My personal favorite jigs are the kast king rattling jig, and the Googan juicy jig. For heavy cover... If it IS needed, I'll go th the Thicc jig with a robot worm... ik but I slam 5+ pounders with that setup. But for numbers game, again rattling from Kast King, and Juicy from googan.

I would love yalls opinion. My significant other is building me out a new jig rod for Christmas. We are going with the St Croix Legend extreme. However, I am torn between the 7' MH and the 7'4"H. I am used to fishing the Dobyns Champion Extreme (743 & 744) and the Xtasy. I usually throw 3/8 and 1/2 80% of the time. Havent fished a St Croix so looking for comparison of action and power differences.

Do you think the tour level pitching jigs would be okay for skipping docks with an nrx 854 and 20lb flouro? I bought some of those jigs recently but the hook seems like it would be too stout for that setup. The 854 has a pretty soft and with fluoro it has me a little concerned about using it for that. Love your channel Matt and Tm and appreciate your thoughts!

I've got a G.Loomis 903C MBR MH 7'6" coming in for xmas and was planning to use it for all around jigging since it's my first baitcasting rod ever (pairing it with a Curado DC 150). I've seen you guys recommend the 844/843 MBR a lot though - is the 6 inches of extra length on the 903C going to hinder me at all or will it perform roughly the same as the 843C?
Thanks for all the great videos by the way, they're super helpful. I'm coming from a primarily fly-fishing-only background but it's just not as effective for bass deeper than 10ft in my experience so I'm getting into using the best tools for the job. I was "hooked" after trying to fly fish a lake in southern arizona and was having zero luck. I brought along an old spinning rod just for the hell of it, threw together a texas rig for the first time ever and on the second cast hooked and landed the biggest largemouth I've ever caught. The information in your videos, production value and entertainment is all top notch and it helped me get my current PB, you guys rock.

Its basically a dirty jigs promotion since they have a signature series of baits with them. Good jigs for sure. But like all terrain, there are other good jig companies out there.
