- I am shocked to find this new car dealer scam from a Ford dealership. What's even more outrageous is the vehicle they have it on!

I put a "do not steal" sticker on my Catalytic Converter so I'm covered.
U should start a business w/ ur stickers
My security cameras just tell them "Go ahead, make my day!"
🤣👍
😂😂😂 👍🏼
I put a Radio Shack security system stickers on my house windows so everyone knows I buy junk and there's nothing inside worth stealing.
I have a trained attack dog sleeping under my truck. Good luck!
Semper Fi!
I loved the catalytic converter protection for a vehicle that doesn’t have one. No wonder they are called “stealerships”!
😮. Why I order when buying new...
I wonder how many people never paid that much attention to notice what the fee was for?
@@garretlewis4103I’d say it’s a coin toss whether Joe Average off the street knows what a catalytic converter actually is, or whether EVs have them. Anyone watching this channel almost certainly knows that EVs have no cats, of course, but I’m sure there are plenty of buyers out there who wouldn’t spot the scam.
CAT thieves: They'll rob behind you.
DEALERS: They rob you face-to-face.
The difference: The dealer can afford lobbyists and lawyers.
@@kc4cvh And both belong in prison forever. RIP

I got one you may never have heard before; I bought a used 2011 Honda Accord and took it to an independent mechanic who did all the brakes with me helping. A month later, I got a coupon for an oil change at a Honda Dealer in Milwaukee and took it in for a cheap oil change. They sent out a 'representative' (20 something blond chick) who told me I needed brakes, that the pads were worn and it wouldn't be safe to drive because the thinness of the pads will soon fail and the drive will feel mushy. I blew her off, knowing the brakes were fine but when driving away found that the drive did feell mushy, so i pulled over and called my buddy and he said; 'check your tire inflation', I did and all my tires were set to 14 lbs. The dealer deflated all the tires down over 50% in order to scam me into purchasing a $1200 brake job that wasn't needed. I drove back to the dealer and spoke to the service manager who not only refused to rack-up the vehicle to show me the worn pads, but also accused me of letting the air out of my tires. I reported them to Honda USA and got no response.
The "you need new brakes" scam is an old one but I've not heard of the "drive will fee mushy / let air out of the tires" twist. I'm lucky. We have a truly great set of independent garages here. If they say your brakes need attention it's 100% guaranteed they do, and they'll do only what needs doing and at a fair price. The dealership where we buy our cars from also has an honest shop (strange but true). But I go to the independent place for other reasons as well.
Ah, the old your brakes will feel mushy trick! As Maxwell Smart would say to the chief.
@@xlerb2286 Are you in denial? The only town in the world with all competent, honest mechanics and business owners? Is it named Shangri-la? And which of those businesses do you own? 😂
@@ramblerdave1339 Not in denial. I've known the fellow that owns the garages for 24 years. He's one in a million. He hires the best mechanics, treats them right, and is more interested in charity than making money. I won't go into details here but most of the profits from the garage go directly to charity. And that legit charity - goods and services directly to the people that need it.
The independent shop has female staff that all have a good set of personalities? @@xlerb2286
I went to order a 2024 Kia Forte GT manual yesterday at the Louisville East end store, they refused to give the price breakdown. They up charged the sales price by $3100 dollars over the MRSP on the Kia website. I knew it was going downhill as soon as the salesman broke out the 4 square paper. I walked out.
Where do you think most of my scam video ideas come from? 😉 smart move walking out.
Your first mistake was trying to buy a Kia lol. Stay away from those garbage cars. ChevyDude will tell you to stay away!
If everyone just walked out when the BS started, the car dealership business would change overnight. That is in addition to the fact that Hyundai/Kia dealerships are the worst, and I mean the absolute worst dealerships in most cities, mine included.
They prey on the lower income and less educated to fleece them with ridiculous monthly payments where they bury the fact they are charging people way above MSRP.
They are like a festering plague around here...
Good on you for walking out. A good tactic as a customer is to whoop out a piece of crinkled receipt paper and do the math on it. I did this once and made the sales person nervous. They didnt like it at all 😂. Shame on dealers for making this such a horrible experience almost every time.
