I STAYED UP TILL MIDNIGHT YESTERDAY TO WATCH SO MUCH Video's on chatter baits and i was watching some of yours and wished there was an updated version. your channel is the best.
Tim and Matt, I love your videos! I'm in my forties and just started fishing again since I was in my early teens, when I used to fish with my dad. I would always fish whatever he told me to put on my little Ugly Stick with the small spinning reel. I started to fish again in late October after finding out I had cancer, and I have really found your knowledge and way of explaining equipment and tactics to be very helpful. I am somewhat overwhelmed at times, but I can tell that I am slowly starting to absorb your information with better clarity. Thank you for the great channel, and keep up the good work. Matt, my prayers are with you as you work through this recent diagnosis. I am travelling some of the same fishing lanes but with a differant kind of cancer. Wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!
You guys are awesome. Definitely my favorite RUclipsrs. I especially appreciate how you list everything in your descriptions. That takes a lot of extra time but shows you guys care about what you are doing. I go back to you video descriptions ALL the time when I am shopping.
I love a Chatterbait! I feel everything Tim said about it too! My 3 biggest bass have come on a chatterbait. But I don’t fish a Jackhammer. I prefer just the Original Zman. And I also make my own that thump harder than a jackhammer. My go to trailers for the chatter bait is a Berkley Twitchtail for a subtle action, a Biospawn ExoSwim, and a Strike king Twin tail menace grub. Keep up the Great Videos!!
Totally took your advice on these same baits last year around this time, and really did well this fall on the Bling and Revenge spinner baits. Also caught a bunch of quality fish all summer and into the fall on the custom chatterbait. Thank you so much for that information! You guys do an excellent job for us, thank you!
This is the first channel I recommend to any new fisherman I come acrosd as the vids are always slap full of great info!! Ima have to order me a couple of those mega bass spinner baits now lol.
If you love the Spunk Shad also try the Jackall iShad. Chatterbaits are my go-to but I cannot get bite on that stealth blade. The spinnerbait that surprised me this year was Accent Spinnerbait. Great video guys!!
Hey guys I think it would be cool if you did giveaways for baits or a day on the water for comments or likes to boost your channel. You guys are great, keep up the good work.
Just got my chatterbait shipment. I was curious about the blade difference but after seeing it in person, I’m now more excited to try the smaller presentation. Happy to be restocked on the Hog Farmers too. Best.Trailer.Ever.
Jackhammer + Cowboy got me a REALLY nice pike this past summer, ~36 inches, crushed it! Chatterbait works everywhere, for multiple species, it's fantastic! Prob my #1 cast n' reel bait.
Wow, that Tennessee background sure looks different than your hundreds of videos with Clear Lake as your background. Happy Holidays guys, and here's to an even better 2021!
I really like the addition of the grey aftco hoodie to the TB line. The red on Tim's hoodie really stands out a lot more than the black. Love all the apparel guys, couldn't have chosen a better company than Aftco!
War eagle had been my go-to spinnerbait this year. Great color and weight selection and that skirt has more than enough action. Only issue is the wire is a bit light and can warp/break after enough fish
As I'm watching this, I'm currently wearing your guys' heather blue long sleeve sun shirt! Fantastic gear from you guys, and keep up the amazing work!!!
I know this video is a little older but I’m always learning soo I have to ask what specific Conditions would Tell you fish the chatter or the spinner? I’ve caught countless fish on either but I’m looking to dial in the technique
