Hi!! Motivated by your channel and by this video in particular, I've been working on my F-1 (old) but I'm stuck with the pentaprism.... Do you plan to do something showing the disassembly of the pentaprism? They get very dirty because of the degraded foam and it has several lenses and parts before you get to the penta. Cheers!!!

Ok, this is awesome! But here is one for you..how do you replace the shutter indicator "cable"? Somebody really needs to do a remove and replace the shutter indicator cable it's a very very small cable.
In order for you to remove the shutter speed mechanism you have to remove this cable to get to the slow synch gears if you have a slow shutter or a sticky shutter you can't get to those gears unless you remove the shutter speed mechanism.
Again, how do you remove the shutter speed mechanism with the shutter indicator cable attached?
It's not a easy task, I will try to make a video about the procedure...
What about the prism?
do you know how to repair a canon a1 ?? the mirror is stuck after i take a shot until i turn the camera off.
Sorry, it can be a lot of things... A1 is not an easy camera to repair (full electronic)...
Who's gonna tell this guy that he could have replaced the focus screen without taking anything off the camera...