I went to my local Ford deal last summer to price out a 2023/24 ecoboost premium Mustang. We have been buying 2 cars every 5 years since 1997 when we got married. He dad was a ford factory retiree so we got Z-plan price. He passed in 2003 and her mom passed in 2018, so we lost that. I joined the DAV as a life member in 2017, so we had the X-plan to fall back on. The price difference is 2% vs the 4% for z-plan. They were not honoring X-plan because they wanted to up charge the car even though I was ordering one from the factory and those plans don't allow them to deviate from the plan price (aside from the dealer options). I didn't buy a new Mustang last summer and they missed out on a used 2017 in excellent condition with only 24K miles.
Cadillac converter???🤣🤣🤣🤣
The guy calls himself "chevy dude" what do you expect? Intelligence? 😂
I can turn my car into a Cadillac? Where do I get that accessory?
Yeah, he thinks words aren't important, and that we can't figure him out..... Just another toady dealer...
My Cadillac converter was rust
could be slip of tongue, you all heard him say it right too...
I will never buy a car from someone who is in the business of selling cars.
I bought a 2002 Mustang from a small time used car guy in 2014. Got it for $4000 and that car is still doing great today!
I seen the same thing up here in Chicagoland where they were offering lifetime oil changes for an electric Kia 😂😂
😂
The oil change was for you so your hands would slide more easily into your pocket to get your wallet out.
It was a joke, man. At least the marketing guy had a sense of humor, unlike Bud Light's Melissa Sheuderheurdrdeschlerter whatever-her-name was. That's HILARIOUS!

Ok, dealers help us to understand this BS or are you all just crooked?
When I bought my Silverado High Country in 2019 the dealer came back with the 'out the door price' and it had all these extra charges. When I asked what the extra charges are for I was told it was for the spray-in bedliner and step rails. That truck was equipped with those from the factory. It was even listed on the window sticker. When I pointed this out the charges were removed. I wonder how many people don't question it and just pay up?
Enough for them to do it.
When I test drove a Honda Ridgeline, the salesgirl gave me a quote with a pile of extras I didn’t ask for. When I tried to deal she said “We don’t discount Hondas.” I drove to the next town and bought one for fifteen hundred off the sticker. And I love the truck.
You should've cancelled the deal and called the manufacturer right there. Dam thieves.
You’re paying the stealership 4 hours of labor to find the catalytic converter on that lightning.
Especially since that job takes no more than 2.5 hours worst case. 😂
Your first mistake was dealing with any business coming out of Atlanta.
Got that right
Ahhh, that's not true at all. 4:13
You can add Philly
Forgot to add, it's nice of you to expose the dealership (and the auctions) charging these bullsiht fees.
who would pay over 30k for a car nearing 100K mileage? my god, the world is filled with idiots
Apparently the bell shaped curve is no longer bell shaped.
I am a teacher and its all true. People are getting dumber. A lot dumber
The no name bids are what Ebay would call '"shill bidding." I know because a friend of mine got into my Ebay account 20 years ago to increase the bids on items that he was selling, and that got my account temporarily suspended. Shill bidding is very much immoral and should not be allowed.
I see it at live inpreson auctions with absentee bids and phone bids. if higher end items are not selling at the right price they will out the cell and act like they had a phone bidder. it's a criminal offense if caught
The best one that cracks me up is the glass etching, theft deterrent stickers, DataDOT DNA packages they upcharge $300-$500 that the dealer buys in bulk for probably $8-$10. Any dealer I buy from I specifically tell them, no add on's, no upcharge items, don't put your dealer sticker on my car, if there's already one on it, take it off, and don't scratch my paint.
Glass etching is probably the only thing that works. To sell on a car all the windows have to be replaced. That is expensive and difficult to do. Some of the glass has a long order time. Try and sell with different numbers on the window as the car and the fact it is stolen is very obvious.
I walked on a new car purchase this week. $400 stickers, $800 transaction fee, and a $500 "discount". Sorry, that's selling for over list price, and I'm not doing it.
