My guy was quick to change the subject when asked about the pro players actual frames 😂😂
Shapo likely is actually using this as he’s had a blacked out mystery frame for the last few months that matches these designs. Can’t speak to Rybakina though lol
Because they modify it so hard mostly. Have one old racquet after Radek Stepanek and it is very heavy and unique for hobby player
@@Eliott-K and my boy nishioka!
@@Eliott-K That just means its a paintjob of this, of course they always do that
@@Eliott-K Pros don't switch cause they need to be used to one racquet takes a lot of training with the same racquet
I might have to try and review all of these next year 😃 that's exciting. I like the red grommet and changes to the 95.
Harry, love the Yonex VCORE 98 and excited to see a new version. Thanks for bringing the breaking news and explaining it so well.
Thanks Harry for the update and first look on the VC’s!! Looking forward to the VC95 review. 🎾🎾
Blade seems like such a cool guy. Interesting update, hopefully I'll be able to demo a Vcore 98 and Vcore 100 in the near future.
Very nice update!!!
Nice looking update. I can wait to play my racket of choice. My curent racket is vcore 100 (2021).
Excellent review and show as always. A treat to have Blade review each racquet and Harry’s jovial nature puts a smile on my face every time, but backed with sound knowledge and advice. Keep up the great work..Love the Yonex racquets. Just buy it!
A black version of this would be perfect 👌🏻
Looks Great... Can't wait to try them.
awesome video and super informative. Thank you Blayde! I cannot wait to try this
Nice to see the explanation from Yonex. Adds lot of brand value by doing so.
Nice dark blue black and red design it’s vibrant and I’m liking the new updates‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥
that production value! Gold!
Interesting improvements! However, glossy paint would have been amazing though!
Good demonstration and explanation.
My favorite from Yonex family is Vcore pro nice soft racquet
so Shapo went back to this newer version?
Was fortunate enough to try the 98 and it did not disappoint! I felt that with version 5, overall feel was a bit harsh. Then came version 6 with the VDM handle, 2G-Namd Flex Force in the shaft, and new head shape. It definitely muted it but felt in sum, was almost too much. Less vibration and enhanced flex but lost some feel as a result. Having compared the V.5 & V.6 against the new V.7, the changes in geometry seemed to have hit the right balance! Not quite as muted as the 6 yet still plenty comfortable vs the 5. IMO, they may have struck upon the right formula.
Jan 13th can’t come fast enough! Blayde, well presented & explained. Thank you both for the video & Happy Holidays!
Keep ‘em coming‼️
Thank you
I didn't see an extended 98. Has that been deleted from the line up?
I’m curious what updates will be for the Ezone
Love to see 'em. Big question is are they more powerful or more control. Currently playing VC 98 2021 and tired of ripping forehands that land a foot out (returns in particular). Just want a little more control. Maybe need to look at the 95.
Same problem for me here with hitting balls a foot out with the VC 98 from this past year, especially when someone hits me a shot fast & deep to my backhand it has about a 50/50 chance of going in or out lol
Can someone help me to decide?
I am 18 years old and i‘m playing Tennis for about 5+ years. Currently I am playing with the Wilson Blade 98 18x20 v7. After one year right now, I do not feel that confident with the racket as I felt in the beginning. It seems that I am not a fan of the high Swingweight anymore. So I tested about 8-9 rackets over the last 3 months and my final two rackets are the Head Speed Pro 2022 and the Yonex Ezone 100 2022. With the head I feel more controlled an stable but I have problems with the lenght of my shots and the power, so I give my opponent more opportunities. With the Ezone I have a lot of Power, a good lenght of my shots and I can go for easy Winners, but the Ezone is not as stable and controlled as the Head Speed. In addition my slices are much better with the speed as with the Ezone. I really like both rackets and I really dont know how to decide
i play with a babolat pure drive xtra long. Which of the Yonex rackets would i try. I am curious and dont want to lose the poser i have from the PD but can use a little more spin.
Yes! I grew up
Playing junior tournaments with widebody Yonex frames. Even though I’ve been a 98 player for years, I’m just excited about the 100 too!
love these breaking news. still remember he was here last time.
