need over night.
I'm on the same side, bring on whatever technology/fuel you want, just give us the choice.
Got it
The hemi is just an awesome machine
Yet no one wants it anymore
Well if they do with these so called last calls..some folks will want to sue them
You make some wonderful points, and I’m not here to call you an old-fashioned environment hater. We definitely need more charging stations, and I’m sorry that there were too many EVs in your office parking lot. There’s a demand for the charging stations, and the lack of them is slowing future sales.
Insider knowledge: GM is modifying the Ultium platform to a PHEV in response to the pushback on full EVs. They will have a 200 mi EV range with a 1.3l engine serving as a generator.
The Hemi isn’t returning. For those hoping for Stellantis/Dodge/Chrysler to fail, if they do, then that will be it. No one will step up to purchase the rights for Dodge or Chrysler. (Insider knowledge on this one, too)
We were in the market for a Mach-E and a Model Y last January but got turned off by the preorder waitlist (6 months out) and ridiculous markups everywhere for the Mach-E. Holy shit I’m glad we got swayed away from EVs and picked up a C8 and Macan instead. We’re staying away from EVs and keeping our old 2012 Prius hybrids, especially with the whole EV debacle coming to light.
The Cybertruck looks like you are driving a stealth bomber.
We got a call from the Dodge dealer today me and my wife we both have charges What would we like to get into some new cars. We said nope.
same here " we have that demon 170 in the show room for you , how much only $100k over we did turn down $$,$$$ over make us a offer so we can move the metal
Rivian just showed off a sports car that looks like a Ferrari Lamborghini but I agree with you they're probably not going anywhere

I am getting a tesla but I am not getting rid of my hemi or my diesel truck... evs should be an option not forced to buy....
I could see them keeping Jeep and selling the rest off. Ram might lose a lot of sales with no Hemi too, 20 years of marketing the Hemi and then abruptly dropping it will switch half those buyers to 5.0 fords and Chevy v8s
As i said before if dodge came out with a revised 5.7l and pair that with a hybrid that would be a great muscle alternative to getting rid of v8's altogether and keep the brand alive
I've been saying the entire time EV's will NOT EVER take over ICE engines, the manufacturers know this as well, everyone's just biding time until new leadership gets in, auto companies are praying Trump gets in and stops the retardation. And its up to us to keep the pressure on these industry killing policies and make sure car companies are aware we hate them to.
Yes, EVs should be an option, GAS engines are here to stay
Toyota hybrid/ hydrogen possibly good technology
Dodge: Did we say “Last Call” We was just bull 💩Mannn…😂💯
last call until we make a new one!
If you can’t charge at home I agree it’s slightly silly to buy an ev especially anything other than a Tesla but even a Tesla
Stellantis needs to go bankrupt so an American investment company with American values can take Dodge/RAM back 💯
As if Dodge/RAM didn't have problems under American ownership before being bought by Stellantis
Electric cars are great for quick inner city running around. That's it.
They jacked up prices to pay for the ev r and d and they aren't selling anything they are brand new challengers and chargers they can't sell because of the mark ups and interest rates are up as well so its a perfect s storm
While it’s nice to have the EV as an alternative to traverse around the cities to try and reduce pollution, as a permanent solution, good freaking luck. It’ll never work. Besides, the ICE isn’t broken. Why try to replace it? I know you and several other people have said something similar to this, but I’m throwing out my two cents. As for a new Hemi, it’d be nice, but we’ll have to wait and see. I’d like a new Hemi, though.