I've bought all of the Z-Man Chatterbaits and I have caught more on the Project Z , The Original Chatterbait, Micro, and Mini than I have on The Jackhammer. Don't ask me why but the original is DEADLY in the summer, and the Micro "GREAT" for Smallmouth. I am in the Bay Area. Great bass fishing here...
Stealth Blade has a lighter wire hook. Do you recommend throwing on the same rod/reel/line as a regular Jack Hammer or something a little different? I have the exact combo you recommend Expride 7’2 MH Glass / Curado DC (ok 151 so not exact) for next season - looking forward to fishing it!
Those spunk shads are LEGIT. I'm excited about the new z man crosseyez chatterbait with the double coated wire weedguard. I got to toss one around the other day and its not as hard thumping as the jackhammer, more a quicker thump like the sk thunder cricket or chatterbait custom. But more erratic that the sk cricket. Love the fact it has the weedguards so you can bang around some wood.
Hey guys just question on the stealth blade, I have a MH Moderate savage gear rod, with a 13 fishing concept A 6.6 with 30lb braid. Should I use leader line ? If so what what line weight since it’s supposed to be more finesse fishing. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
Don't really throw a lot of spinnerbaits, but I do chatterbaits. Didn't realize a glass rod would be better, but I bank fish so I want a rod that does multiple things. Going to try a Mojo Bass 7'1 Medium-heavy moderate-fast. It's their cranking model, but it's still graphite. Thinking I can use that as my jig/chatterbait/small swimbait rod.
@@Jordantklein ya I used it. But it doesn’t match well. Big Bites has a color called Flame Thrower which is good. But it’s not in a craw. Missile Baits Diablo looks ok
I've had several chunks of skin cancer cut off. Sun screen and skin checkups are your friend. I now wear long pants and long sleeved shirts when I fish. Good luck.
How do you guys store your spinner baits and your keitech swimbaits? I know you guys are tackle junkies and I've struggled to find a good storage system for these. Any opinions appreciated especially for keitechs
They’ve been killing the jackhammer for me in cold water letting the bait hit bottom than snapping the bait forward about 5 foot at a time! Green Pumpkin Jackhammer/Green Pumpkin Thunder Crickets are the go-to’s
Question about War Eagle spinner baits: When threading a Keitech, you notice there is a "bulge" or bulb at the base of the hook. Pushing the Keitech over the bulb tends to cause the trailer to split. Do you: Short thread it? Push it over the bulb and glue the heck out of it? Not use a trailer because the skirt is longer? Thanks guys. Always helpfull.
I have been on a chatterbait rod hunt. I finally found that zodias glass rod on y’all’s website a few days ago before this video. Then I see the expride glass. Does that mean a crankin rod is the way to go with a chatterbait?
How do you keep the Hog Farmer Spunk Shad from getting destroyed by the double wire keeper of the Jackhammer? That is my favorite combo, but the head of the trailer splits pretty quickly on me.
The Revenge Spinnerbait is my go to! I have caught more big smallmouth on that spinnerbait than all others combined. That was a TB recommendation from years back and I have never looked back. Catches fish with, and without, trailers. Great video, thank you for sharing.
I use to have no issue with the original z-man chatterbait. Started thumping immediately and ran true. Then after they came out with the jack hammer, they changed the line tie and made the original terrible. Rises fast and hard to get it thumping now. Feel like it was on purpose to drive people to their more expensive ones
Probably won't even see this sadly but would the 7'2" Zodias Glass MH MF be decent as a chatterbait rod? Could I also successfully double it as a squarebill/lipless rod? Maybe even some deeper diving baits?
Didn’t realize you’ve been having some issues, our prayers go out to u and not just for your knowledge, we love fishing with you!!!