What grip sizes does VCore come in?
Dude is a tennis racquet rep and his name is Blade? Racquets looks great. I have old Vcore but looking at the Vcore Pro 97L as arm friendly next racquet.
This was such a let down, the cosmetic actually got worse in my opinion and it probably plays like the 6th gen. I’m sticking with my SV 95… I’m really sad because I was really looking forward to getting new frames. And yes color is that important to me!
I think so, the cosmetic didn't chance for the better I'm afraid.
2020 limited edition V core is hands down the best cosmetic
And the plus versions? When Will have retail?
May be viable to try next year, didn't get along with the current 98 & still like my old Vcore 100 XI
Kudos to Harry for teaching the Yonex rep a thing or 2!
It looks better than the previous.
The cosmetic is definitely better but still not the best. The more Black is a great addition but they should just get rid of the blue (leave the blue to the EZONE) Is there gonna be a Tour version? In the 98 maybe?
Add some lead tape, and you have a tour version
The tour version in the vcore is the 95, denser string pattern and heavier
hi, i m still looking for the used gamma bubba 137, if u come by one of this racket on the cheap pls let me know, tq
Really exited for this one. I recently transition from VCORE PRO 97 to Ezone 98. I tried the 6th VCORE 98 and it was too stiff. Hopefully this update makes it softer like they did with the new EZONE.
How is the transition going on for you? What's triggering it? I'm using the 320 HDs and I think I won't be able to hold that weight too many years, plus they are demanding!
I think the vcore is more flexible vs. the ezone 98. Is this your take as well?
@@davidjiang7929 Haven't tried ezone but definitely Vcore is extremely flexible, which is nice for me for the feel, but punishes me everytime I hit off center, which are more than I'd like!
@@elchanclascocina Is going great. The reason of the change is because against big hitters, I struggle to return the ball deep. With Ezone I can do it easier. Also, the ezone is so much easier to slice the ball. The only bad part, is for volleys. I prefer the vcore 310 for volleys.
I've heard the RA on the Vcore 98 2023 is 62, so not as stiff as the 2021 version.
Been in prison the last 10 months and nice to be able to watch these videos again.
For what crimes sir?
@@nonsodaniels2450 Tax fraud.
Yonex should release a "galaxy black" version of them. It would be great for guys like me that like black racquets!
I'll stick with the VC98 2021 edition. Don't like the changes, like widening the beam at the top ... He forgot to mention changing the stiffness.
When does the review come so excited
Yo that’s my guy Blade Bynum!😊
Cool guy from Yonex. I though it was gonna be a black out color but its still red. 😁
My favorite rep is back!
The silicon oil seems like a gimmick. Overtime, won't the silicon oil rub off? Seems like those coating on strings that eventually wears off quickly.
a different channel mention another design - the flex force, which appears to be a slight change in the throat area, but not mentioned here by Blayde? wonder why....also not sure about the red bumper, wouldnt that show scuff marks easier? - if that matters to anyone
They do mention it they changed the throat design.
Can we know the RA?
So excited for this hopefully the VC100 surpasses the Ezone 100.
I can't hit with ezone 100, it launches the ball so hard
Any idea when new Ezone coming?
shapo is actually gonna use the vcore 95 this season
The 2018 version of this racquet was the best for me. A little weight on the hoop and it was perfect. They need to dial back the VDM in the handle just a little to give a little feedback. The 2021 version felt like a soft baseball bat. Hopefully they understand that not everyone wants a super muted and plush feel racquet.
How about the Pro line up?
i sold all my rackets pure aero rafa, clash 10 v1 and even ezone 100 for new vcore 100 2023. its amazing racket i dont know what yonex done to this racket amazing feel and amazing munverbility and amazing power.
Why red again :(((( love the new VCore Pro pj they really tried something new there.
All black special edition?🙏🏼
When will you be posting the new 2023 Yonex VCore racquet reviews??🎾🎾🤓
Red bumper is a nice touch, but the new rackets definitely look less cool than the previous gen 😅
Yes! The black in the middle looks awkward.