@@mbak7801 they could care less about etching here in Ontario, Canada. The cars all end up in the middle east or africa. The crime gangs have family ties back there. Diversity!
I hate dealer stickers and plate frames…. First thing I do is take those off.
I already bought a car from you, I’m not going to give free advertising in the form of a tacky sticker or plate cover.
@@Fetidaf tell them to remove them, that way if the paint gets scratched on removal, it's on them. I've never once driven off a lot with a dealer sticker...ever. I've let them put the license plate thing but I always replace them anyway.
Any dealer add on is a scam
Don't forget about the lot attendants unplugging stuff to get lights on and make vehicles run poorly so their buddies can get the vehicle at a lower price.
At least no nitrogen charge. I saw this in 2011 at a local dealer and asked them how much for lifetime blinker fluid.
A few years back I was purchasing a Honda, the numbers were good and I was off to the finance manager's office to sign papers while the car was being prepped. Before signing I spotted an additional $900 on the contract. I asked and was told it was an "exclusive anti-theft protection system." It was stickers on the hood, doors and trunk. I told them take the $900 and the stickers off or I walk. The finance guy leaves and the "manager" comes back in and says they will take the $900 off but they couldn't remove the stickers without damage. It always bugged me seeing those silly stickers on the car.
If you still have them on, try using a heat gun to get rid of the adhesive, then try and get it off
My ride doesn't advertise for a dealer! I don't like seeing them on license plates.
@@billhuffman4327 Ditto. When I bought my car, I told the dealership there had better not be any logos on there that didn't come from the manufacturer. If there are, I won't accept delivery until they are removed and I've verified the paint wasn't hurt. I pay enough for my car, I'm not going to give free advertising on top of it lol
@Strahan7401
Amen
@@Strahan740i or leave 'em on. My advertising fee is really cheap, $5,000 per logo, $10,000 if they're adhesively applied, $20,000 minimum plus $5,000 mandatory for me to remove then after 3 years. Of course they can pay a renewal fee (I encourage auto renew), but we all know those are always more than the original discounted price.
Everyday I see the auctioneers pull those stunts. It’s so aggravating. I love it when a dealer confronts them about it and they deny it. 😂 I’ve seen one even act like he was speaking to someone in the line that said he accidentally bid so they withdrew the bid and I was there and no one was even there. If you or I “accidentally” bid on one you know we ain’t getting out of it. I’ve been bidding in lane and online since I was 14 and I’m 43 now.
Yeah. I always liked the "aww forget it. That guy was just scratching his head" when your bid was overbid.
How does a car with almost 100k miles cost $32k is beyond me, this market is crazy. I am not that old but I do remember when a car was that high in mileage it did not pass 20k.
It's a truck, they don't depreciate like a sedan.
Get'EM Chevy Dude! Grrrrrr.
People are constantly coming up with ways to separate you from your hard earned money
The amount of times you say "CADILLAC converter" is killing me. This is still a great video. Your camera presence is top notch. You are quite articulate. That makes the "Cadillac" flubs all the more entertaining.
“We need people to operate ethically and honestly”. 😂 In the used car business? Right. Toto, there’s no place like home.
Ebay has been scamming buyers for years like that.
For at least 20 years. Puppet accounts bidding just to drive prices up for the seller.
The auction scam might be something new in car auctions, but its been going on for years.
I went to an auction years ago for a tech company that went out of business. At one point, they were auctioning off 2 year old IBM laptop computers. When the bidding slowed a couple times, a guy in the back always bid it up to keep the auction going. I had gotten there early, and saw the guy who was bidding it up in the office where the auctioneers were before the auction. The guy worked for them, and was a ringer. He was there to bid up items. Those 2 year old laptops sold for 3 times what a better, brand new laptop went for at Best Buy.
I've also heard about it at real estate auctions, where the bank that holds the mortgage sends representatives to bid up the bidding to make sure that if it sells, it sells for a price advantageous to the bank.
Now, the catalytic converter etching on an electric vehicle? That's a new one.