Asked about this and now I receive. Love that you guys really do read and respond through videos to the comments. Best channel on the Tube.
Ahahaha! They did that to me for the last one!
Cant get enough of yalls chatterbait, and spinner bait videos!
I had no idea what you were going through. Thank you so much for all the videos lately. Least I can do is send my prayers ♥️ 🙏🏼

My go to trailers for the chatter bait is a Berkley Twitchtail for a subtle action, a Biospawn ExoSwim, and a Strike king Twin tail menace grub. Keep up the Great Videos!!
I just made my own chatterbait for the first time! What components do you use? I used the queens tackle switch blades and a d&m baits piranha swim jig
As far as blades..
I been using a basspro fluke style lure as a trailer for a couple year and i caught a lot of fish on it.
Totally took your advice on these same baits last year around this time, and really did well this fall on the Bling and Revenge spinner baits. Also caught a bunch of quality fish all summer and into the fall on the custom chatterbait. Thank you so much for that information! You guys do an excellent job for us, thank you!
The part about fouling up on the trailer and hook was spot on.

Most informative bass fishing page on RUclips. Yall get down to every specific thing. Awesome channel 🤙
Most informative fishing channel and it's not even close.
Another great video! I can’t wait for mid spring spinnerbait bight.
I slayed them this past summer with a Jackhammer, Screamin Eagle, and Bling. I also love the War Eagle Purple Colorado spinnerbait.
Hope you get 100% well! I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO BUY ANOTHER OF YOUR OLD HOODIES!! I HAVE ONE AND IT IS WORN OUT!! MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME!!
Yes! Love spinnerbaits!! The Megabass SV-3 has been killer for me this year! Great info! I need to get on the chatterbait more though.. haha
Sv-3 spinner the Michael Myers of spinnerbaits straight stone cold killa 💯
Same but flip that around
@@BasslivesmatterLLC the vibration on these is killa!

I've been fishing chatter baits for years and they are so consistent
Yeah I love em so much until you find a log... 100% hang up right there
Agree with the Jackhammer 100%, Glad you gave the War Eagle props. All of my biggest fish this year were caught on War Eagle spinner baits!!!
I still like tha Mann's hank Parker classic spinnerbaits. Been catching them on it for 20 + yrs!
Amen brother. That twist that keeps the line from sliding when fighting a fish is the best!!!
Wow, that Tennessee background sure looks different than your hundreds of videos with Clear Lake as your background. Happy Holidays guys, and here's to an even better 2021!
Sure wish these guys would come fish my pond. They are truly idols. They are awesome and I think I could learn a lot!!!
Just got my PB on a zman original black and blue Chatterbait with a Yum black and blue craw trailer.

Jig bite is great in north Carolina right now...I caught a 6 an a 8 ...yesterday

The white zman with the gray and yellow belly is my favorite lure for the summer
Nice like that one too, the pond I fish the black and blue zman works great.

The Advantage Bait Co Jawbreaker bladed jig is right up there with the Jackhammer and possibly better.

For a downsized spinnerbait I really do well with a rocket shad 3/8 weight with 1/8 oz profile with 1 colorado blade. It is the creek smallie killer
Have you guys tried to Zman Willowvibe yet? Paired with a small keitech shiner is a killer combo

Have you guys used the picasso shock blade? If so what's your opinion on them?
That bling Spinnerbait is such an underrated Spinnerbait!
Hands down my favorite spinnerbait
How do you guys store your spinner baits and your keitech swimbaits? I know you guys are tackle junkies and I've struggled to find a good storage system for these. Any opinions appreciated especially for keitechs
Do you ever use the larger size jackhammers? (1 1/4 oz) If so is it more for hopping and bottom contact?
Definitely my 2 favorite baits.
Is there any value in throwing smaller chatterbaits if not getting bit, or would move to a swim jig or spinnerbait instead?
Caught my pb on a spinner yesterday 8.5
Ive found the chatterbait elites to work well. What are your thoughts compared to the custom?
Really loving these buyer’s guide. Keep it up!
Just got a 5lber yesterday on the jackhammer... thought I had a catfish because it didn’t hit it but the rod just felt heavy.. !
i just had 2 jackhammers show up in the mail today and i loveeeeeeeeee them
What gear ratios are you guys using for each?
They’ve been killing the jackhammer for me in cold water letting the bait hit bottom than snapping the bait forward about 5 foot at a time! Green Pumpkin Jackhammer/Green Pumpkin Thunder Crickets are the go-to’s
God bless you guys have a Merry Christmas!!! 🎅 🎄

have you tried the Googan clickbait? i got 2 but haven't had a chance to try it out.

Hey guys, in your opinion do you feel like a hydrowave is worth buying? Does it really make that much of a difference?
Tried to buy some of this stuff. But tacklewarehouse is down. Think Matt and Tim bought everything.
Can you guys make a video about some lipless regular crankbaits
with a chatter bait can you use a crawdad trailer
As always fellas great job explaining the spinners and chatter gang gang 💪🏿. Hope all is well Matt happy holidays to you both
