Hows the 3.5” front 2” block rear sits?? Is it level?? Or better the 3” front 2” block rear
You guys should of mentioned the drivers side and what to remove while removing the UCA. It is not easy removing the UCA bolt. it's literally made to never be removed. I bent a shit load of the inner fender in the engine bay and still not able to remove. Had to use a grinder to cut the washer on the bolt and still barely able to to slide out. Its not as easy of an install as these videos seem
Excellent video! Made this install extremely easy! Thank you!!
Thanks a bunch for watching! -Zach
How is the ride quality with the n3 struts
The most in depth RC lift install video ive ever saw and its a chick doing the work. Thats crazy but amazing. This girl knows what shes doing and thats awesome. Seriously considering this lift. Seems like a no brainer.
I have this lift. 285/75r16 or 285/70r17 will fit just fine, without rub. I am running 2.5" blocks in the back because the other 3.5" kit they sell comes with leafs that raise you 2.5" in the rear. With the 2" blocks this kit in the video comes with, you will look squatted on a slight incline. I am currently running 285/75r16 BFGs on Black Rhino 16x8, -10 offset wheels. No rub at all.
Where did you buy the 2.5in lift blocks from?
Same question where did you buy the 2.5in lift blocks ??
Got the same lift bit mine include the drop differential. Love it so far!
What size tire are you running?
@@superivan24 285/70r17
Where did you get the drop differential Kit from along with your lift kit?
This the 3.5 front and 2” rear block. What the diff between the 3” x 2”??
Did you need to drop center bearing on drive shaft and if so how much of a drop .
Great video! Easy to understand and straightforward. Sara being a hottie helps too 😁
Thank you for the education.
Is the skid plate that is removed from the front made from plastic?
Could you cut the brace with a plasma cutter?
Help please I installed this lift kit with 260 -70-17 and it is rubbing can someone help me with my question thank you
Does this kit work with a 2022 TRD sport 2WD. On the website says It’s only for 4x4.
Excelente video me encanta? 😊
Can an OEM upper ball joint be used with these control arms?
What was the exact tire size on the 33”?
Why are those loaded struts for 4wd only?
I wonder the torque specs !!! i already bought the kit but cant find the torque specs.
Does this suspension work on a toyota hilux?
Would this kit fit the 2WD ?
How’s the ride?
Whoa what a lady mechanic no fear of breaking her nails 💅🏼 😊
No ma'am!! Can just go to the salon and fix it right up, lol! Thank you for watching. -Merideth
Alot of bad reviews about the uca ball joint weak point going bad after a month should I even bother to try out a pair for my 4runner 3.5 lift. I do normally off roading once a while and distance drive
I’m staying away because they can’t even comment on what people are asking
They want you to buy their 2-4" lift RC upper control arms for another $300.
2014 taco 2wd pre runner will this fit ?? If so do i need the spacers with the kit?
This is only rated to fit the 6-lug models. Since the pre-runner 2wd comes with 6 lug from factory there shouldn't be much difference besides the differential drop in the front. Wheel fitment will depend on which wheel you have. Give us a call if you need more info on this kit! 1-877-870-8556
Gotta say I thought this would cost more than it does. This might be a doable option for those of us that don't have an extra 3k-10k$. Nice!
Thanks for watching!! -Zach
Yep! Drivers side on a 2020😅. Got a fat pry bar, ran the bolt as far out as I could, persuaded the inner fender to "yield" a tiny bit. After the bolt was out I ground one side just a bit to match the her shape and reinstall was a bunch easier! This SHOULD be mentioned in the video! But it's one of those things that might keep someone from purchasing a kit.
Those are some cool wrenches what brand are those?
They are flex head ratcheting wrenches
There is a lot of brands but they are handy to have
I build bulldozers so I have all the goods 😂
Hello for this kit I need to buy a better front sway bar?
A new sway bar is not required for this lift kit.
What new wheel specs should i be looking at to clear the UCA ?
RC recommends 265/70R17 with factory wheels. If you were looking to add a wider tire we would recommend less offset to push the wheel out. The factory wheel is +30mm. Most aftermarket wheels that we offer are 0 or lower offset which would work great!
@@ExtremeTerrainToyota i was told factory wheels don’t work with the 3.5” lift with upper control arms because they will hit. Unless i put a .25 spacer
Any truth?
So will this work on a 2wd if I don't use the diff drop
did it end up working i’m in same predicament
@@mmawithmustafa no idea. I haven't lifted my truck yet. I did see that they sell 4 inch spindles for 2wd Tacoma on Amazon. I might just go that route
How do these p perform on there rocks?
I’m currently running this kit but with the vertex and love it. Only time you’ll need some super high end custom shocks is if you wheeling king of the hammer type stuff other then that any shocks really do the trick boss. 90 percent of people don’t wheel hard core just some small trials here n there but then again comes down to how much you wanna spend 😊
Do you need diff spacers for a 2wd?
Nope! You wouldn't use the spacers.
ok but where's her safety glasses tho
will this work for a 2WD trd off road tacoma?
yes
Who buys a 2wd trd o/r"?
“Make sure everything is torqued to spec” everyone says this, wish you’d just tell me the specs so I don’t have to dig through a manual. Probably insurance reasons so you don’t get sued I guess.