They're called shills or shill bidders. If you google the definition for yourself, google will also tell you they're also called plants or stooges. Sounds fitting to me.
@@shauno3697 the shill bids are illegal in every state that I know of. It can be reported to the entity that licenses auctioneers in your state.
FACTS! and if you want to see this on a much LARGER scale just try bidding on something from COPART. The most scandalous company on planet earth.
They call those bidders Schill's !!
going on for decades .
IIRC, banks will often bid at least the amount of the debt to preserve their position, especially when it is a non-recourse loan or when they believe they won't have a viable route to recovering a deficiency.
I used to go to a local dealer only auction as a dealer mechanic to check vehicles my manager was interested in. It was easy to see the ring leaders ( the people working for the auction that stir up bids in the crowd ) putting up there hands like they got a bid from a customer and there was no bid made. You could watch the vehicle get bid up hundreds or thousands of dollars more. Often it was vehicles of one or two sellers that the false bids were happening. Wreaked of bribes.
My friend’s elderly father was ripped off by a Ford dealership that he had worked for many years earlier. They were his “friends”. He leased a barebones 2020 Ford Fusion for 3 years/36,000 miles. He paid for an extended powertrain warranty to 100,000 miles, paint protection, fabric protection and 5 years of service. By the time he was done he paid about $10,000 more for this vehicle than he should have. This was back in the days where deep discounts were the norm. End of story, he drove the car home and died that night. His son returned the car with under 50 miles on it.
Company loyalty to employees died many decades ago. Companies and dealerships today would sell their own grandmother to a glue factory if they thought they could make a buck...
So what's your point it happens everyday and you know when ended up happening the old man that died had a repo on his credit it isn't like the dealership unwound the deal
@@dakotaautosales9673 - I bet that dead guy was glad when the repo fell off his credit report 7 years later...
@@chiplangowski3298 Exactly lol
Did he buy it or lease it? I’ve never leased a car so correct me if I’m wrong, but why would someone buy an extended power train warranty when you’re not even buying the car?
😂yoooooo catalytic converter on an electric truck
One of my favorite sayings I heard you speak it. A lock only keeps an honest man honest...
My values keep me honest. I don't try random doors to see if they are locked or not
What a scam, while watching I noticed Chevy guy, the signatures have gotten all the way over to your wall, i remember when y’all only had on signature by the front door , y’all doin good , keep going
The other in lane scam I seen for years, is another dealer friend bidding up his dealer buddy's vehicle, trying to get other bidders involved. if this person got caught as the high bidder and could not get out in time, His buddy selling the car would either say no sale or put it on an if. the dealer selling the vehicle would say no sale if he knew for sure his buddy was the high bid, if he didn't know for sure he would if the sale, then when he found out it was his buddy, he would just decline the sale. There are all kinds of scams going on, you definitely need to know the game, or else you'll go out of business fast. You need to know what the vehicle is worth and what you can sell it for and know your high bid and stop when it gets there and move on.
Auction fever in action.
The auction have there own people bidding against you
The Catalytic converter on a electric truck is for when the battery starts on fire ! 😂
🔥
My day job bought a Chevy 4500 box truck with the gasser in it, they had some sort of catalytic converter shield made up of steel cable. The catalytic converter was stolen with the cables cut in one spot, during the day, with people in the office and in the warehouse... And those cables around the cat made absolutely zero difference. It actually looks like they unbolted it on one side and cut the other end off before cutting through a single spot in the cable. What a waste of time and money.
Yeah tbh there ain’t much that’ll stop someone with a sawzall. Even if u completely cover your undercarriage, someone who’s experienced will probably still be able to find it, and the only thing that undertray will do is improve aerodynamics while driving. The only real theft deterrent is having a car that’s too low to get under lol
Thank you very much for exposing dealerships like this,. You are the man
I'm seeing the auction scams going on as well all over bro! And the catalytic converter scam on a Lightning is just epic. I'm a small wholesale dealer in Oklahoma and I see these "ghost" bids costing me more money. When it's time for me to sell back through the auction not a single one of my cars bring anywhere near what I bid. Thankfully the losses are write offs for my taxes but this really stinks. Many auctions are doing this.