Do you also know if the new vcore pros are coming out at the same time as vcores?
September 2023
@@tdc_2021 Thank you! Looking forward to it.
will there be a special black edition?
I would love to have black one
Regna is all black haha
@@plamprec yeah, but impossible to buy
95 is great to practice for junior.
yonex shirt kinda fire
Blayde is the guy you’d have a beer with after tennis. Looking forward to try the new vcore line.
His name is Blayde. My favorite rep, hands down. Though I like him even more with the cap on.
@@abokickel thanks for letting me know
It seems like it runs 50/50 with regards to whether these minute changes result in anything measurable in performance, comfort or feel. Often times change is nothing more than change. Flip a coin and either the aesthetics look better or worse depending on the brand and model and in some cases with a few racquets off the top of my head, the newbs were a step in the wrong direction. How many of us have eagerly demo'd a redesign only to be left with "what on earth have they done to my racquet?" I realize manufacturers have got to keep the machine moving but over the years, unless there's been a radical redesign, I've come to the conclusion most of these year to year changes either are sharpening the edge of an already precisioned to perfection instrument or doing nothing more than moving new graphite off the walls to keep people employed and well, I guess in the end that's a good thing for all of us.
If they changed the beam thickness which they have it is a completely new mold. That being said it will have a completely different feel I promise you that. New grommets will also give it a new feel as well. The smart tennis brands listen to their customers; the customers said this last iteration was a little too muted so they addressed that. Will be interesting what the new feel is.
@@MMm-kp7lk Indeed. Perhaps it will fall in the latter of my 50/50 observation that the change will actually be significant enough to warrant a look. I was disappointed when Volkl updated their V Feel/V Cell line (I own many) but on the other hand, I'm having a blast with my Osaka dragons, which I believe is Yonex's best ezone to date.
@@Maxx61 just heard a rumor the flex on the new Vcore 95 is going to be 61! OMG i cant wait to try it now! Should have more of an old school feel to it now; will be interesting to see. If this is true it will have a lot more control. Cant wait.
Have to watch this twice
👍👍
I like The Yonex Guy Very pleasant looking
Something about new babolat?
Really disappointed that VDM is staying and supposedly more dampening than the current ezones
still wondering if the vcore 97s will be refreshed
2024
I’ve heard on the grapevine it’ll be September 2023 when the new Vcore Pro range is expected.
What happened is they walked into the Boom's shape 😅😅😅
Love these videos with Blayde but I just heard he left Yonex. Very sad day for us when we heard that.
hoped for the black glossy frame for 95 :(
There may be a blacked out version coming. They have to push the RED paint out first … so they can make more 💰…
@@emjay2045 makes sense. Thanks for the comment.
I'm all about that matte. What do you like about the gloss?
@@time410s gloss is just next level beautiful when you are playing at night with lights, the lights play so beautifully on a glossy clear coated frame
@@time410s gloss gives more feel
VDM destroys the feel of these rackets... Damn Yonex!
How far back do you have to go to find a yonex that doesn't have the mesh?
@@chuckfriebe843 not too far, Regna doesn’t have VDM
Don’t agree, it just removes loud vibrations.
@@ElsonLim78 yes, but that racket is a baseball bat.
Play without a dampener
Why?! Why do they keep with the hideous red and light blue?! I hate it. I also really dislike the non black guard/grommets.
Not a fan of the paint job, I will wait.
Sorry!
I bought two Prince Phantom Graphite 97 from Japan...🎉
Nice prince racket …
omg
Everybody, including Harry, was hoping Yonex would finally get rid of those stupid blue patches. Instead they added black to it. NOT an improvement, guys!
How about the Regna?
Skip
Two russians endorsing the japan-made rackets.
Imagine playing with a red racket. Just sell the all gloss black version and rid us of the embarrassment.
Same old rackets different colours
Def not the same racket. Completely new mold and much softer flex
all rackets are waste in front of YONEX VCORE 2023 BEST BEST RACKET EVER.
love yonex i have one yonex ezone 100 2020 it very good for me