Great work on the video. Keep it up. :)
Return? They can't sell the ones they've already produced. The 4 largest market day supplies in the country are on the Hornet, Charger, Mustand Mach-E, and the Challenger.
car flippers are stuck /resale market last calls ,demon 170s ,30 on e bay motors none are selling. bids are dead at $160,100 buy it now $225,000 one car had many expired listings
There only hope is literally EV's
@@cblue3581 People who like the sound of the V8 or like burning up tires are the only people buying the HEMis, and it's a disappearing market. A true performance guy is not going to buy a $90,000 Hellcat when he knows he'll be beat by a $50,000 Tesla. Not only that, even a skilled racer in a Hellcat can't beat his grandmother in the Tesla - all she has to do is floor the accelerator and hold on. After the race, the Tesla can cruise home getting the equivalent of over 100 mpg. The ICE show is played out. The EV show is just beginning.
100% honest here. I don't think bringing back the hemi will fix stellantis. The problem isn't ev...its manufacture pricing practices. Ram pricing keeps going up at least $2k every year. I compared my 2022 ram to a similar 2025 ram and pricing has increased by at least $5k.
most are loaded with options , stuff that could be removed to save money and wt ,increase payload , jeeps too over priced , jeeps best off-road grand Cherokee 4xe trail hawk is $68k grand Cherokee summit reserve $75k
I hope they sell the brand to a company that will make a factory in the USA that produces enough street legal race cars that they can meet the minum requirement to re-enter Nasacar arena.
Not to mention EV byrn through tires slit faster because of the weight difference to ICE cars. The new EV chargers weight as much as a Cadillac Escalade
EV’s are collapsing before very eyes, but they were collapsing from the day they started..lol
Well sir, I tell people all the time if you don’t buy it, they won’t build it. Car manufacturers are in the making money, not creating yard ornaments. Also, Mercedes is bringing back the VHC 63 because the electric cars are not selling. Also, Porsche, CEO already said they’re not going totally electric, none of my cars or electric and I enjoy both of them. I have Mclaren, Gt also a Porsche Carrera 4S. I love my ICE cars only takes a few minutes to fill them up with fuel and I’m on my way and I drive as fast as I feel like it don’t have to worry about waiting to charge🤣🤣🤣
Rivian is building a new facility in Georgia, Toaster bait!!
According to the EV extremists, EVs are the best invention since sliced bread!
People don’t bring up the fact that the Hemi engine is made in Mexico. That would be an interesting conversation
They will eventually sell dodge and chrysler but they aren't letting jeep or ram go
li feel bad for all the last call buyers if they do bring em back
EV right in the garbage. By the way Chevy is doing to the Camaro just like what dodge did to the Chargers and the Challengers the prices are of the chart. The Camaro ZL1 is up around $30,000 higher than last year. The public is getting screwed again. I wanted a Challenger but the prices are off the chart as you well know. In fact I found two Black Ghosts that were 198,000 and then reduced to $110,000. I looked to buy either one. When I made a call one was sold and the other went back to $198,000.
Stellantis is run by the French. European automakers in france are well known for high-quality vehicles. Wouldn't be surprised if stellantis drains cash from ram & jeep. Then, attempt to sell the brand or transfer production to europe.
I know this won't be a popular opinion, but i feel like musk/tesla should buy them. Just think, they could build whatever they want with those cafe credits.
CDJR has been passed around like a cheap hooker.
How many owners in just the past 20 years?
Pretty sure I have a better chance of buying a mid engine 5.0 T bird from Ford than the foreigners running Dodge bringing back a Hemi.
Stellantis won't bring back the Hemi, even though they should. They are hell bent on destroying CDJR in the US. Plus, they have too much invested in the EV and the stupid Hurricane that nobody wants.
As much as I love an unnecessarily large V8 a modern twin/single turbo I6 is such a good alternative. Take bmws b58 for example. If you maintain it properly they are super reliable and can make insane power with very little modification unlike the hemi platform
what do they need to return for? theres thousands of them not even bought
Man if they could bring back the hemi v8 then yamaha should bring back the banshee 350. 😁
March 5th will be the official day Dodge becomes Ford’s number 1 customer 😊.
lol that scripture was crazy to think
Truck stop parking spots are being used to create EV charging stations putting even more strain on the never ending truck parking shortage.