In most states fake bids are against the law. If you have real proof, then you should report them to the agency that regulates auctions.
Thank you sir.
You and your team do a wonderful job.
Great presentation as usual.
Did a quick search.. Even if that was a normal F150, deepening on the engine, the converter may not even cost the price they are charging for the warranty on something that doesn't exist.
I love your channel! You’ve helped me get a fair purchase! Thank you! Please keep doing what you’re doing!
"Cadillac converter"😂😂😂😂..the car transform into an Escalade..
Keep it up Mike! You are the man!Hopefully, you will soon grab that brass ring and get your franchised deal!
Last year I was looking for a used Ford Ranger and found the exact one I wanted. Less than 2 years old for the price that I wanted. Problem was the dealer was 500 miles away. I called Fullerton Ford and made an offer which they accepted. I did the credit app online and then spoke with a salesman. He asked me if I wanted the door edge seal and the ceramic sealer. I didn’t want either one of those things. I took a train down, wondering all the way if this was going to be a scam. I got there and the truck was there, exactly as advertised. While doing the paperwork I was given the ceramic sealer and door edge warranties. I was told it was standard practice there to do those but since I didn’t want it there was no charge. Not every Ford Dealer is a crook.
This makes sense because the dealer would want to do the ceramic coating as part of the cleaning up and readying for sale process. Otherwise, they'd need to rewash it before applying the coating but most importantly you don't want a "sold" car on your lot a minute longer than necessary. And if they use a real detailer level coating, it needs to be baked on. So you'd want it done before the car officially goes up for sale... But really with most dealerships, I'd assume hybrid spray on wax, would qualify as a "ceramic coating" job worth $500.
PS, try to avoid getting your car detailed at the dealer, take it to a real detailer.
8:36 yup we feel the same way when dealers has paper work fees of 199.99 or higher
that's your fault for paying it.
That's a Cadillac Converter. You stick it on your car and it turns it into a Cadillac. @4:00... When I worked at the Nissan dealer, my service writer got upset at me when I refused to do a P/S flush on a car with electric steering.
A couple of years ago, I noticed a dealership that added running boards and bedliner to their dealer addendums even though those were showing on the window sticker as installed by factory so the price of those were already factored into the MSRP lol. I called them out on it and the salesperson responded by saying “great catch!” He said they couldn’t remove them from the addendums fees. Why would I pay twice for the same items 🤦♂️ Needless to say I didn’t buy a vehicle from them.
NEVER , NEVER take your car to the dealer 🐀🐀🐀 🚙
FANTASTIC VIDEO! I have a dealership in Florida, well it more of a hobby, but I have been online and know this is happening. You are right, it drives into the asking price and the consumer pays with extreme deprecation. Finance companies are actually financing these amount over value so it's compounding the effect with interest to the consumer. So glad you exposed this to the public!
It kinda sounds like questionable price manipulation, terrible lending practices and high interest rates are kinda priming the market for a crash, doesn't it?
@aj383 subprime lending is extremely well funded coming off the trillion plus bucks COVID brought into the economy. Turns out most of that money was spent by average Joe instead of being invested. That means the folks who invest their earnings ended up with it from the businesses they invested in instead of spending. Now that trillion is going into surprise car loans since those who had COVID bucks used it for downs on cars they could not afford. Now they are back to the subprime loans. Long way to say that the used car industry is doing well, but prices are still up.
@@rctjacksonville"subprime" is the key word... The 2008 housing crash was mostly exacerbated by subprime mortgages...
@aj383 whike far to much to dig into in a response, Subprime lending has been around since leanding started thousands of year ago. The issue is not subprime but how high the default rate gets as it is connected to the collateral. Plus a bunch more boring stuff.
It’s called bidding against the soda machine
Back in 2013 i was a p.d.i. tech for a nissan dealership that had me acid etch every window for theft for something like $400 we also charged for nitrogen in the tires it would add an extra hour to the inspection so i would just put the nitrogen valve caps and not fill them because nitrogen is a scam
"Hey Alexa, what is the atmospheric composition of earth at sea level?"
