      @@HPSupport for me they never actually clicked. I pushed them in and then pulled them toward me just a little. Strange. Never a click.

    OK, this is my 3rd HP printer in about 3 years. The previous 2 just suddenly quick working. My last one worked just slightly over a year then quit. I gave you a chance due to Costco's excellent return policy but getting nervous.
    I insert the ink cartridges in this 9018 model and the springs shoot them right back out at me. What is the solution please?

      Same exact issue. Insert the cartridge and it pops right back out. I had to insert them multiple times before they stayed put. Not optimistic about this unit (9020e).

      does same thing with the 9010e. Too many issues with this I want to return it but cannot get the bottom tray to go all way back so I can close the box. Any ideas?

    Is it possible to only enter the black ink cartridge with out entering the other colors? (as I only want to be printing in black and white)

    How do I adjust the length guide to touch the 8.5” x 11” paper? The paper length guide doesn’t adjust leaving a 1” gap and paper moves when closing paper tray.

      +Tee Bee Click File, and then click Print. In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties. Click the Paper/Quality tab. If Paper Size displays, select the new custom paper size in the Paper Size drop-down menu.

      @@HPSupport I’m referring to the actual tray that holds the paper and not the settings. The length guide for a 11” length paper can move no less than 12”. Again, how do i adjust the guide to support 11” paper so paper doesn’t shift in the tray?

    getting an error that says "one or more ink cartridge missing or damaged". All cartridges are installed properly. How do I get past this,

      @@HPSupport no ... its your ink ... its the setup ones because regular ones dont work ... it asks me to check for leaks ... not possible. I have done this twice now once with a refurb 2015 and once with a new 2018. Compared to my last one this has been an awful experience.

    i have Office jet pro 9020 I changed one of the cartridge, but I could not copy or print because there is a message says, " Do not use set up" I do not know what this means? I tried many times to switch off and on, but I get the same message, pls let me know what do I have to do?

    Is 9025 and 9020 are same like 9010 and 9015 just different name for different country thks love hp.

      +AGARWAL HARSH The difference is in printer case colour and part numbers are related to the different countries market. Not all markets have the same printer colours, printers specification are the same on 9020 and 9025.

    I am in Japan, and my HP 9010 does not show a choice of languages. It just jumps right into instructions in Japanese.
    How do I get English?

      HP Smart assigns by default a name to printers, which coincides with the printer's series or model. This name cannot be changed.

      +King Crowns Wi-Fi Direct is a connection option available with most HP wireless printers released in 2014 and later. Use Wi-Fi Direct if connecting through a local Wi-Fi network is not an option or for guest printing.

    I’m not able to startup the printer. I get the message: “New unused cartridges must be used for startup”. The cartridges that came with the printer 9010e are the ones I am using,

      @@HPSupport so frustrated with this! Still same msg re new unused cartridges. Updating firmware brought me to an option: “ “Installation Software and driver include sprint, scan etc. “. I installed that. It said nothing of “firmware”

      Are you talking about the grey sliding door?
      I included pics for reference: imgur.com/a/fJo6HIL
      There’s a little grey ridged thing on the inner part of the grey door. (see pic 2)
      You need to press the small ridged thing while you’re trying to open/close the grey door.
      That’s the only way you’ll be able to open and close the door.
      I’m just now setting up this exact printer and couldn’t figure out why that particular door wasn’t opening completely lol. I thought my printer was broken or something lmao. Then I noticed the little ridged thing and pressed it and was able to fully open/close the door.
      Idk if this helped at all! But if you were talking about the small grey door I hope this helped :)

    HP Officejet Pro 9022 . I bought this to replace my previously reliable (but now broken) Officejet 8600, worse decision ever. The 9022 is not an improvement on the old model but a retrograde step. It's slow, temperamental, constantly drops connection (not a problem on any other device) and seems unnecessarily complicated. The instant ink service has yet to be tested but with the printer telling me supplies are getting low but the HP app on my PC telling me supplies are OK, I don't hold much hope out on this either. If you are looking at this model I would caution you to think again and do more research. Little wonder why HP UK do not provide a review facility on their products (unlike the US site).