Thanks again my friend. You're the best
NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES?!?!?! Keep up the good work Chevy Dude!! Love your videos!!!! How does the average joe have a chance....And how much does the MMR program cost?
Thanks for the education, I’ll be in the market for a new car in May and I’m dreading it.
yup auctions pay people to ghost bid and then retract them and drive prices up...i was almost hired by an auction to drive their 3500 dually truck moving cars between locations occasionally, and the rest of the time it was to ghost bid auctions to keep them going longer and they flat out admitted it
Retracting bids should have a fee
Happens on Ebay also.
Cadillac converter? Catalytic converter bud. Love your videos bud just friendly banter. 😂
Not all dealerships are like this but good you are exposing the ones that are.
A dealer with morals? Not trying to offend, I have never seen one.
Why don'y you put the link for the Wheel Lock removal in under a minute. I looked all over your shorts and videos and cannot find it. Thank you. Great info.
Most of the time you can hammer a socket on it and take it right off.
Socket works, there are also wheel lock removal kits for about $30. Donut made a whole video about various wheel locks from $10 to $300. None of them stopped the wheel being removed.
Love when I see Mikes videos, highlight of my feed.
Used to be shill bidders walking around auctions all the time. At least you pick them out as frauds. Same guys always spout out a bid when the action slowed.
I wonder what happens when a shill bidder is caught at a livestock auction barn.
I love when we a stealer ship tries to sell a free lifetime Oil change package for used EV's.
Yep. Although ACV doesn’t show you who bid I feel like this is happening there too. It seems like someone will bid just up to the reserve price and then drop off. Don’t get me started on that live appraisals. Buyer fees are out of hand everywhere too.
Thanks for exposing auto scams, especially the dealer scams. It would be great to expose their service department ripoffs.
Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
Reconditioning fee that’s a joke and another lie from the dealer.
Thanks for all the information you provide. In a few weeks, I will be using all that information to save me money on a new car purchase. If the dealer plays the games, I will walk out.
What makes you think a dealer is going to stop fleecing ANYBODY. Not going to EVER CHANGE
I got out of the automotive field many years ago because there are SO MANY crooks out there, us honest people really can't compete. I started out buying from private parties (from the classifieds). Made a friejnd who had a dealer's lic. who took me to a few auctions. I always had thought dealer and salvage auctions would be the goose that laid the golden egg...but I quickly saw that I was doing better buying privately. Can't compete with even honest guys all coming together to see who'' pay the highest price for a car (which is what an auction is)- much less with crooks who will outbid every honest guy.
"this is a Cadillac converter". It gets rid of the Cadillacs?! Does it turn them into Toyotas? Nice!
My Stealership charged me $75.00 for 1 gallon of OEM Blinker Fluid.
That actually is not too bad of a deal. I usually charge $69.
Hi, you just came across my screen. I've 'subbed' straight away!! 👍👍
That bidding process of fake bids is also in sports auctions; cards, memorabilia, autographed items. It's called Shill Bidding and people get accounts closed by Ebay. Pristine Auction has issues as well.. basically its the owner trying to run up the price.. there are auction laws against it depending on what province or state you are in.
Ethics in the new car/used car industry are “next to” non existent. I am glad that you are holding their “feet to the fire”.
Good for Mike to point out all the online bogus buyer online bids.
If the cat had a guarantee it would be replaced if stolen I would consider it. Online bidding is a joke. This has been going on forever. It’s even worse for luxury items.
Most craziest, Cadillac converter, this guy is brilliant.. 😂😂😂
That GA auction thing ... that's far more than just "disgusting"or a "scam," it's illegal. That's called SHILLING and it's a FEDERAL OFFENSE!
Thank you, Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chevy Dude
I've seen a similar auction scam at copart. Ghost buyers up bidding up cars then "sold" only to see the same car and VIN for sale 3 more times in the following weeks trying to get those higher prices.
You say you don't want the government involved, and I would agree with you on that, but sometimes, the only deterrent to scams like the ones in the auction are to change the laws.
Hey, dummies... Criminals don't obey laws. They just keep honest folks honest. Same thing goes for locks on doors... as was mentioned in the video. Laws are WORTHLESS.
I have been to auctions where the auctioneer pulls numbers out of the air. And if not them, someone set up in the crowd.
my dealership wanted to charge me 1k for cat protection and I told them I dont want it lol!
LOL When my cats walk on my black car, I just wipe off the footprints!
Catalytic converter on EV. Reminds me from a dealer who told that the timing chain has been recently replaced on an EV.
I was trying to buy a retired city/county van from an auction.
The bids were as much on the broke ones as for the good ones.
Was hoping to get a deal.. and found oposite.
Love this channel!
You have more faith in morality of the free market than I do, Mike. 10:20. I haven’t seen asking people nicely to stop earning more money work very often haha. Though, I’d be surprised if shill bidding isn’t illegal as a fraudulent practice in Indiana (even though auction takes place in Georgia they market to Indiana and allow bids from Indiana so jurisdiction is likely to apply); it definitely is illegal in other states. Probably worth a referral to the Indiana Attorney General; maybe cite IC 35-43. If successfully prosecuted you might be eligible for a cash reward, too (just guessing but I know sometimes this happens for whistleblower statutes).
The AG's don't care. They're all charlatans too. The entire political spectrum is just a big racket.
The funniest thing about your video was that the first commercial to pop up was a one for a ford dealership........great job........lol......
I've quit the auction seen because of fake bids caused by auction companys. they think no one notices, but when sale is done and when ya get beat multiple sales and when next auction comes ya see what ya could of won is back at that number you fought for is going up up so yeah I bid looking for a steal not to get stolen from. chevydude could sell water to the ocean hahaha great vids dude
Thanks Chevy Dude... Professor Dude =)
If that converter etch is actually on a Lightning, that is criminal.
Morals 😂😂😂 Good luck finding that
As a former officer, we NEVER asked if a car had ANY kind of etching while completing stolen vehicle reports. Cars have VINs, what difference does etching make? The only thing useful was a tracking device, like LoJack, OnStar, etc.
I was scammed by my Nissan dealer for my Titan. They gave me the so called "complimentary" check with an oil change and told me my cabin air filter needed replacing. I had no idea what a cabin air filter was so I said go ahead and of course it was 40 bucks or something like that. I went to you tube and found out where it was and went to the car and lowered the glove box to find it and no filter or place to put a filter. I then noticed on the glove box inside the door was an imprint that said "This vehicle may be equipped with a ventilation system." Mine was not since it was a base model. How do these people go home and tell their children not to lie, steal or cheat? I only went to you tube because if it was simple to replace I could save money and do it myself.
I’d probably recommend if someone tries to sell u something & u don’t know what it is, decline it. And likely, if u ask them what it is, they’ll probably lie to u about it.
great advice! where were you when I needed you. thanks@@NeedForSpeed.2004
Well, if you have the receipt, you have legal grounds to sue. If your truck really has no cabin air filter and they have it documented as selling you a replacement filter and charging for labor, that is 100% fraud and provable.
You are so right but it truly does not have a cabin air filter. Too much of a hassle to try and get back 40 bucks. The lesson-will never happen again but I respect your comment.@@ricmndy1
Finally someone with integrity in the auto industry.
My RV has a catalytic converter and I went to a muffler shop to have it "protected" with a plate when the thefts first peaked. They crawled under in 2 minutes and told me I didn't need it because no thief was going to have the tools nor take the time to cut out all the various elements crossed about under the converter.
So this is why I see and hear all the ads from dealers saying "sell us your car" or "we will pay cash for your car today". Who is going to sell their car for low blue value or even less? I guess it must be working or these ads, that cost $$ to place on the radio or $$ to post to a dealers account would not be posted.
A Car Dealership with morals, is like an Honest Politician, And Big Foot. Ive heard of all three, but never seen one...lol
Just saw this at a Subaru dealer in Albany CA and had to look it up. It was $500 in a long line of other things that the dealer added. Did not make me feel comfortable about purchasing a car from this dealer.
